This review is unique - because Karl contacted us a day before our charter and apologetically informed us that the harbor motor on the Mahiya was under repair and the boat could not leave its mooring. While offering us other charter options - Karl also offered use of his harbor dinghy to Lime Out and drinks and time chilling on the Mahiya. We choose this option and it was time very well spent. After an incredible lunch at Lime Out - Karl taught my boys sailing knots, discussed the devastations of the 2017 hurricanes and his conservation work on the islands. Started with some wakesurf near the pizza boat and when we got hungry.......we jumped on over to the pizza boat for lunch! Good food, super clear water, saw various kinds of fish under the boat. After lunch we cruised over to another spot for some snorkeling then headed out for the afternoon wakesurf session. Picked us up and dropped us off right at the beach of the hotel. We swam with multiple sea turtles, a baby shark, sting rays, parrot fish, and squid! After the great day, we were silly and forgot a bag of ours on the beach. Unfortunately my GoPro was on top of the bag, and someone with sticky hands walked by. In a crazy coincidence almost a week later, Scotty actually saw the guy and got the GoPro back!
