I can't say much about the pumpkin latte as I ordered it knowing I don't like coffee much so that's my mistake! The cinnamon rolls were amazing and soft and doughy. Exactly what I expected and more. They are so satisfying to bite into and eat. I first got a cinnamon roll when they would go to the southwest market and since opening this place I go when I can because I'm always craving one from there specifically. The cinnamon rolls are delicious, but unfortunately, the business practices take away from the positives. I visited on a Sunday around noon, and they had already pretty much sold out, and only had two pans of mini cinnamon rolls available to purchase. I returned another time specifically wanting to purchase (3) pans of the minis for work, only to be told they weren't available because they are only made with leftover ingredients at the end of the day. While I was there, another customer came in looking for minis and was given the same explanation and shared in my confusion. They also don't accept pre-orders. I've been to many restaurants with great food that were ultimately overshadowed by poor customer service or business practices, and unfortunately, I didn't return. I have been going to the farmers market for awhile and purchasing these rolls. I'm also guilty of heading to a Sully's and grabbing a four pack of them. So color me surprised when I realized they were now going to be in an actual brick and mortar store hawking their cinnamon rolls! I couldn't get here quick enough. On a Sunday I woke the hubs up early and dragged him with me to head to the new place. As we pulled into the lot (20 minutes before open) there were about 5 other cars pulling in at the same time. I had to stop myself from breaking into a jog figuring unless they were ordering dozens each, we would be fine lol. They have the cutest little area set up for you to sit and eat or wait for your order. I really wanted to try the peach cobbler roll but they only sell it on Fridays in the month of May and since I work Fridays I won't be able to get my hands on one. I did get to try the Nutella and roasted pecans a try though and it was amazing. I also got my tried and true, Biscoff butter one (ok I got 3) as well as a good ole traditional one. I also couldn't leave without trying some coffee so I got the pistachio latte and the hubs got iced espresso. This was our first time visiting and we left very pleased! I had the traditional cinnamon roll while my boyfriend ordered the pecan roll, everything was warm, fresh, and delicious!! We also tried the salted caramel iced latte and the biscoff iced latte, both excellent. The biscoff latte was the perfect balance of sweet and strong flavors, while the salted caramel latte was more on the "coffee side" but with a slight hint of caramel. So since they got their own place, I decided to try them again since my last experience at the Farmers market wasn't so great. I will say the complimentary water is a nice thing at the ordering table. They have plenty of shaded area to enjoy the cinnamon rolls or treats. The service was good for me but I noticed the person taking the orders was doing multiple things and could be exhausting as she is handing orders out, handling customer issues, and taking order, sometimes all in the same sequence. They definitely need a better system for that. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, a bischoff roll, and a sugar free cold latte. Everything was hot, fresh, and tasted good. I came to the farmers market on a Sunday morning and waited in a super long line to try these cinnamon rolls. I got the Biscoff cinnamon roll and my friend got the traditional cinnamon roll. I've had these cinnamon rolls a few times now, both at the Haggin Oaks market and now the new brick and mortar location. Each time service has been friendly and attentive, with complimentary coffee at market days. At the new location, they have been selling out, but also been very transparent on their socials that they are still dialing in the right amount of product to make to meet customer demand, without risking wasted product. It's tough as a small company to do that and takes time! Even when they do sell out, they post to socials quickly, so as a rule of thumb- check their socials page before making a trip! As for the rolls themselves, I love them. They are not the dripping in sauce type. While they have a generous topping of frosting, caramel, or whatever special flavor, it isn't flooding the roll through to the bottom. The result is a gooey roll with bread underneath that keeps its form and isn't mushy bottom. A healthy dose of cinnamon packs a flavorful punch without being paired with an equally heavy hand of sugar on the filling. A couple quick notes- the quality of rolls seems a bit better at the new location than market- perhaps less time in chafing dishes with steam? The overall bake seems a bit improved and it's great to see. I have tried a couple coffees. They do trend sweet with flavor, but I prefer less sweet, so as with MANY locations I'll just ask for half syrup next time (the cinnamon coffee was delightful though!). They have multiple milk options and make syrups on house. I did find the one cookie (chocolate chip) I tried to need a touch more salt and perhaps vanilla, but overall it was a great Levain style without being undercooked. That's not an easy feat. Overall a great new add to Bakersfield. It's clear a lot of love (and work!) has gone into this establishment and they're worthy of a visit (or several). read more

I'm glad this business finally got their own place. I've tried their cinnamon rolls before at the farmer's market and again recently at their new location - still really good. The cinnamon rolls were fresh, soft, and clearly made with a lot of love and care. I also tried their pistachio latte and salted caramel latte, which were also tasty. Their seating area was nice and shady, perfect for coffee and a roll. Service was also very friendly and welcoming. To those who complain about waiting or them selling out, I don't know sucks to suck I guess? lol I've never had a problem getting a roll and I waited in line, during summer, pregnant as hell. Also comparing a small business just getting off the ground to Cinnabon, a major corporation, is literally nonsense and like comparing apples to oranges. Lots of the reviews I read mentioned how rude the staff could be. That wasn't my experience. The people I had contact with were pleasant and helpful. I was getting mine to take home. But I can appreciate the cute outdoor seating, but summer days might be tough to sit thru. Overall, the place was just OK. Went to the Centennial High farmers market to visit my cousin and she happened to be right next to this booth. I got the caramel pecan dozen minis and took them home. The lady said that they should last about a week in the frig. Followed the reheat instructions and bam! Soft moist cinnamon rolls. Not too bad. I had also gotten the cookies. Online it has open until 4 unless you run out of cinnamon rolls but I thought you guys sold other items! Even if you were out of cinnamon rolls maybe I could have bought something else. Holy cow! Just Cinnamon blew me away. First off the iced vanilla latte 10/10. I'm not sure what type of espresso they use but I will be returning just off the coffee alone. We tried the traditional cinnamon roll and it's throws any chain or store bought to the curb! You can tell each roll is made with love and you will not be disappointed.... In fact you'll be returning the next day for more (no wonder they are selling out daily)! The customer service went above and beyond my expectations. I had a toddler in tow this vist and they offered to pour his apple Juice (from a glass bottle) into a cup with a lid and straw (even offered iced) for me. Offered to help me carry items to my vehicle. Just such sweet people! The shop itself is beautiful, tables, chairs, and shade available. Went to the Haggin Oaks Farmers market and got in line at 8:45 (starts at 9) not a long line at all. 1 hour and 10 mins later we only moved up maybe 1/2 way up? By the time we left there was still 40 people In front of us, we maybe took one step forward every 10 mins. I went to check out the reason for the slow moving line - seems pretty simple you put the cinnamon roll (that's already cooked and cut into a container and call it good) they only had one person working the actual booth and one other who was just standing at the start of the line? Would have better served his time by helping behind the counter and maybe have someone else working with a pep in their step.
