I can say nothing less than that Sarah is absolutely amazing! From the time I reached out to the finished product, she was professional and very communicative about our projects. I called Sarah the first time about 6 months ago for a rental home that had been " cleaned". I gave back the cleaning deposit just to find there were many issues, including a " dog smell" in the carpet that hadn't gone away after an expensive enzyme cleaning. But, the first cleaning is where it'll all go wrong. Sarah charges $75/hr for the first cleaning and the cleaners will take their sweet time to extend the hours. On our first cleaning, the cleaner only completed 1/3 of the house and laundry and took 5hrs. Then Sarah asked if it was okay to add a second cleaner to finish the house for 2x the cost! This would have cost us $700+ (for reference, we have had the entire home cleaned + laundry for under $200 in less than 5hrs). We used Sarah to perform deep cleaning in our new construction home after we had some contractors do some work prior to moving in. Sarah was flexible and worked with our schedule. The Good: The house was cleaned from top to bottom. Every room got a nice touch from her team and she even provided videos detailing everything her team did. The Bad: Pricing. We paid a deposit based on estimated hours of work, and then paid the remaining balance after the work was completed. The result was a much longer job than desired (10 hours for an empty 3800 sqft home), effectively increasing the total massively. I've definitely worked with many cleaning services around the country ane this was by far the most money I've ever spent. This is in comparison to a condo we had cleaned after a massive amount of dust was in our home after some contract work. However, once I "shake hands" with someone I follow through on the agreed service. I just admit that I wouldn't contract at such a high hourly rate again in the future as I definitely could have paid way cheaper (I just needed the job done and so moved much quicker and against my better judgement). No fault to Sarah and her team, but a different team could have also reached our second story windows and fans with the price paid and info shared prior to cleaning. Overall Sarah was great to work with, provided excellent service, and shared a ton of great advice. However, I'm not sure we'd contract her again. read more

Five stars doesn't even cover how great this maid service is! Sarah was very communicative and she even squeezed me in for a last minute appointment. She also FaceTimed with me so we could go through my priorities and ensure that the deep cleaning would be tailored to my specific needs. On the day of the service, Summer and Paul texted me in advance to give me their ETA and arrived punctually. They were beyond detailed and took note of even the smallest nooks and crannies that required attention. I truly have never had anyone do a deep clean so thoroughly! From polishing the fridge, to cleaning the ceiling fan lights and interior of the washing machine, to washing the exterior window panes... nothing was left untouched. I was looking for a regular cleaning service for my house and Sara looked like a great choice on Yelp. I called her up and she was super responsive and came over the next day to provide an estimate. In person Sara looked great, so despite quoting a substantially higher price - I opted to go ahead and schedule her. From that point things went down hill. Sara scheduled the first service2 weeks(!!!) In advance. OK - I figured good things come to those who wait. Not in this case. Two days prior I get a super long text from her telling me how tired she is and if she could send someone else. I answered that for the first service I'd like her to be present. I gave her some alternative time which she rejected and opted to still come as originally planned. On the day of service, at the time- she's nowhere to be found. I text her to find out her ETA and it's nearly an hour later. I guess her service is like what cable technicians used to do and give you a 4h window. She also tells me she's in another part of town (I guess the tired and rest stories were just that, excuses to reschedule). She proceeds to tell me she can't come for at least a week. At this point I realized that if she can't be trusted to keep a simple appointment scheduled 2 weeks in advance - she probably can't be trusted with anything else. I contacted Sarah after being borderline-depressed from the state of my apartment. I had moved in about 6 months prior and, with all of the moving and unboxing, it was finally starting to come together... but not once had it been actually cleaned. When my space is dusty, grimy, dirty, it's hard for me to get out of bed and face the world. I've heard horror stories from all these new app-based cleaning services, and I searched all over the internet to find housekeepers I could trust. Sarah responded that same night I reached out and got me scheduled ASAP. I sent her videos of all my problem areas and she said "no problem, we can do that for you." I immediately knew I made the right choice. Sarah's doesn't have a one-size-fits-all cleaning: they will do whatever you need them to, no matter how dirty. For example, I had some gross mildewy smell and residue in my washing machine from the last renters, and Sarah asked her wonderful housekeepers to scrub that bad boy down for me. She even gave me some recommendations for what I can use at home to keep it staying fresh. Sarah makes sure every i is crossed and every t is dotted in her communications, is easy to schedule with and a pleasure to talk to, and I know her business is her baby. She's not in the business of screwing people over -- she's in the business of cleaning people's homes and making them happy. She explained that her prices are a little higher than lower-tier maid services because they reflect the pay she gives her employees, and I feel good knowing these hard workers are paid well for their amazing work. Now, for the housekeepers themselves. I've had Mindi, Johanna, Summer, and Paul clean my house, and they were all an absolute pleasure. They worked quickly and tirelessly, and I swear they got my glass lampshades shining in a way even I couldn't get them to, when I would clean regularly. They made my bathtub sparkling clean, and I finally felt comfortable taking my first bath in this now-6-month-old apartment, thanks to them. They're also easy to get in touch with, very receptive when you ask for certain things to be cleaned or done differently, and I felt extremely comfortable with them in my house. I'm having two of them back next week for my third cleaning with Sarah's services (I love all of them, so it'll come down to who is available to fit my schedule), and I couldn't be more excited! I was looking for a one time deep clean of the house as a surprise for my girlfriend. Sarah was incredibly polite, answered all of my questions and I was able to get on the schedule like 2 days later. They did an excellent job, there were only a few minor areas, that I would say got missed but all in all we were shocked at how clean the end result was. In general the attention to detail was phenomenal and level of quality was top notch. Another thing I really appreciated was the great communication that Sarah provided. She gave honest, direct answers to all of my questions, and I never felt like she was trying to 'upsell' any service onto me. Not a negative, but I will note that the price was a bit higher than some of the other quotes I got, but in the end I think the quality speaks for itself. After discovering, with less than 48 hours notice, that we were going to have unexpected company for the weekend I called Sarah on Thursday afternoon (3/22) in order to see if she would be available to help out with a house cleaning the following day. We spoke briefly during which time she stated that she was currently wrapping up another job but then would come by my house afterwards to look at what we had to do and let me know whether she could complete it the following day and what the price would be. I was skeptical at first (I needed the job done) and told her that I would continue to call around because I needed assurance that it would be done. She was a bit of a character and started telling me that I was welcome to look for a groupon special but that she was the best and that's why my wife had recommended I call her (this was true, but my wife had never used her services before). She showed up as discussed, said she could get the job done, and gave me my quote. The next day the crew arrived a little later than we had discussed, but showed up 5 deep, with 2 more arriving later. It was a little disconcerting to have so many strange people in my house, and there were times I thought they were moving a bit slowly, but since I wasn't paying by the hour I appreciated the thoroughness. Although the cleaning was decent, we had areas missed each time they came, and also found it hard to coordinate times of service as she was only ever able to give large windows of when she would be at our house. After the last cleaning, I mentioned to Sarah that the bathroom was never mopped and also asked if the rugs were cleaned since they were left on the counter, she apologized, I said that I felt bad for complaining but wanted to let her know, that was that...at least I thought. Two days later I receive a random text from Sarah saying that she "did not want to clean our home anymore". Ok... She followed up with another paragraph of texts stating that "she does not like me, I am not nice and I am too picky and I will never find a man". WOW! I in fact live with my boyfriend who's house she was servicing. If she did not want to clean our home anymore because we are particular on areas being missed, fine, but to get nasty and personal out of nowhere is incredibly unprofessional and unfathomable.
