"The best in town", this statement is obviously self proclaimed. I've been in the shop previously, with no issues. I stopped in this evening to replace a heating coil on my SKY HIGH vaporizer pen. I was embarrassed and shocked at the behavior of the announced "owner of the store for over 10 years". For those who don't know, SKY HIGH micro pens are essentially a clone of the micro g pen, even made by the same manufacturer. I've done extensive research on these pens to obtain the lowest cost possible. (Write that down) I walked in the shop and was greeted by the owner who asked if I needed help finding anything. I explained I needed a coil to fit a micro g pen. The owner directed me to a case with some generic pen parts, and a few Atmos pens, then went about his business. A few minutes later he asked if there was something he could help me with. Again I explained I needed the coil for my pen. The owner showed me a few parts that wouldn't work with my pen and said that I did not have a correct piece (??), and that my battery was "generic", and will never work with micro g parts. This statement from the owner was questionable, because after about a year of experience with the g pen, and the sky high pen, I can say with confidence the parts are compatible with each other (Write that down). The owner wanted to unscrew my pen and sell me a part that will not work with my pen in any way, shape, or form. I told him my pen does not even unscrew and the g pen coil is not set up to receive the g tank, which is the part he wanted to screw in my pen. The owner was clearly getting upset at this point, and his interest in obtaining my money was fading fast. From here, the owner had nothing left to do but tell me to leave his store, and call me a "fu**ing prick", I looked at him and asked "are you serious?", he continued to flip out and tell me to leave his store. As I said, I was embarrassed and shocked at the behavior of the owner. The bottom line is that the shop did not have the part I needed. This guy has no knowledge of the vaporizer pen market today. He even told me the reason they don't carry this particular part was that because the micro g pen is outdated and no one uses them anymore. Seriously? Let's get real here. Here are a few words of advice for your business moving forward. If you don't have a part available, maybe try and up sell the customer to another pen, or try and find a part that is compatible with what the customer has. Literally, this is how every other smoke shop carrying vape pens works these days. The customer is here to give you money for your services, calling them a "fu**ing prick" and kicking them out of your store prompts negative reviews and loss of revenue in the long run. You need to grow up and act like a mature business owner. If you've owned the shop for 10 years, you have not shown it. You act as if you were a school boy. After I left your shop I went to another on my way home. I'm happily enjoying my new vape ape as I type this review... Oh yeah, you're shop does not carry vape ape, only the generic globes, so I highly doubt you have any idea what I'm talking about anyway. The shop does have a few displays of Ironlak, and Montana paints, but seriously, what graf shop doesn't at this point? Laughable supply of paints in stock. I will never return to this shop, and I highly encourage others to stay clear of this hole in downtown. It is a well below Trails quality. read more

If you're a smoker or a writer... THIS IS THEE PLACE FOR YOU! I am new to AZ and this place is on my route home from work. The DOPE artwork on the outside of the shop is what caught my eye, so... I had to stop in and check it out. These guys had a LOT of dope product at average prices. From inks to paints, slaps to shirts... they had a lot of dope product. The girl working was REALLY nice and didnt hound me... after asking a couple of times if I needed help she let me browse and didn't hound me. I felt bad I didnt buy anything... but I will next time I roll through fo sho. read more

I'm a pretty introverted dude and often at niche-type establishments, I feel like I'm provided second-rate service because my first impression at most places is to be left alone. And since I look like a total square, this has been compounded at some smoke shops I have visited. So, I went in to Just Blaze with a certain level of trepidation. Call me gun shy but I could tell you stories ("Yeah, they're called Yelp reviews, dude.")... A good size shop with a host of display cases, pipes, clothing, painting on the walls, and vape goods, I had only planned on getting in for e-juice for my brother and getting out. I received a sincere greeting when I entered and was offered immediate service. I asked to browse for a bit first and the employee was accommodating. JB has a good selection of pipes that I was checking out and, when I finally made my way to the juices, I only had to ask and I had immediate service, including helpful (not condescending or off-topic or forced) conversation about the products -- I didn't know, I don't do e-cigs. I got rang up and made my way out without issue. Big ups to Just Blaze. Cool store, nice people -- I'll be back for sure. read more

Love this place. I recommend it to everyone who does art, paints, spraypaint, graffiti artists, writers, smokers, etc. I got a very nice e-cig/vape pen here for only $40 and a quality, pretty glass pipe for only $50... I also wanted to buy a painting they had on display but there was no price on it, and the artist who had done it wasn't there to give me a price... Liked the gallery/lounge in the back. I spent about $120 here and will be back in the future for art supplies. read more

I don't understand where all these good reviews are coming from. I spent $76 on a pipe for a Christmas present here. The guy who sold it said it was "well made". He also said he wrapped it really good and to be careful with it. I set it in my front seat, drove home.. nothing touched it. I unwrapped it to take the price tag off and the pipe was broken in half. I'm sorry but it doesn't matter how good you wrap it buddy, it shouldn't break by simply unwrapping it. That clearly is a poorly made product. I came back about 30 minutes after i left the store to return or exchange it and he says "all i can do is give you 50% off another product". Sorry dude, but no thanks. I'm not about to buy another shitty product from this place after that. It shouldn't fall apart from hardly touching it. Will never be back. And i recommend the same to anyone else. This place is a joke!! They need to learn how to take care of their customers. read more

Stay away from this place. OVER PRICED. Went in for the first time looking for hookah tabacco, they were charging me 6 dollars more then any other smoke shop has charged me ever. And when I looked around i noticed there is no price tags on any of the stuff. That usually gives it away what it is their doing. I will never return to this place again. read more

I have been trying for over a month to get credit for defective appliance sold to me by this store. salesman just said, after denying he was the one that helped me, that "they all look alike". I think that's a racist comment and will be talking to manager John about that also, as well as the merchandise they will not honor. his salesperson lied to me about selling me the item and then denied he had talked over the phone with me. he also lied when he told me I could return item if it had not been used and receive store credit for it, which is all I asked. Today, he said "we all look alike". Horrible! read more

Poor customer service is about all I can say, if there isn't money on the line to be gained then you won't be worked with. Test your products before leaving because taking your money elsewhere isn't possible here. Its a good front at the start but pales out near the end. read more

From spray paint to vape pens to hand crafted glass bongs and pipes...they have a great selection. Much better than other specialty stores that sell these items. Went there about 9:30am the other day and waited until they opened (a little late) but no biggie. They were all cool. They were Helpful, friendly and also threw in some Hemp Wick with my purchase. This is hands down the best smoke shop in PHX. I've been stopping in here for years now and always have admired how awesome and cool their shop was. I moved a way for a little and was just recently able to visit back in. I'm always greeted with a warm welcome and great service . Stopped in with a friend so she could purchase a favorite ejuice using a reward from her Five Star Reward program. The staff member (turned out to be the owner) refused to honor the reward as is read ... Instead imposing additional requirements (more money spent) then the reward stated. When he was shown the offer (25% off not including spray paints) he was incredibly rude verbally and offensive in manner and attitude.
