Extremely Disappointed - Terrible Experience with the Mother's Day Package…read more I purchased the Full-Time Mom Mother's Day package for my wife at Avalon Spa and Salon, expecting a relaxing and luxurious experience. What we got instead was a nightmare. The package included an Aromatherapy Massage, Shellac Nails, Avalon Pedicure, and "The Finale" (a conditioning treatment, shampoo, haircut, and blow-dry style). However, when my wife arrived for her scheduled appointment, she was told she was only scheduled for a haircut. How does a full spa package get reduced to just a haircut? Even worse, the haircut was so poorly done that she had to return a second time to try and fix it -- and her hair was still damaged. She has not received the aromatherapy massage to this day, and no one has followed up to reschedule or offer a solution. The nails were also a disaster. She said they looked unprofessional and believes the technicians may not be properly trained. When she tried to speak to a manager about all of this, she was told there was no manager available. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences we've ever had. For a place that advertises itself as a luxury spa, this was anything but. Unprofessional, disorganized, and a complete letdown. I absolutely do not recommend Avalon Spa and Salon.

I came to One Stop Nail Spa because it is very close to my house and my sister recommended their…read morepedicures. Since I don't have a lot of time or get pedicures very often I usually go to Spa La Posada or De Sanchez but the other places didn't have any availability after work for an appointment during the next two weeks and really wanted to get a pedicure today. Let me tell you, I am so glad I did. To start, the shop is clean. Everyone is wearing masks and they are sanitizing between customers. They didn't notice me come in but you just sign in and wait. I appreciated they were very focused on the customers they were already working on. Myself and another lady were waiting, then someone else came in wanting a pedicure but they made sure to take everyone in order. While I will admit there is a wait, as soon as they cleaned and sanitized the pedi massage chair, they set me down with some warm water and relaxing bubbles. On top of that, the massage chair was amazing so if I had to wait 30 minutes with my book and music, I was in pure heaven. And let me tell you, it was worth the wait! I selected the Royal with the Shellac and was treated to a wonderful experience by Helen, my pedicurist (not sure of the term here). The Royal included a massage and foot treatments that rivaled any of the spas I have been to. By the end of the treatment my calves and feet were glowing and I felt so relaxed. Helen also did an amazing job on my toes and everyone was friendly and welcoming. I will warn people that on busy days expect a wait, and they only take walk-ins but if you are willing to wait you will be in for a treat.
