I walked out with completely uneven top, majority of the top right side deleted, and a high skin fade undercut. This short stocky blob started high with the fade and completely cut off the right side of my top half that combs over. He was cutting my hair as if he was running late to an appointment. If you're willing to trial and error with different barbers, by all means.

However, I did not want a fade (we used to call them "white walls"). Jacob listened to the kind of cut I wanted and did exactly as I requested. For 20 years, every place I've been to in the RGV, the barber wants to used clippers and zip up the sides.
