Unfortunately I a bad experience here. I got a powder dip manicure and regular pedicure that took 2 hours....The pedicure was fine, but when it came to my fingers nails that's where the issue was. The woman doing my nails did not know what she was doing and kept messing my nails up. She had to keep shaving the polish off and starting over. This was very upsetting. She ended up fixing all her issues, but then a few days later my nails started to chip. I was also expecting some kind of discount since she took FOREVER and did not know what she was doing/was making mistakes. Unfortunately I had to pay full price. If I could give this nail salon a negative rating, I would. My aunt came here for a mani and pedi and she does not speak English. My English speaking cousin booked the appointment for her ahead of time and the employee who did my aunt's nails proceeded to take advantage of the fact that my aunt doesn't speak English by adding on extra things to her service. When it came time to tip, she SCREAMED at my aunt for only giving a 15% tip. The audacity and lack of manners from this employee is simply astounding. WORST EXPERIENCE AT A NAIL SALON! As a local to North White Plains, I decided to come to this nail spa. I decided to go with the standard manicure, and pedicure service. However the workers were pressuring me to do a bunch of add-ons and as I kept declining I noticed an increase of attitude towards me. As a I shrugged it off, the process was very quick and sloppy. The end product was not what I justified the price to be. But at last I shrugged it off and decided to pay. I gave a 17% tip, and the workers INSTANTLY yelled that a 20% tip was the MINIMUM. I do understand tip is a part of their payment, but to be out right rude and pushy on the tip is highly uncalled for in my opinion. Needless to say, I will NEVER return to this location even though I live 5mins away. I would rather travel further out of my way then to come here. Shame on the business owner, and workers for creating such a hostile, pushing to corner business to a such a lovely town. I wanted to like this place because it's so close but I would STAY AWAY just like all the reviews say. They're money grubbers! The lady kept trying to upsell me on the pedicure and I declined so she got an attitude and made it very quick. Didn't do the cuticles when I asked she said they were fine. Their massage chairs are not good as well. They are too light. When I paid she was STANDING over my shoulder waiting for the tip. I gave her 17% because she didn't deserve the 20% with the attitude, and then she yelled at me as 2 other women working there were watching and just shook their heads instead of calling the manager. I walked out of there. I will never return. The owner should read his reviews and make some changes. He is too busy being on his phone not watching. This is a nail FACTORY. They treat you like a person on a conveyer belt. They rush through everything, and constantly stop what they are doing to laugh and joke with each other. I don't even think my nail technician looked at my nails for more than 45 seconds at a time without looking around and laughing with her friends. I have been here twice and have had the same experience both times--never again. Both times, I felt rushed, unappreciated, and they love to point out all the things wrong with your nails. My daughters and I have been to this salon a few times before, and it was just okay - they aren't the nicest people, and definitely a bit overpriced. Today, however, was TERRIBLE. We asked for powder polish, which we had done previously at another salon. They charged us $40 each for one color, only using 3 coats on mine (you can see from the pic that it needed at least 1-2 more coats to be opaque). The other salon only charged us $40 for ombré French nails that took 6 coats! My manicurist looked annoyed when I gave her a 20% tip (they actually have signs recommending at least 15%, so why is 20% so bad?). My daughter's manicurist used 4 coats on hers, which were only a shade darker than mine, and they came out opaque, but when I complained that mine were too sheer, I had four manicurists surround me and tell me that they only ever use three coats. no one apologized or offered a discount. I don't think I've ever left such a negative review about a nail salon but my last experience left me very angry. FYI: I had been to Just4U a number of times before & had perfectly good manicures & pedicures but my last (recent) visit for a pedicure left me feeling that it was time to look for a new salon. The pedicurist didn't seem very friendly or, more important, attentive. I had a broken toe & requested that she handle the toe very delicately. She did not. As I sat under the dryer, I was presented with the bill & I paid it, including the tip which I usually leave in cash. Big mistake. She returned with the receipt, hovered over me & actually pointed to the tip suggestions at the bottom of the receipt. Apparently what I left wasn't good enough. Stupid me. I actually upped the tip & regretted it all the way home. As I wasn't able to cancel the transaction, I called the salon the following day & asked to speak with the manager. He (or she) wasn't in, of course, so I left my name & number. Did anyone of any gender call me back ?? NO. That was the final straw. A visit to a nail salon is not donating to a charity. As I'm paying for the service, I am entitled to leave whatever amount of tip I want but NO staff member is entitled to instruct or reprimand me on the amount left. Feh !! read more

Hot stones for about 2 seconds at the end For some reason she put paper slippers on my feet instead of my flip flops and when I was putting my shoe on I messed up my big toe polish . WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I would. A friend recommended this place because there are two excellent manicurists there and I was trying SNS for the first time. We booked in person, two weeks in advance and made SURE to ask specifically for the two technicians we prefer. They assured us they were available and we even confirmed the appointments AGAIN a few days before coming in. When we arrived we both had our pedicures done by the technicians we requested and thought all was well. However when I sat for my nails the manager who we booked the appointments with came over and flat out said that my technician could not continue with my manicure because she had another appointment and could only do one service, not both. When asked why he did not mention this at the time we booked the appointment OR when I walked in the door he had no answer. He was rude and dismissive. Only about 20 minutes later when I was nearly done did he come over and (barely) apologize and offered me a "free" massage. The poor technician he kept barking at was clearly not a masseuse and looked very uncomfortable with the idea so I declined. Not to mention almost every nail salon I've ever been to offers a massage while finishing up or drying so it was not like he was going out of his way. My manicure is passable at best. My cuticles look a mess and I had to constantly ask for corrections (crooked filing job, gloopy application, etc.) I will NEVER return to this salon and am still fuming that I was charged full price and not offered any type of accommodations to make up for the horrible customer service. I'm not one to leave a bad review but honestly I was beyond disappointed with my experience here. I usually don't come here but I was looking to try something new and close by. The experience was horrible from the moment I stepped into the place. I had an appointment so I was seated immediately where I waited 20 minutes before anyone had acknowledged me. I had to soak my previous powder off so the woman soaked my nails and put a burning hot towel on my hands while they were soaking and then disappeared. She came back 15 minutes later, at this point my finger tips were numb and extremely irritated from the nail polish remover soaking my nails. My nails were extremely long (which I loved), she asked if I wanted them shorter I said just a trim but mainly file. She began opening the foils one by one, cutting a nail then closing the foil...until she had cut them all. I thought that was a strange method but remained quiet out of respect. After she removed ALL the foils I noticed my nails were EXTREMELY uneven and she had cut most of my nail off. At this point I was already super frustrated but tried to keep quiet. She asked me how I liked them shaped, I said square please. As I was looking through the colors she starts rounding some and squaring others. My nails looked like a 2 year old did then I was so disappointed. At this point I didn't even feel comfortable having her do the gel I said I would just get a regular manicure, she goes okay well now I have to charge you cause I soaked off your nails. Long story short don't go here. My experience was absolutely terrible, I had to come home and completely chop off all my nails cause they were uneven, different shapes and breaking one at a time. Such a disappointment and a complete waste of money, leaving me with nails worse than when I went in there. I am a working mom short on time who enjoys a moment to herself when I can get one. This place has been my refuge for the past year. Prior to this I wasn't one to get regular manicure but it is so peaceful and I never have to wait. They do a great job and I always get compliments on my nails. This place seems nice from the outside and with covid they make you wash your hands and take your temp when you arrive but the tools are not sterile, the technicians don't wash their hands and everything feels dirty. The chairs/pens/seats and tools are not cleaned between customers. the lady doing my pedicure took the foot scrubber after she was done using it on me and rinsed it in my dirty foot water, dried it with my dirty towel and placed it back in her drawer. Besides that the pedicure was something I could have done myself, took all of 15 minutes start to finish and then I opted out of getting my scheduled manicure because I didn't want to waste my money or risk staph or worse covid. I went for a manicure and pedicure and after paying $38 for some "specialty" pedicure that includes callous remover, I expected smooth heels. Nope! I got my nails done there (SNS powder) and the next day two of the nails were cracking under the top coat. I've never had this happen with the powder gel. I called them to see if they would fix it and the owner told me to come in so he could look at it before saying yes or no. When I went they were skeptical and not sure if they wanted to fix it. It wasn't crazy noticeable but powder is supposed to last at least 2 weeks - cracking after less than a day is not right. Instead of taking it off and fixing it the right way, they buffed it down and just added another layer of powder because it was quicker and they seemed to want to get me out. Less than 4 hours later it has cracked again. Really disappointed with the service and the job they did. I don't often get my nails done so to do so is a treat and it sucks they did such a poor job. I will say that depending on the nail tech the experience can vary, so make sure to always request the same tech. Please STAY AWAY from this place. The first time I went I made an appt. They told me 9:45 and they did not open until 10:00! I was waiting in the parking lot for 15 minutes. When they finally opened, I still had to wait a good 15 minutes before they got started on my nails. They rushed through the manicure and it did not last long at all. I was very annoyed but I thought I would give them another try. Round 2: I made an appt for a pedi. This time they took me on time which was great. I got my nails done one Friday to get a fill in and a gel nail polish. They didn't put no acrylic on my nails to fill the set. The guy who did my nails was rough. I ask to change the shape of my nail to almond shape and he didn't. On top of not nails correct. He broke my real nail and try to fix it terrible. My nails were so bad the owner had to come and fix them himself. After I begged and plead to leave and said I didn't want them to do anything else. They insisted to fix it but only made them worst. It's now Wednesday and the nail I got fixed and done from them are now broke and lifting. They were so worried about receiving their 55 dollars for the service which by the way was really high for a fill in they didn't care that I wasn't happy with the service and the look of my be uneven and looking horrible. I have been going to this nail salon for about 15 years and usually get good manicures and pedicures. However, yesterday I went in for a manicure and pedicure which cost $38. I tipped the manicurist five dollars. She informed me that the minimun gratuity was %15 and I had to give her another dollar. Not wanting to argue, I just gave her the extra dollar. This is the second time a manicurist has demended more money from me under the %15 gratuity minimun policy. Tipping is not manadatory and a business can not and should not tell a customer how much to tip. It is embarrassing and uncomfortable to be put in that position. I do not appreciate being shaken down for extra dollars when I go in for a service. Shame on you. The women who work at the salon should be paid a higher wage so they don't have to beg customers for dollars . read more

Though he moved from Happy Choice Nails to a newly renovated, beautiful salon renamed Just 4u, his customer service skills are non existent. He's rude, dismissive and condescending. I now go occasionally for a pedicure because they are open on Sundays. But am on the search for another salon with a more accommodating atmosphere and attention to customer service.
