Jurassic Tacos - Jurassic Taco no cheese steak - Mexican Near Me - West Jordan, Utah

For the most part, these are some very good tacos. The mahi mahi taco was super yummy..Fish inside cooked perfectly, and it's a hefty taco - one of the better fiish tacos I've had in a while. Shrimp taco was pretty good too. Another I liked was the sweet pastor pork. Asada was the only let down, cut too large and not authentic. Salsa bar has a lot of good stuff to add. Space is clean, order at the counter. Prices aren't too bad either. We were happy with our first visit and looking forward to a second. read more

The food truck had many options , the food overall was really good and the burrito was well compact , a little on the pricier side but still overall very tasty . The service was quick and efficient ! i would recommend trying it out if you haven't already . read more

Tried the carne asada fries & the ketosaurous . The meat, sauce, and topping were. Carne asada meat a little bit on the dry side here, but the flavor is on point. Service is great! The ladies at the counter and in the kitchen were super nice. The ambiance is relaxed and a comfortable and inviting dining experience. Ordering takeout at the counter is also a quick and simple process, read more

Service was awesome and the food was tasty. I highly recommend trying them if you haven't. They are a little bit more expensive than some taco places but they are also much bigger taco's and taste much better then most places. ok they are much tastier than any place I've gotten taco's. Highly recommend eating here if you haven't and if you have you know how good it is. read more

The tacos were okay, not the best. Definitely Americanized Mexican food. The salsa bar had good toppings, but the salsa was so thin it was basically vinegar sauce. The menu is also pretty confusing. It was $32 for 2 combos. We wouldn't be back but we're glad we tried it. read more

Love their food I got here like once a week. Everyone I bring here also likes it. Service is good and so is the atmosphere.

One of the best places Utah has to offer. Really good and fresh ingredients. Every topping compliments each other on the tacos. I have waited a long time for this location to open. I'm so glad they have finally come to Salt Lake County. I can't wait to try the whole menu. read more

I purchased the trex taco. $15 for one taco is not worth it. In the picture it looks like a good portion however it was very small. They are stingy with the chip portions and the salsa portions. Would not purchase again. read more

I stopped in on a week night and was fairly impressed with the quality of food. I had a raptor taco and asada fries. The tacos had a decent flavor and well made and cooked well. The sauces were really good, and made for a great pairing with my meal. The tacos were decent overall and a pretty good option in the valley The service was friendly and the meal came out very quickly. The restaurant was themed with dinosaurs and welcoming. I would definitely visit again, and would be happy to try more on the menu. read more

This is one of the most adorable new taco places around town. The food only took about 15 minutes to be ready after ordering. The meat was juicy, the pineapple on the Dino fries was delicious, and the Dino decor was fun with out being tacky. My only suggestions is to take into consideration that the shop isn't very big so if you have a large group it won't be an easy fit (10+people). The raptor taco only had a slim slice of Anaheim pepper. It would have been nice if it had a few more slices. read more

The food is just plain nasty & expensive. Went here for the first time and it'll be the last. Ordered 2 of their combo #1's which came out to around $40. The Al pastor didn't have much flavor & the carne asada wasn't even Carne asada. It was just steak cut into HUGE pieces and hard to swallow. The chips were stale and salsa had no flavor. Won't be going back here again. read more

Ordered via Grubhub because I couldn't leave the house and wanted to try this restaurant out. The food was delivered on time but I don't plan to order delivery from here again. The restaurant did not include the kids drinks with the quesadilla order and my megalon order was missing chips and pico. The food is big portions (there are two quesadillas for each kids order). The carne asada and Al pastor tasted ok, not great. I did like the horchata but disappointed the kids meals were missing their drink order and my meal did not come with chips and pico as expected The food delivery was $42 total. Rey de Oros across the street is much better and half the price I paid for similar meal. read more

It was ok....saw all of these awards on the wall... and afterwards thought I have been to a ton of authentic taco places that are so much better...When we walked in... we had never been so trying to consume and understand the menu seemed difficult.. too much going on... Was totally disappointed... read more

Jurassic Tacos puts a unique spin on Mexican cuisine. I enjoyed the very tasty and extra large T-Rex with carne asada. They also have a great Piña drink, and their Coca-Cola mix was good. My wife said the street tacos were great too. read more

I have been disappointed three times in a row here - my last order to go, I ordered a keto asada taco. It's supposed to be melted crispy cheese as a shell with carne asada. When I got home, it was a regular flour tortilla with giant chunks of meat. What did I spend $13+ for? I keep trying them since they're nearby but their food just isn't good. Definitely do not recommend. read more

Everything was delicious and the service was great too! We had 2 Jurassic tacos and a mahi mahi taco. I love the extra toppings and sauces to choose from as well. I'm only sad no one recommended this place sooner. read more

Service is slow, food had no taste. The cashier just sat there on is butt and literally did nothing other than taking orders. Did help pack them up or anything. Just sat there. read more

So this is the second time I visited this location. Our first visit-rude customer service. Girl at the counter had an attitude and it was pretty busy. Decided to put that aside. Food was subpar. Definitely not authentic "street tacos". They had kids running in and out like it was a day care and selling toys outside. Our visit today-holy cow! When we approached the entrance, a man was cleaning out his vehicle that works there. He had his vacuum plugged in through the restaurant and was throwing out his trash on the floor where we could see. A nasty toothbrush and dirty tissues. He even shoved us when we exited the building to yell something across the room to the kitchen staff. They're all related and they care about themselves and not the customer. Definitely don't recommend when a burrito alone was $17. read more

These tacos are massive and delicious! I just wish the nutritional info was displayed on the menu.

I only had the street tacos from the truck. Short review: mediocre tacos, over priced and in a very annoying ending to the transaction, the default on their payment app only gives you different tip % options, so it's a hassle to not add a tip...kind of deceitful in my opinion. read more

Amazing service and gr8 tasting food as well very cleanly and hr8 customer service plus the music in the air and the atmosphere is amazing!

This restaurant is awesome both times I've eaten there. I was amazed at the flavor and texture of the food. Hundred percent approved.

Prices a bit steep, but tacos and the sauces are good. The carne asada meat was a little fatty, but still had good flavor.

I am allergic to wheat. They were willing to cook my tacos separately. Glad for the understanding and willingness to help me.

Didn't receive any items ordered correctly and they just substituted an el pastor taco for chips and queso without consulting. Our steak taco was completely plain, no sauce, onions, cilantro...anything. What a horrible experience read more

Finally Jurassic tacos is OPEN!!! Honestly I ordered pretty much everything. Got the Megalo Combo #1 with their Jurassic quesadilla and carne asada tacos, the burrosario and carne asada fries. I really recommend upgrading to the NY steak because the meat is so buttery, tender and juicy. The service is so quick and friendly. They also have a salsa and toppings bar which is awesome because it adds that much freshness to the food. Next time I am going to try their fish & shrimp tacos! read more

Food truck review in West Jordan. Terrible. I might be white, but I understand Spanish. Trashed me for asking about corn items on menu vs flour. I'll never eat anything from them. Window guy was so disrespectful. This took place at the food truck last month on Thursday in West Jordan. They're coming to my location again today. I wish others a better experience. The manager reached out on the review and wanted to rectify the situation... but never followed up on anything. Looking through all of the reviews it seems that rude customer service and subpar food are items that keep coming up. The other is how they treat you when you ask for anything gluten-free or keto. read more

I have loved Jurassic Tacos for years. Until today it was my go-to favorite place for my favorite burrito. Almost every Sunday my husband would pick me up my favorite burrito from here. I loved how it had both the carne asada and fries in it. Today, I was sadden by the change. Not only did I get half the size I have normally gotten over the last few years, there were no more fries in my burrito. My husband said the place changed in the last few weeks since he's been there. He said it looked like the menu changed, and the people that normally serve him food were no longer there. I have no idea what happened in the last month, but I am devastated. Not only that, there were beans in the burrito when normally it has been mostly carne asada and fries. What happened? Why change what was good? read more

Stopped by here for lunch, the meat was quality and we like how much meat was on each taco. We were full from just four street tacos.. which is surprising! Food came out quick. Friendly staff. We loved the artwork inside and the chairs and tables were really nice. Overall, a solid lunch spot. With the high prices of food these days, you get generous portion sizes and quality meat for a good price. read more

Before this week I'd only ever had their food truck, but I finally stopped by their restaurant location this week. First the food. My friend and I ordered the "Carnotaurus". He said it was wonderful, and I have to agree. One taco was all either of us needed because they are LARGE, and so good! There were also sauces and toppings to add on at the little bar, and I got some of the cilantro ranch stuff which paired nicely with the taco. The service: A+. The lady taking our orders was so sweet, and she even ran to the back to get more cilantro ranch because the bottle was out when I got there. We got our orders quickly, and were not disappointed. The location: Decent parking available and a very modern atmosphere inside. There's a few small tables as well as one large table in a center for a big party of people. The dino theme is cute and the punny names are fun! The bathroom was VERY clean. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice meaty taco with great service and a fun theme. read more

I got a quesadilla with no pico. Of course they put tons of pico on it. when I got home it was all soggy and gross.

There food is awesome! The service and employees were great. I highly recommend this place.

This place has the best service out of any restaurant I've been to. The food has great portions giving lot of meat unlike chipotle who barely give you meat. The ambiance was awesome. read more

Great street tacos! They catered my business and that's how I heard of them and they're fantastic

We had Jurassic Tacos cater an office birthday party and they were fantastic! The food was delicious! There was something for everyone! Some loved the carne asada, others loved the chicken but my favorite was the Al Pastor with the pineapple! The staff was super friendly and easy to work with. Will for sure use them for future events!! read more
