I've been to Jupiter Moon numerous times, and have also had their catering the same amount times. Every experience with Jupiter Moon has been positive. Particularly the customer service. They've always been so friendly, helpful, and seem excited to be there. It's much appreciated. But everybody is wondering about the ice cream. The ice cream is almost always good. They are quite experimental and candidly - some of the flavors don't always work. They make it all in-house and you have to applaud the effort and willingness to try new things. The space is always clean and nicely kept, and it's quite aesthetically pleasing anywhere you look. Street parking can be tough to come by depending on the time of year. But there is a parking lot across the street that can be used after business hours. Try the Saturday Morning Cartoons and come back and try the new flavors sometime. read more

Great flavors; they've got stuff that will amuse the adults but others that will satisfy the kids' need for something basic. What I don't like: No samples! For a place that does fancy flavors, the ability to taste before you buy is essential. They do say they'll refund it if you don't like it, but that's not the same. No basic cones! The only thing you can get is a huge waffle cone. Sometimes you just want a regular sugar cone or something small. read more

Right when I walked in I could smell the fresh waffle cones! I loved the decor - very on par for space and fitting with the name! We ended up getting an ice cream flight and pup ups! Dogs were able to sit on the patio. Super calming environment and love how you can use them for events. read more

I never leave reviews but feel compelled to help prevent you from making the same mistake we did. First, the positives - store was very clean, employees super nice and welcoming! The negatives - between a group of us, we tried 6 flavors. Not one of them was worth eating more than a single spoonful. Heavy use of extracts resulting in artificially tasting flavors. Lemon tasted like cleaning fluid smells, caramel was fake, mango/pineapple - little flavor and what was there resembled banana. Literally threw all of them away after we each tasted a single spoonful. Don't waste your time or money! read more

I attend the school nearby and this is our go to ice cream shop! We love that they bring such fun house made flavors throughout the seasons which entice us to keep coming back. I have a friend that has a nut and dairy allergy which is so awesome that she can have a sweet treat with all of us, super accommodating! An OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD ice cream shop! The atmosphere and overall ambience of the shop is simply delightful- especially in the evening when their neon lights are on in the windows. The flavor choices are variegated and rotating, so I like to check back occasionally to see what new ones they have. They also have vegan/gluten free/dairy free flavors. The staff is great- the owner of the store is an absolute gem and will tell you anything you want to know about ice cream. This store is not a chain, rather, it's a local business where ice cream is actually made on location (with some local ingredients!) which means the prices are little higher, but it's well worth it. We were in town visiting our relatives (who have a bunch of kids) so we thought we ride our bikes in and get ice cream. All of us were excited to try the unique flavors and to my surprise really all 8 of picked different flavors.. and you know what? Not one of us loved the flavor or texture. It was something throughout all the ice cream we couldn't put a finger on it. Like chaulky and some ice creams you could barely taste the flavor. The 10 year old said "this has no flavor". Ok, not great. Another reviewer mentioned chalky and unfortunately, that was the case for the cookies and cream. I actually used a spoon to throw that scoop off. The strawberry ice cream was better. It might be Jupiter, but tastes like it came from Uranus! Okay that's maybe a bit harsh but, it was so bad! We tried 6 flavors and no one took more then one tiny bite! The flavors sound and look great but, they do not taste great...or even good! They taste as though they are flavored with extracts, very fake tasting and leave a horrible aftertaste. Just had the Chocolate ice cream with Cinnamon. Too much cinnamon in it! It was burning my mouth. They should revisit this recipe.
