I chose this company based on their claim that they recycle as much as possible and have partnerships with a number of national charities. While there was some "junk" in the stuff they removed from the house, there was also, in my opinion, items that would have been taken by one of the named charities. I paid over $500.00 for the truck and two men who were very polite, hard working and efficient. I paid an additional $315.00 for the dumping fee so you can imagine my surprise when that $315.00 didn't cover the entire dumping fee and my card was charged another $40.00. As instructed by the removal guys, I emailed the company and requested a receipt which didn't arrive. It took 2 more calls to get the invoice. After some more research it appeared that the charges for this service were somewhat higher than others in the removal business. I called and left a message (you can never get anyone on the phone when you call them). Again, no response. I sent an email outlining my concerns and no response. I would have escalated this to a "Head Office" but they don't identify where that is located or provide any contact under than the general info@junksquad.ca In my opinion, the after service I have received from this company is dismal and the epitome of bad customer service. I would not recommend this company and if you are looking for inexpensive junk removal, hire a dumptser from Tomlinson and a couple of guys from Kijiji to do the heavy lifting. I wish I had! read more
