I had to do it because my belongings were in a storage unit, and the storage facility wouldn't allow ABF to drop the trailer on their property. I saved enough to cover the cost of the Uhaul and labor to move our stuff from the storage unit facility to the ABF yard.

I live in an apartment complex so parking is at a premium. When you reserve a pod, they offer to connect you with a moving company. Make sure you compare prices because it may be cheaper to not use their recommendation--at least that was the case with me. Tip: depending on what day you move (friday vs. earlier in the week) the price varies. Also, if you book online, you receive a $25 discount.

I have dealt with a few moving companies in my years. These guys were the best by far in my book…read more We were making a 2 hour move of my grandmother's things with basically short notice. We were arriving on Sunday and moving Tuesday morning. My mom has called a few times from the east coast and had general information. Damon came to us on Sunday and went over things with her so she understood what would be happening and pricing. On Monday 2 very professional looking gents arrived and in a few short hours helped us pack up a TON of stuff. Everything was wrapped and packed better then I would have been able to in such a short time. We had so many boxes around in a small area it was hard to move and keep packing. They also were able to help take some things off the walls as we had no tools in the place. Damon called later that afternoon to ensure we were ready to go as we could be and see if there was anything we needed more help with. I thought that was great and never have I had that type of service before. Tuesday morning they arrived at 8AM on the dot. The 2 men that were to come and pack the truck arrived as well as Damon and Mr. Adams to help get the truck packed. I could not believe how quickly that had everything done. In the space of less then an hour they had the entire apartment cleared out and packed in the truck. Everything was handled with the utmost care and kindness. They even brought special packing materials to ensure that a very old grandfather clock was moved with out incident. It was very nice to see our family history being cared for so delicately. They knew we were short on time and help to get the little bit of garbage left in the apartment bagged up so I could get it to the dumpster before we left. We made the 2 hour drive and the same amount of care that was taken to load was taken while unloading and putting into our storage unit. They were careful to make sure to keep certain things in the places we wanted them so they could be accessed when needed for grandmother's new residence. I would recommend them again and again to anyone who asks. I wish they had been here in Denver when I needed movers as I have several times over the years. Thank you Damon, Jerry, Blake and Mr. Adams for your help. Tip: Make sure you keep your garbage bags out; you may need them to clean up after all your stuff is moved out. We were told by the manager that the movers knew how to pack fragile and expensive items such as…read moreoriginal paintings, bronze sculptures, glass items, etc. What a joke! They used many wardrobe boxes to save time and simply threw everything imaginable into these boxes. No paper, bubble wrap or any type of protection in these boxes. So far, I have found two framed prints with the glass broken. They slammed original paintings together with nothing in between to protect them. Light bulbs were broken because they simply took them out of the lamps and threw them in the boxes and placed heavy objects on top of them. Bronze sculptures were treated the same! We also have some valuable items missing including a cell phone and will hopefully find by the time we unpack the last box, but am worried since they didn't show up in the container they were placed in. I would never recommend Two Men And A Truck for moving!
