I booked Junk Busters online and was able to get their help on short notice. I had a massive storage unit I had purchased at auction, and another unit used to place trash, items for donation & recycle and needed all 'the big stuff', old mattresses, couches, rear projection TV and about a hundred bags of trash we had sorted removed. Steve looked at the units and gave me an estimate based on a full truck load. As it happened, the amount of stuff was greater than a truck load, and he still happily honored his original quote. They were running a little late for arrival, which I understand is unusual for them, but Steve kept me informed by phone so I wasn't left wondering where they were. He and his helper, Scott, made quick work of the project and were both extremely courteous and cheerful. They even swept the units clean afterwards. I would definitely use them again. I know this might sound extreme but our experience with Junk Busters was truly life changing. We had a hot tub and old playscape in our backyard that we never used, had fallen into disrepair and every time we looked back there it would bring us down. We finally decided to do something about it and called Junk Busters. Every step of the way they let us know exactly what to expect, what to do and the quote they gave over the phone was almost exactly what it came to when they arrived. The actual day of removal was very smooth and easy.. at least on my end! Jake, Steve and Jacob worked their tails off and I am still not sure how they got the hot tub out of the yard and into the truck through our small gate. I can't rate these guys any higher, amazing and yes... life changing. I used Junk Busters a few days ago to move a mattress and box spring from my house near the Arboretum in Northwest Austin. I saw they were the closest company of their kind up here. I spontaneously also had them pick up an old grill, toilet, and old mailbox with footer. Their pricing was very fair and I appreciated them being flexible and fair with the extra items I added on the fly. Overall, I feel I received great service for a great price and would use them again. The young men (Chandler and Irving) that came out were very friendly, professional, and efficient. Shay, from the Junk Busters office, even followed up with me on the phone afterwards to make sure I was satisfied with the quality of the service. I want to tell everyone about the level of service I received from Junk Busters USA. I recently had a tenant move out of my rental home and he had left a good amount of junk in the back yard including an old BBQ, some lumber, a basketball stand (10 ft stand) a plastic compost box that was falling apart and some other things. I could have rented a trailer and spent a day hauling it off but I chose to call Junk Busters instead. I'm glad I did. They came out when they said they would, they went above and beyond by disassembling the compost box, picking up trash that was on the way to the back yard (the junk was in the in the backyard) and washing the driveway off when they were done all for a very reasonable price. I wish all the other companies I used to get this home ready for another tenant were as awesome great as Junk Busters. read more

Hi! I used this company after I moved to Austin to remove some left over junk. All looked ok until they told me how much it was going to cost based on the space the junk would take on the truck. It seemed fine but when they were finished they bill me for more than they told me so I looked in the truck and the space used was less than what they had estimated! I was upset because the price was higher and the space was lower than they told me. I asked for a discount and they would not budge, I asked for a supervisor and was told none was available. Very frustrating, I went ahead and paid because they were going to dump the stuff from their green truck on my driveway if I did not pay. The guys were rude and looked like "white trash". I found them on the internet and called them to get more information. The employee who answered the phone, Melissa, was very friendly and answered all my questions thoroughly and knowledgeably. I deal with a lot of businesses on the phone but I have never dealt with someone so warm and caring over the phone before. A real break from the unfriendly robots out there in the real world. My appointment went very well. The two gentlemen that came out were professional and helpful and took good care of me. Got all my stuff out of my way and donated it to some charities for me. A very nice company, and a very nice experience dealing with their employees. They really did a great job. Far different than most customer "service" that's out there nowadays. Wow! We are repeat customers, & they are just the best. Sold our house, estate sale was a bust, closing deadline was approaching, and there was still junk everywhere, most of it not sorted or packed in boxes. They took care of every bit of it in under 4 hours, working past 6 pm without complaint! Steve spent 2 hours dismantling a huge, heavy, 15-year-old treadmill so they could bring it down the stairs -- it was simply amazing! Steve answered all my questions right away, and his guys were very careful to take away exactly what I pointed out -- from unpacked glassware to cinder blocks to heavy old plant pots! My junk is busted!! Trying to move out of state can be a huge hassle, especially without a car. After donations and packing I had this sizable pile of stuff I either didn't know how to dispose of or was too heavy to move. Junk busters made the appointment process easy and we managed to confirm my appointment even though I had some phone service struggles the day before. Junk Busters just made our lives a lot easier! We are moving out of our house after almost 26 years, and had quite an accumulation of, well, junk! Jake and Steve were very efficient and good-natured about moving heavy items downstairs, as well as getting a number of large boxes and heavy rolls of carpet from the attic on a 95-degree day. Just wanted to say Amy was fantastic!!! She came to my house and did a cold door knock, and asked if I would be interested in selling my house. I told her I had been thinking and praying about it for some time. Then she just appeared. It was perfect timing. We ended up selling our home, and purchasing acreage simultaneously. I used the Junk Busters website to arrange for junk removal, and got the $15.00 discount. I got a call from Steve, about an hour after I submitted the order. He answered all of my questions and said the date and time I had in mind was no problem. I told him there was one flight of stairs to get to the junk and he said no problem. On the day of the haul, I got a call 30 minutes before they showed up, as promised. Hired Junk Busters to finish the clean out on a home that we were selling. When they realized that they were going to be a late arriving, due to traffic, we received a phone call with their ETA. They removed all of the furniture, had the garage cleaned out and even swept up after they were done. These guys were great to work with! They were quick to respond - within 2 days of calling, all my junk had been hauled away (just in time for the holidays!). They were very professional - they called before arriving, and once they got here, together we surveyed everything that needed to be hauled off. After a phone call on Thursday (and an offer to pick up on Friday), we agreed on a Monday morning clean up. A quote was given and work was started. The guys, James and Scott, were efficient and professional. They worked around some inconveniently placed appliances and swept up afterwards. I cannot tell you how great this company is. This was my second time using these guys, and they were outstanding. When I first moved into my house the previous owner left a TON of junk behind. It was not fun and would have taken me forever to do it myself. Both times they have come out here right away, even when I have waited until the last minute to contact them.
