Have visited a few times since moving to the area and would highly recommend. Is a little on the more expensive side, but the food, drinks, service worth it! Can get a little louder at times but overall the restaurant has managed to have an upscale vibe while still feeling homey. Seasonal menu makes me excited to go back and try other offerings as they arrive.

To start! Or waiter was absolutely on the mark with anything and everything we needed! To the setting and mood, was dim but not too dim, with a lovely open space smaller, but was very quiet and relaxing as well! The food was also really well put together and tasty! The salmon wasn't my favorite, but the starter and the dessert... I wish I took pictures of... the coconut cake I want to say it was. ABSOLUTE AMAZING!!

Came here for our anniversary. Had reservations for 5:30 on Friday night. Showed up a couple minutes early and snagged the last parking spot. This place makes you feel special. We had a lovely table on the second floor. Appetizer: Chicken Pot Pie Croquettes are delicious two bite sized fried balls with a dollop of creamy goodness on top. These are so tasty. Snake River Farms American Wagyu Denver Steak is sliced thin and served with dipping sauce. They recommend it's best served rare. It was a bit too marbled for my liking. Next time I would get the Brasstown Beef Filet Mignon. Seared Diver Scallops: only two, though big and very good. Brussels Sprouts: best I've ever had! Dessert: Peach Pie Sundae. Is a deconstructed pie a'la mode. Black Pearl Cab Sav from South Africa. Server: Taylor is so friendly and helpful. She guided us through the menu. We dressed up but there were people dressed casually as well. It's a very nice place for dinner for all occasions.

Favorite restaurant in the Tri-Cities area. Food was delicious, full of unique flavors- I would've ordered anything on the menu - they know how to put together a plate. Service- the host was friendly, professional. Our waitress thoroughly explained the menu and was very knowledgeable and kind. Ambience- what a cute restaurant. the decor and atmosphere are lovely.

Juniper is an amazing restaurant! Johnson City is so incredibly lucky to have such talented chefs sharing their love for food that rivals any big foodie city . The waitstaff is passionate about the food and the specials and every dish is meticulously prepared. I can't wait to go back and sample other items on the menu. I am a new orleans native and I love Juniper!

An elevated food experience for the tricities. Easy reservation process and courtesy call about an hour in advance to check if we had any special needs or allergies. We had an early dinner (5:15) but were seated promptly at our reservation time. The attentiveness of the waitress slipped some as other tables started arriving. Great menu to choose from and several mouthwatering specials. Duck breast was perfectly cooked and flavored.

This is my second time at Juniper and it was once again wonderful. Coming from someone who's lived in East TN my whole life, the quality and unique blend of flavors with this food is above most places in the area. It's real neat to have a "fine dining" place like this in Johnson City!

10/10 Incredible three course meal and service. Brought big inflatable balloons for the birthday girl #60 and celebrated like nothing else! Had a classier atmosphere with high energy.

This is my mom's favorite restaurant. It is the best restaurant and most modern culinarily that I have been to in the tri cities. The Gnuddi and focaccia was amazing. The chicken was just meh, but the construction on the speciality fish dish was amazing and truly highlighted summer corn but the fish felt a bit like an after thought. It was so so good though. If you come you must order: gnuddi, and the bread. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The servers were super attentive and so helpful with their recommendations!

Celebrating our wedding anniversary at Juniper was an excellent recommendation from a friend! Glad I made the reservation in advance since they book up quickly, and I understand why. Great staff, everything was delicious, and it was a cozy environment that allowed us to still talk throughout the various courses of our meal.

This place was close to where we were having dinner at so we walked over to the place. Just walk in to the building and someone will greet you and they'll take you behind the bookshelf where you can't seat yourself. We took some of the low seats. Nothing wrong with that we were greeted with water so we had to decide what we wanted to drink. Highly recommend that you use your phone since the menus are QR code. Prices were pretty fair for the speakeasy. Restrooms were absolutely clean. A few things I noticed that kind of dropped a few Stars was that the Speakeasy was absolutely cold!It had to be about 60° inside. It took a long time for us to be served. Lastly, I noticed some of the staff drinking behind the bar. People here are absolutely friendly , you got all walks of life here and everyone here is having a great time. The staff are dressed for the occasion and it does feel intimate being inside this speakeasy. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back here again. After leaving, you leave through the back door. I do believe that the prices were a bit High compared to other visits of speakeasies I've been to but that's more so on Tennessee's part for the way they Factor checks.

It was early afternoon and busy, so we sat at the bar to save time. When we looked at the menu, we thought everything looked pricey but figured it would be worth it. We ordered the namesake dishes: the Chicken Bella Vita for me and the Veal Bella Vita for my husband. Wait staff was very nice and indicated it was a good choice. We also ordered a bottle of wine (way overpriced for what it was). The bread and the extra olive oil dip we ordered were delicious, as were the salads. Then we waited. And waited. Over an hour after finishing our salads, the entrees finally arrived. I'm patient with holiday crowds, but no place should take this long. When the food arrived, I was not impressed by the portions for a $25.99 entree, but I hoped the taste would make up for it. It didn't. There was no taste at all! It was supposed to be a champagne sauce, but it tasted like flavorless biscuit gravy with no salt--and no cheese was offered to help it out. My 'Bella Vita' plate had only about 2 bites of chicken, 3 shrimp, and a few pieces of artichoke with some sun-dried tomatoes. I get that poor planning can make a holiday meal prep a challenge, but we paid full price--over $100 for two people before tip. We won't be returning.
