My wife had a stroke back in June and I needed to build an addition to our back porch, and a ramp for a wheelchair. I wish I could remember the mans name that helped me. He sat on the right as you walked up to the counter. I'm not a contractor, just your average diy guy. All I had were the dimensions of my project. This man took the time to help me with every single item I needed down to every nut and bolt and why one was better than the other one for my project. After paying for my materials, all I had to do was pull into the lumber yard and everything was loaded onto my truck for me. All quality lumber and great service. Customer for life!!! My contractor advised me to contact David R regarding a small problem with a large order. I called the store who gave me his mobile number. I called twice. He didn't answer or return either message. I made one trip to the store where a young gentleman told me he ordered the missing item because I offered to pay for it. When I stopped by weeks later to check on the status, he said that David would have to approve even though I was willing to pay. That made no sense to me. All roads lead to David, and they are dead ends. You may wonder why I didn't just go elsewhere. I wanted everything to match. Sigh. read more

Integrity is lacking. Thousands of dollars in lumber for a new home build, and they are hiding ROTTED WOOD at the bottom of the stacks. Not just wet, but ROTTED. They provided hundreds of dollars worth of material that was already showing signs of DRY ROT, including flowering "fruiting body", mycelium (different forms, including the veining of fungi Coniophora puteana and Coniophora marmorata). I used to think that Juniors was a reputable company, but them having placed good wood on top of this very obviously bad wood can only be deliberate. Contractor told me this is not the first time he has seen this from them. I cannot recommend anything other than to stay AWAY from this supplier. read more

We are quite disappointed in their customer service. It took 3 weeks instead of 2 to receive trusses that were incorrect due to Jason's wrong calculations. THEN it took another 3 weeks to receive the correct ones; pushing our time line by a month! Not one apology for their error or the inconvenience. In addition they managed to deliver the wrong drip edge, not once, or twice, but THREE times. We ordered brown, and all 3 times they delivered white even though every piece of paperwork stated brown. Again, not one apology. We finally asked for a refund for the drip edge since we weren't willing to wait for a 4th delivery of yet a possible incorrect item. They didn't even have a mailing address to send the refund! So of course WE had to contact THEM yet again. Sadly all this was handled by Jason Boehm, the owners son. read more
