I got there 5 minutes late for my square up appointment and sign up and had to wait for 20 minutes and another client arrived after me and was attended before me. I am so glad I found Jungle Cuts!! They did so great with my one year old. They kept him entertained and talked to him so sweetly. The stylist even put pieces of his hair locks in a bag and filled out a card for me since it was my babies first hair cut. I'll be coming here for his cuts! They even have a video game set up for older kids! They have cars they can sit in or an air plane while they get their cut to keep them entertained. So AWESOME! read more

We brought our one year old for his very first hair cut. Dora has amazing patience with squirmy tiny tots, plus more than a handful of tricks up her sleeve to keep them distracted and happy. She also took the time to show him the clippers and other equipment so he wouldn't be scared. All in all, it was quick and pretty painless, and she managed to give him a nice even trim despite him moving around the whole time. We got a certificate for his first haircut with a little hair trimming as a keepsake (Dora gave us 2 extra too, for the grandmas). We were very pleased and we will definitely be back! read more

This place is amazing! My son (20 months) had a cut few weeks ago at another salon and had a terrible experience and ended up with a chili bowl. I was desperate to get it fixed. These ladies were so good with him, he was scared at first but after a few minutes started enjoying the tv and jeep chair. He didn't cry at all and we love the cut. They are amazing with kids! The store was clean and bad so many toys in the waiting area. Will def come back! read more

I've taken both my kids here for their first (and subsequent) haircuts, including my 7 month old son, and always had good experiences. Dora is friendly, great with kids, and works quickly. The shop is nice and isn't fussy or trendy - just my speed. We've always had appointments during the day when the shop was pretty empty with no wait. My only suggestion to them would be to keep the TVs off unless a client requests it. I totally get that a lot of kids need the distraction, but having several TVs playing different shows is a lot. That being said, I just asked Dora to turn ours off and she was happy to oblige. Will definitely keep coming here! read more

Took my 9 month old son for his first haircut based on all the awesome reviews, but it wasn't a great experience for us. My son had the cutest waves/curls and now his hair is a complete mess. I asked Alicia for just the tips off, but she went ahead and cut about 2 inches! So his hair has no sort of style. It can't be tamed because his hair is wavy/curly. I can't even part it. She never looked to see where his part was and she gave him extra layers so it's just a mess and I'm so so so sad about it. I know she was in a rush because while cutting his hair she was asking the other stylist if she was ready to go so that they could get outta there. We arrived at 6 and they close at 7. I wish she took her time on him because honestly she was just grabbing chunks all around of his hair and cutting it. Very disappointed. read more

This place is awesome. The barber was fantastic. We took our two year old who hates getting haircuts. He initially didn't want to get in the chair, but after a little coercion hopped into the Jeep. From there the TV and steering wheel kept him distracted while the barber anticipated every quick head jerk and movement. She didn't get agitated at all and did an amazing job. Let me start off by saying the lady (I believe the owner) was very sweet and fixed my 2 girl's hair very nicely when she finished. Unfortunately she cut my older girl's hair quite a bit shorter than we said. I asked for about her armpit and it is currently hitting her collar bone. My younger daughter was getting her first haircut and got a very nice certificate. We asked for her hair to be all the same length and as long as it could be. The lady trimmed a little everywhere and more from the bang area than we had agreed. She also kept trying to get my son to get his hair cut there, but since he is older we can get his done cheaper at the local barber shop. I hate writing a negative review, but I wish I had known before I went. read more

Thank goodness these ladies opened a salon for kids! They were spectacular. They were so skilled at distracting my son, who typically has a total meltdown when we have to get a haircut.
