Love jungle babes! I bought this very beautiful, very strong philodendron pastazanum at lakeline farmers market, and it has been growing strong and healthy! Jungle babes has a wide variety of rare plants from pastazanum to monstera albo to Florida ghost, and they are very reasonably priced!! I have always been recommending the store to local Facebook groups and for my own plant fetish . Keep up the good work!! Will keep buying from you!

Tetrasperma I got in Nov. 2020. It had 4 leaves and as you can see has doubled and has 3 new babies coming!

One of my favorite things to do at the farmers market @ Lakeline is to visit the Jungle Babes tent! They have the most beautiful plants and pots. They also are reasonably priced because the plant is already in a pot so no work to be done to replant! I have purchased about 5 plants from them in the last few months and they are THRIVING! They are also super responsive on Instagram if you have any questions! Can't wait to visit this weekend and buy more plant babies!

All three of these beauties are from Jungle Babes!

I purchased several plants from their booth at the Lakeline Farmer's Market and they are all beautiful! The hand made pots they came in are gorgeous and people often comment on them when they see them in my home. The soil mixture they use is top notch and all of my plants are thriving! As someone who regularly goes to many Austin nurseries, I was stoked to find that the selection the Jungle Babes offered were unique... I was even able to score several plants I've never even seen available at other places! Highly recommend!

If it is, I don't wanna be right…read more I recently became interested in planting stuff, but everything would grow like those wretched lil' mer-people in Ursala's cave (Little Mermaid reference). Through various conversations, I realized that my soil was as devoid of nutrients as Kim K is of charisma and talent. I decided to seek out help at Far South Wholesale nursery (I'll write a review on them later 'cuz they rock too). Unfortunately, they didn't have what I needed. They suggested I check out Garden-ville and I'm so glad they did! Any soil you need, they have. They are informative, helpful, kind, efficient, and will even tell you some hilarious puns if you let them. They take the time to explain and educate that you wish your primary physician would. I learned, in detail and with orderly steps, what I needed to do to make my lawn and garden beds healthy again. Did I mention they have two beautiful cats??? And the soil....I'm considering buying a truck just so I can purchase their stuff in bulk. It's beautiful. It's alive. It smells like nature. The prices are shockingly good too. I used to purchase crap soil off amazon or from Home depot at 2-3x the cost and half the quality. NO MORE MY FRIENDS. I'm ride or die for Garden-ville.

Their mulch is made on-site, so there is no middle man. In fact, I believe that everything is packaged on- site. They have a complex of over a thousand acres, so it's deceiving when you see the small shop. Plus, this place has been in business since the 1970's, and is family owned.

Loved the plants my fiancée and I got from here before. We shopped here in 2024 but our original…read moreplants died because of home flooding. My fiancée was excited to treat me to some replacement plants from the store that stated it all and got me a gift card. We drove up to Plant Party last weekend and were shocked to find out that the brick and mortar store that used to be there is completely empty. This was pretty confusing to us because the website said absolutely nothing about this status of the store changing. Neither do any of their social media platforms. We drove home disappointed and my fiancée reached out to the store owner to ask about how we could get our plants because my store gift card was for the in-person store. We were informed that we could either get a refund or use the credit on the gift card towards the online store. Unfortunately, the options on the site were pretty limited and the store online has a 75 dollars order limit, which was more than we were intending to spend (hence the 50 dollar gift card). As such, my partner decided to reach out again to try and get her refund. It has been several days and several attempts of contacts later and we have heard nothing. So my partner has filed a claim with her credit card company. To say we are extremely disappointed with the service is an understatement. We really had such fond memories of Plant Party prior to this, but this entire situation has definitely soured our opinion. Update: We have still not received our refund, and we were never communicated with that the refund would be going through until I posted this review. I feel like there is a general struggle with communication. I understand that business close and go, but based off of their social media and the website, one would not think that the store was closed and that led to multiple issues on our end. We drove all the way to Austin to try and support a business we both enjoyed just to find an empty store. Clarity would have been greatly appreciated.
