I liked the historic atmosphere, the available games, the long bar and the tasty food during my visit. The menu included baskets of fried foods, tacos and burgers. I found the ground beef tacos with rice and beans to be delicious, with great portions and a reasonable (for Alaska) price. The interior offered two dining areas, a lengthy bar, a pool table, two dart boards, a rollup garage door, a food counter and several TVs. I found the service at the food counter to be welcoming and helpful, while the service at the bar was merely accommodating. Overall, it was a good experience at a historic bar.

Great place to hang out with locals and avoid 'boat people'. Unfortunately, like most dive bars, the beer on tap sucks. It's mostly Alaskan Brewing which I think is an extremely boring brewery. As I have done multiple contracts in Alaska, I decided that I'd like to catch a movie I'd wanted to see so I caught the public bus and came here. Polite and friendly teenagers greeted me and sold me the ticket and another sold me my popcorn and soda which I paid with my debit card. Prices were about the same as back home in Charleston, SC. But both smiling teens I talked to said "Enjoy your movie!" The screen I was at here had better seats than Ketchikan's theater and while I am not overweight, I still had room in the seat and was comfortable. The seats seemed newer and had plenty of spring to them. All in all a nice theater! If I was looking for something to do on a chilly rainy day, I'd come back!
