The crust ruins the pizza. It's almost like a frozen stale crust is used. No crispy golden edges on these slices.

Has a shrine--not even kidding, an actual shrine!--to Trump which includes an insulting picture of Biden and uses vulgar language. I would not bring kids there. Beyond that, the bakery which is all made with the same basic pie crust that does *not* use butter, but instead is made with palm oil and leaves that hard grease mouthfeel. There was burnt loaves of bread behind glass, and a burnt pie also behind glass. I don't think they can cook everything they think they can. Overall not worth the trip, and better to go to the coffee shop downtown, or else to the local grocery for bakery. read more

Best lunch deal around. For $5 you get two cheeseburgers or two hot dogs or two mini subs. You can mix and have a burger with dog or sub et cetera and comes with a soup! Good treats too! read more

First off, these guys aren't that old pizza place it use to be "Patheleon" or whatever it was called. The bakery that is on the other side of the building kinda sorta took it over and also started making pizza and roast beef sandwiches and subs and all kinds of other stuff you wouldn't expect from a pizza place. I've been quite pleased with them. I know I'm a BBQ reviewer but I gotta give this place a shout. They do have a rack of Ribs on the menu. Honestly it was pretty good. I'm not expecting them to have a smokehouse operation in the back but for what it was I was pleased. Pizza is kinda hit or miss depending on who you are. I can say that their dough is AWESOME! But their sauce is weird and not very flavorful. It looks and feels like a great pizza but the taste needs a bit of work. Still Way better than most local pizza joints. Gotta get a fresh za from them though. Don't get the slices, I don't know why they are insistent on serving 8 day old slices. Might be a Sicilian thing, Idk. Haven't tried everything yet but for the most part these guys are pretty good. I really enjoy their breakfast and breakfast sandwiches. The bakery counter is a bonus. read more

Just went here tonight for the first time for pizza. Here are my thoughts: 1. Have a menu people can take home. At the very least, put it online. The "we can make almost everything" shtick isn't smart for a new business. 2. Prices are too high for specialty pizza and subs. This isn't Shrewsbury Street in Worcester. It's Ayer, and a 9 dollar sub with 4 dollar fries is a bit much for a pizza place. 3. There is way too much dough and not enough cheese on the pizza. I got extra cheese and it was barely enough for a regular cheese pizza. 4. Toppings are too sparse. If this place is trying to cut costs out of the gate by skimping on cheese and toppings, they won't last. 5. Lay off the oregano in the sauce. Way too much, it's overwhelming. Overall, there's better and/or cheaper pizza in the area. I'd try Pizza Bella, Verona, or Sorrento's instead. read more

New place in town with a somewhat different an unique menu so thought I'd try it out. My go to at any new place is a steak and cheese with mayo and an order of french fries. So I got the steak n cheese torpedo and the only size fry they have. Unimpressed. Especially for the money. At $8.50 I expected a hefty size sub. Nope, I've gotten smalls for with more meat for much less. Not to mention that the fry box had about 15 fries in it (for $3.85 mind you). Fries were meh at best. Steak was meh as well. I will say it was pretty cheesy. I might try the pizza just for the sake of it, but would not recommend to anyone. Sad. Was hoping it was good. Hopefully they get it together because I like the variety in the menu. read more

Gave this place a second chance tonight and was more disappointed than the first time. We ordered a teriyaki rice bowl which I would have assumed to be grilled chicken like it is everywhere .. nope. A chicken patty cut up and covered in teriyaki sauce. Not even a good chicken patty at that. Move on to the next item. Buffalo chicken calzone.. open the box, looks different than any other calzone I've had but promising .. cut a slice out, it's a chicken patty again !! The bread part was pretty good, but the cheese was barely melted, the buffalo was super bland and after asking for ranch on the phone and in the shop at pickup they still didn't put it in the bag i hate to say it but they should have stuck with just the bakery business which i must say is delicious. If this quality keeps up they aren't going to last much longer read more

Tried Junction for the first time the other night. Ordering a half cheese, half pepperoni and green pepper pizza. Pizza was very good and crust was delicious. Adequate amount of toppings. If you like a thicker crust, I highly recommend. We will certainly be ordering from Junction again! read more

Tried this place for the first time tonight. It was great! Tasty fresh food, my calzone looked almost as good as it tasted. The Junction special steak sub was creative and yummy. My kids devoured their sub, which is saying a lot because they are fussy eaters. The service was prompt, friendly, and the employees were very sociable. This may be my new go to local place. read more

The best pizza place in Ayer. Excellent BLT subs, and they also have delicious fried dough that tastes just like fair fried dough.
