If you need movers who actually know what they're doing and won't break your stuff, book them. 10/10 would recommend. Excellent service.

Paid the down payment and brought a physical copy of the receipt like my mom wanted it. He suggested that we do it early because he had another move, said that we would start at nine. Day of, no call , text or noticed that he was going to be a hour late. We call him 15 minutes after the actual time he was supposed to come and he came with the excuse " oh you didn't get my message I text you I'm running late, I'll be there at 10" to find out that he never even text my mother and he texted the wrong number. Also said It would be three guys, but it was pretty much only him because he admitted that he literally picked up a crackhead last minute to help him move because his other two guys got drunk last night!!! So it was just him and my sister and me helping him move! We went an hour and 30 minutes just to get charged extra because HE DIDN'T HAVE THE PROPER HELP THAT HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO HAVE and Had A CRACKHEAD TO COME HELP MY MOTHER MOVE AND be in her space. Needless to say completely unprofessional and not prepared, this is a one man business and doesn't have reliable employees. Pay more and go with someone else !!

He quoted me $150 to move a refrigerator and a few items out of my garage. After I sent a deposit of $75. He wanted me to send him photos and measurements of the refrigerator. He told me he didn't think it would fit. Long story short, he asked me to remove the doors myself!!!! I knew I couldn't remove them myself. I ended up canceling this company. He promised to refund the money minus the square fee then didn't refund all the money taking $20 for "his time." After some rude, unprofessional text messages exchanges... he returned the money.

Before I give this review of my horrible moving experience from Texas to Arizona, I would like to…read morethank Sarah and Dustin for their attempts to help in this situation. Moving long distance is never easy but my experience was unacceptable and included a DOT Violation 49 CFR § 375.703 which I will explain below. On January 6th, Leo and two teenagers showed up in an Enterprise Truck that carried another load to load my items from Corpus Christi, TX. Before Leo arrived he sent me alarming text messages asking "if I lived on a military base" because his helpers looked really young and he wasn't sure if they had a record. Red flag #1. I should also start by saying I used Americas First Moving who is a broker that I WILL NEVER use again also due to their poor assistance which is how Pack & Go was selected. When Leo and team did arrive, almost an hour after their initial time given. I was met with unprofessionalism to include being told that it could take up to 30 days for my items to arrive, that American Moving Services was crap and that Leo did not trust his helpers. Yes, I did read my contract and was aware this was a possibility of up to 30 days, however when I spoke to America's First Moving they had assured me of a certain delivery day. They of course threw the contract back at me so I asked for my call to be pulled if it was recorded. American Moving also did not provide me with the payment terms (deposit, then 2nd payment could be cash or card with a 5% processing fee, and that final payment had to be cash or money order. These payment terms were provided to me once I had signed my contract (which I expressed to Brian Malone who was the representative that I worked) that this is bad business to let me know after signing. This information should have been communicated prior. Once my items were loaded by Pack & Go, I provided a first available delivery date of January 9th. I was excited to hear that my items were going to be delivered on January 13th. Here is where this becomes a nightmare. A different driver from Virginia named Eddie delivered my items and before he unloaded I had to give my cash amount of $1,246. I gave him $1,300 since I did not have change. This was when I realized that all of my items were not loaded from Pack & Go's Oklahoma warehouse. Again, I had to pay the full cash amount before my load could be unloaded (DOT Violation 49 CFR § 375.703). My items that were missing were: All of my sofa cushions (total of 6), three out of 4 dining room chairs, my custom side table, night stand, and holiday tote. I immediately called Pack & Go the next day to inform them and was told "I could not be provided with an ETA of when my items would be delivered because they needed to find a new driver and have a truck full that was coming back to Arizona." I understand needing to do what's best for business operations, however this was not my fault that my items were left. This required me to call daily for a status update until my missing items were delivered on January 31st. So from January 13-January 31st I had to deal with this with the pit in my stomach that I had paid in full and had to wait at minimum 30 days for any type of compensation which still never came for the inconvenience as I was told would happen due to all of this. I write this because I do not want anyone else to have to experience this. Maybe for local moves Pack & Go would be better but for long distance I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND using them if you'd like to have all of your items delivered at one time and without having some items damaged as well.

Two Men and a Truck in OKC, owned by Adam Mecke, are ABSOLUTELY the WORST movers in the OKC area…read more Also, Adam Mecke, is the rudest person ever and likes yelling at women clients. He runs a scam operation and sends out guys that have no moving experience. They did nothing that Lisa, in sales, said they would do. They didn't wrap mirrors or furniture, and broke and stole more items than I can count. Even tore a door off its frame. Their employees also prey on single women, by saying that they can cut the cost by renting a UHaul, which later they try to hold for ransom. I think the owner and office manager are behind this and use this tactic so they can refuse any claims. I would rate them a huge 0 if I could. Absolutely the worst moving company ever! DON'T USE! Oh also, they have good ratings on their website because when they know you have complaints, they will not allow you to post an honest review! They lock you out so you can't tell about the true side of this company. Continued: In response to Owner: Adam, the only things said to LaKeith was what Malcom, Chicago, and Big A said to say. Everything I said in my review is true. I never solicited them, they came to me with their scheme. I can give numerous names of my friends and neighbors that will confirm every word I've written and YOU and I both know it. Even the police report I filed against the men when they tried to hold the truck for ransom, will verify what I've said. As far as not paying them, I paid what they asked, 50.00 per hour per person, plus tips, and meals, and I have proof. If Malcom kept all of the money, then that is on him. He was the ringleader. Your employees became my nightmare when you sent them to my house. I expected reputable movers when I hired your company but instead you sent scammers to my house to move me. That's not on me. THAT IS ON YOU AND YOUR COMPANY! And I believe because of this that you should be responsible for all of the damage that they did. I never knew these guys before, and never want to see them again! THEY WERE SCAMMERS BUT THEY WERE YOUR EMPLOYEES! But I believe you already knew this! Also another correction, You only reached out once to find out what happened and only offered to pay for one broken lamp, nothing else, and you were screaming at me over the phone when you did this. Don't make it sound like you actually covered all of the damage and losses. PLEASE! Just be honest for once! You are right about one thing, though! I COULD NOT HAVE MADE THIS SHIT UP ABOUT YOUR COMPANY AND YOUR EMPLOYEES!! YOUR COMPANY IS THE WORST! TOTAL SCAM ARTIST! ADVISE TO EVERYONE, DO NOT USE!!!

Thunder Moving - Got it done in record time!

    Thunder Moving

    (43 reviews)

I had a very good experience with Thunder Moving…read more I had already gotten quotes from several companies when I messaged Kye on Yelp. I am glad I switched for a few reasons. 1) Some other moving companies charge you from the time their truck leaves their own building to the time they get back to their own building, which makes zero sense. Thunder Moving only charges you for time the guys spend actually moving, down to the minute. 2) Kye responds basically instantly, most of the time within minutes. Communication was flawless, which is of insane importance on days where everything overlaps and needs to happen as smoothly as possible. 3) I told Kye I couldn't match an exact 2:00 PM window because I was closing on my house right at 1:00 PM and didn't know how long it would take. He said it was no problem and that he would let the team know. I happened to close early and messaged Kye and the moving team called me within like 20 minutes. 4) Clayton and Cade were very polite and professional. They had a trustworthy, small business demeanor and at no point did I feel uncomfortable in a series of potentially stressful/vulnerable situations. I immediately told them that I had one item I was worried about, a massive marble table that took me and my friends great effort to move. Clayton and Cade picked it up like a Ritz cracker and said that they could do it no problem. When placing the actual table at the new house, I initially wanted them to put it off-center to fit a side table in the dining room, but Cade said, "Do you want it under the light?" and I thought, "duh, he's right." I'm glad he said something cuz it would be a royal pain in my ass to move it later, even a few feet. Clayton seemed to have the leadership role and asked all the right questions and was very efficient with time and going over paperwork. He started the clock literally the minute they started moving so there was no "bloat" or an inflated price. He even slightly corrected a few minutes we had spent going over some things since the actual moving was done. Overall, he came across very knowledgeable and definitely has leadership potential. Cade was awesome too and super friendly. When I first saw them get out of the truck, I thought "man these guys are string beans," but actually they were super strong. At one point Cade was carrying a million pound object with just his fingers and had a facial expression like he was carrying a piece of paper. From the time the clock started to the time they were done, they were in constant movement. There was no slacking or breaks, not that I would have complained if they needed breaks. I'm just pointing out these two guys were super efficient. They made a plan for every object and communicated well between each other. Anyone who's moved knows that the planning part is the most important when trying to fit weird-shaped things through small doors and they made a great team. It would have taken me and my friends double the amount of time with triple the amount of headache. 5) The ending price was actually cheaper than I expected. There were no hidden fees, literally just the math of the hourly rate times the minutes used. I think maybe there were some minor charges for things like wrap or something, but I either didn't use it or didn't use much. 6) Their Yelp reviews were WAY better than competitors. Even the complaints seem to have the irate customer dying off on responses while Kye is still replying. If you're that mad and have a justifiable reason, I don't see why you wouldn't keep following up both in email and on Yelp. Definitely seems like if Thunder were in the wrong, you wouldn't let them have the last word and just give up. Anyway, obviously I can't speak to their ability to handle disputes, etc. since my experience was seamless, but I've worked in CS/Management for a long time and have dealt with thousands of irate customers. I've never seen a customer who was absolutely in the right just stop responding. If you got the proof, you got the proof, and you aren't going to stop chasing money that you feel is yours. Just my two cents. Anyway, moving is super annoying and I hope I never have to do it again. Even with Thunder doing all the heavy lifting, I'm exhausted and in pain. But if I had to move again I would for sure use Thunder Moving and highly recommend them.

Extremely disappointed with the service we received. Several boxes were clearly labeled "Fragile"…read moreand "Do Not Stack," yet one mover ignored these warnings and stacked heavy boxes on top anyway. He also broke a desk during the move, and we now have to go through the process of getting reimbursed for the damage. He also did not speak English, which made communication very difficult and required us to direct him through each step ourselves, something we hired a moving company to avoid. The only mover who could communicate with us was clearly overwhelmed and, to make matters worse, the mover who could not speak english had headphones in during the move, making it even harder to give directions. Overall, it felt like we were doing the move ourselves despite paying for professional help. I would not recommend this company based on our experience.
