Buyer Beware This is…read morenot a slam review full of negativity about a company trying to make an honest buck. This is me reaching out to other possible ABC customers with a simple warning about the services they're attempting to purchase: Just because a company is licensed and bonded, doesn't mean that they offer you protection for your items in the instance that they're damaged in the move. I found this out the hard way. My girlfriend made the appointment with them because they were cheap and close by. I didn't disagree with this thought process, but I failed to ask the bigger question: Do they offer insurance? The answer is no. Please do your homework when selecting a moving company. The benefits of someone else moving your items are myriad, but if you have things that are new/like-new or really valuable, you should consider spending the extra money on a company that will offer you protection for those items. Our 6 month old television was rendered utterly useless when the movers squeezed too many items into the truck and applied too much pressure to the screen side of the original packaging. When I called to make the claim, the manager/owner/whoever-he-is exclaimed that one of the movers "saw me putting it in the box incorrectly, and that's why it was broken." Two things are inherently wrong with this statement: First, if he saw me putting it in the box the wrong way, why wouldn't he warn me I was doing so? Second, the tv is curved and can only go in the box one way. It literally cannot go into the box any other way. Sal (I believe the manager's name was) only offered me $0.60/pound of damaged goods (I did some research after the fact and discovered that this is a general liability insurance mandated by the state). Which would equate to maybe $20 for a $1,000 television. It's completely unacceptable. I discovered, from my girlfriend, that she was never offered any insurance (as ABC simply does not insure moved goods), and that Sal told her "if she wanted insurance, she should have spent more money and gone somewhere else." He then proceeded to threaten her with a lawsuit if she posted a negative review of their company. This is not the proper way to run a business. It's too bad, because the movers themselves were great people. They were courteous, straight-forward, and (for the most part) efficient. A little more care on their part could have saved me a television, but I don't blame them for that. It's a $1,000 lesson for me. Just be aware of what you're getting when you sign a contract with ABC Moving. There's no insurance, which feels like carte blanche for them to damage as much of your stuff and still rake in a profit. If you don't have anything that can be easily damaged or is of real value to you, then these are the guys you want, because they actually do make short work of a large quantity of items.

I do think the manager does care about things being done. Well, which is why I chose them in the first place. No company is perfect, mistakes happen, and I'm thankful that they chose to make it right.

Two Men and a Truck in OKC, owned by Adam Mecke, are ABSOLUTELY the WORST movers in the OKC area…read more Also, Adam Mecke, is the rudest person ever and likes yelling at women clients. He runs a scam operation and sends out guys that have no moving experience. They did nothing that Lisa, in sales, said they would do. They didn't wrap mirrors or furniture, and broke and stole more items than I can count. Even tore a door off its frame. Their employees also prey on single women, by saying that they can cut the cost by renting a UHaul, which later they try to hold for ransom. I think the owner and office manager are behind this and use this tactic so they can refuse any claims. I would rate them a huge 0 if I could. Absolutely the worst moving company ever! DON'T USE! Oh also, they have good ratings on their website because when they know you have complaints, they will not allow you to post an honest review! They lock you out so you can't tell about the true side of this company. Continued: In response to Owner: Adam, the only things said to LaKeith was what Malcom, Chicago, and Big A said to say. Everything I said in my review is true. I never solicited them, they came to me with their scheme. I can give numerous names of my friends and neighbors that will confirm every word I've written and YOU and I both know it. Even the police report I filed against the men when they tried to hold the truck for ransom, will verify what I've said. As far as not paying them, I paid what they asked, 50.00 per hour per person, plus tips, and meals, and I have proof. If Malcom kept all of the money, then that is on him. He was the ringleader. Your employees became my nightmare when you sent them to my house. I expected reputable movers when I hired your company but instead you sent scammers to my house to move me. That's not on me. THAT IS ON YOU AND YOUR COMPANY! And I believe because of this that you should be responsible for all of the damage that they did. I never knew these guys before, and never want to see them again! THEY WERE SCAMMERS BUT THEY WERE YOUR EMPLOYEES! But I believe you already knew this! Also another correction, You only reached out once to find out what happened and only offered to pay for one broken lamp, nothing else, and you were screaming at me over the phone when you did this. Don't make it sound like you actually covered all of the damage and losses. PLEASE! Just be honest for once! You are right about one thing, though! I COULD NOT HAVE MADE THIS SHIT UP ABOUT YOUR COMPANY AND YOUR EMPLOYEES!! YOUR COMPANY IS THE WORST! TOTAL SCAM ARTIST! ADVISE TO EVERYONE, DO NOT USE!!!
