They will completely lie about the quote and charge you a ton more on the day of the move when you have no other choices. That's what I get, because I was definitely proven wrong. Whenever I'm moving alone as a female, I always feel a little weird. This time? Not a chance. We hired Little Guy Movers to help pack our U-Haul. They were professional, fast, and efficient!

As a prior military, and now 100% disabled veteran, my family has moved multiple times in the past 30 years. Have had good and not so good movers, but this company was the worst. The owner personally estimated the move, but did Not provide enough boxes or truck space. After the movers ran out of boxes, they were done, and said that is all they were allotted by the owner. They went on to say thats all they were contracted for, and said they felt terrible..., insinuated they have had some issues like this before, among other things. The team was great, super nice guys, but they were really frustrated, and were trying to figure out how to fix the situation. why would I just want a partial move!? Lol. We went through everything, thoroughly. Another team was sent out the next day, 'pro bono' to get the rest of the stuff. only a few guys with the lead being in such a hurry, there was still stuff left over, but I was grateful they tried to fix it. They also took stuff to charity for me, but since we have many things missing, I think they accidentally took stuff to the wrong place. A few things were broken, and we still cannot locate missing items, but I never want to communicate with the owner ever again, plus, they probably have no idea where my missing boxes are. So disappointed in this company, really thought they were gonna be great. I don't recommend. read more

My sister was quoted $720 by Kelly over the phone. Then they gave a another quote and it went to $2,700. Then the day of the move, they tacked on another $300. They didn't even get everything- they laughed off the fact that they left the microwave. It will take a pick up and 3 hours of time to get everything they left behind. Ridiculous! read more

Excellent service from these guys. Polite. Careful. Fast. They gingerly maneuvered my parents' King-sized bed out through the narrow doors. When I carried a few of my items out to my car, they kindly opened the door for me. Really nice. Young men. Professional. Acted like gentlemen. They are insured, but keep in mind certain things: If you Pack boxes and want them to move it, it must be completely sealed. Unsealed boxes are moved by you. If you take apart your bed, they will move it, but for insurance reasons they cannot put it back together. Let them take the bed apart and reassemble it at your new place. Whatever they disassemble, they will reassemble. Whatever you disassemble, they will move, but you must reassemble. Please, consider this carefully before moving, especially if you're in poor health, elderly or with bad joints and back. These guys are professional movers. Let them handle what you cannot. They are insured, but be sure you understand their guidelines before the move. Highly recommended! read more

We hired Little Guys this past weekend to move the big stuff into our new house (furniture, large appliances, etc.). Before: I called several weeks ahead of time to get the appointment set up and the estimates. Working with them over the phone was smooth and they seemed really nice. They gave me the expected call the day before to confirm everything. They told me they would call one hour before their arrival window (a 2 hr window). Arrival: The morning of the move, we were 5 minutes from the beginning of our arrival window, and I still had not heard from them. I called and was informed they were already on their way to our house. I had planned to clean out the fridge last minute before they arrived, so this put me in a bit of a frenzy. Not a huge deal though. The Move Out: Everything seemed to go really smoothly at the move out location. They failed to inform me over the phone that they are not responsible for furniture made from particle board, and informed me prior to moving a book shelf. We are young, just bought our first house, so most our furniture is particle board. I get the concept, and I understand, but I expected them to take a little more care with that kind of stuff. They were so rough with my bookshelf, that it started splitting apart as soon as the guy got it on the dolly. It's light and my husband and I moved it into and out of a U-Haul with no problem. So light he can move it himself... we just didn't have a truck. I guess it's the way they flex stuff to get the dolly underneath. It really stresses the joints... regardless of the quality of furniture. It just didn't seem good. With that said, I had a desk that is near the end of it's life. After this experience, I warned them, and they told me they would carry it out by hand. I was preparing myself that it wouldn't make the move, but it did! The Move In: This is where the low rating came from. The guys put corner protectors made of blankets on door facings, but there wasn't a way to secure them on our corners. Our new house has lots of corners. They had me sign that everything arrived and I accepted the condition of everything, so I did a quick walk through to make sure everything was there, functional, and not broken. Everything seemed fine with the furniture. I was very pleased that nothing was broken or really beat up. My only complaint, other than the bookshelf having to be hammered back together, was that they got the side of our mattress really dirty... like black dirty! The mattress for our guest bed also had chunks of thread pulled out, like the top fabric was snagged on something. It wasn't torn, just snagged. Not a huge deal, but rather annoying. Then after they left I noticed all the damage to the house. They busted a bull-nose corner in our living room on the way to the bedroom. The only thing that went in that room was the metal bed frame, the box springs, and the mattress, so I'm not sure how that happened. Every corner in the back part of the house where the majority of the furniture went had the fresh paint rubbed off and has a black line down the corner now. Our white baseboards at the corners have the same problem. There are two gouges take out of our dry wall in one of the halls. Luckily, everything is surface damage and can be repaired with drywall and paint. I shouldn't have to do that though, and more care should have been taken. I felt rushed at the last minute as they were finishing up moving stuff in and were asking me where something went as the guy had me sign that everything arrived. I was distracted and didn't even think to do a walk through of the house to look for damage. Overall: They did the job we hired them to do... move our big stuff from one house to the next...but somewhat sloppy. Nothing was lost. Damage to our furniture was minor and most of it fixable. But... for what we paid, I expected a lot more. I expected more care to be taken so that the minor damage to our possessions didn't happen. I don't know how I can clean our mattress. I don't know how to get the snags fixed in the guest mattress. We hammered the bookshelf back together with no problem. And now I'm left with a new house that I have to do touch up drywall and paint on again. We hired movers so that professionals who knew what they were doing could move our stuff more efficiently and we didn't risk hurting ourselves. They fulfilled that part, but left us with annoying minor damage to deal with...stuff we didn't have when we moved ourselves. In the end... I don't know if it was worth it. If we decide to use movers next time, we will not be using Little Guys Movers. For the price, we expected a lot more care to be taken. read more

There were no hidden fees or surprises for me either prior to or on the day of my move. We recently moved to Norman from Ada, OK and Little Guys were recommended to us by a previous customer. Due to health issues, I was unable to pack and move household items, like we had done in the past. When I spoke to Little Guys, I explained that the entire house would have to be packed and moved. When they arrived they were prompt, professional, and friendly. They packed up a large house quickly and had us ready to move in one day. The following day, they again showed up on time, with two trucks and a large crew to load and get us to Norman in one day. On arrival in Norman, even more men joined them to get us unloaded and moved in, so that we could actually live in the house that night. They arrived on time, explained everything thoroughly, loaded all furniture with no mishaps (all from a 2nd story office without using the lift) and were off to the new office in 2 hours. Once they reached our new location they unloaded and reassembled all furniture in an hour. From the initial phone call for the quote to the finish of the move it was an amazing experience. Have used them twice and both times the movers would not wait for me to tell them where to put the furniture so we ended up having to move it again ourselves. On the second move I told them not to place the furniture until I told them where it went and they continued putting it in the wrong rooms. I finally had to stop them all and tell them again and told them I wouldn't let them go with a check until they made sure our furniture was in the right rooms. Also on the first move they incorrectly hooked up the washing machine and caused an undetectable leak which cost us our $500 deposit.
