JC Tattoo does some of the best work I've seen. Drew and Rick are really cool people and it's awesome what they bring to the area. They are involved in community events (how many tattoo artists do you see picking up trash around the city that aren't fulfilling a community service obligation from the court?, lol). Like most artists, they are eccentric and can be tough to pin down sometimes but if you want quality work and you can be patient, this is the spot. I have even let them tattoo my oldest daughter and her best friend (if that doesn't tell you something I don't know what will). There is a lot of drama between JC tattoo and another shop (I won't mention who they are) and I feel it unfair. Drew and Rick are business men trying to build their business. I went in for an estimate about a tattoo of the Virgin Mary of Guadalupe on my arm, at first I wanted it about 10 inches in length on top of my already existing Saint Michael the archangel tattoo on my forearm, well once I showed Drew, he then tells me for the same price, HES GOING TO MAKE IT HUGE ON MY ARM ALL THE WAY UP TO MY SHOULDER! His price was perfect too! I went to a shop nearby and the dude charged me over $2000 to get the same piece but SMALLER!!!! Drew didn't even go anywhere near that price and made it so much bigger! The best part is, he connected my Saint Michael the archangel tattoo to the Virgin Mary of Guadalupe FOR FREE!! He stayed after hours after he was closed to get it all nice and done perfectly! Great experience here. From walking in to leaving I was treated with warmth and respect, they offered me a coffee or water. They provided a great initial consultation and they made sure I understood and if I had any questions they were willing and quick to answer them. Pricing is fair for the great work they do.
