Pleasantly surprised. Stopped here with my boyfriend. Tuesday 99cent drumsticks, yum! They were nice and juicy inside. Did the dry rub with blue cheese on the side. Delicious. Discovered that this place will be close to two places that I will be working at in the near future so that's exciting! Nice friendly folks. read more

My wife and I decided to stop into Junction 70 and overall the experience left us with mixed feelings. The place itself looked nice, the parking lot was a decent size, and the food was actually pretty good. The wings had good flavor, my wife really enjoyed the flatbread, and the taco salad was decent too. The two young ladies at the hostess stand were probably the highlight of the visit because they were welcoming and friendly from the start. After we were seated though, the atmosphere felt different. A member of management in a red Surly shirt kept staring at my wife and I in a way that honestly made us uncomfortable. Our server also wasn't very warm or friendly during the visit. When our appetizer came out, the employee asked if we needed anything else while already walking away before we could even answer. Then later the busser walked right past our table with plates sitting there and cleared another table farther away instead. I'm a veteran and not someone who usually gets bothered easily, but the overall feeling we got during our visit just didn't sit right with me. Maybe it wasn't intentional, but it definitely gave us vibes that made us uncomfortable enough that we won't be coming back. Which is unfortunate because the food itself was pretty good. read more

Junction 70 Grill - Bingo Saturday - New American Near Me - Cottage Grove, Minnesota

I have been coming here basically since they opened.More recently I have been coming for the extended breakfast hours. The steak and eggs are my favorite. My server the last two times has been Maddie. She recognized my veteran status and gave me a veteran discount which no one had offered before.I always wear a Marine Corps hat so you would think other servers would notice. Thank you Maddie Mike Bruce read more

Had dinner there tonight, had the Tipsy Texan sandwich, it was terrible. The beef brisket was so dry I could hardly swallow it, the Andouille sausage was cut paper thin, you could not even tell what it was, I have had this sandwich before, and it was very good. Looks like they are cutting corners but cutting their throats. I will not go back or recommend this place. read more

Hostess should not have a job there. When we walked in, she stared at us with a blank face and didn't say anything. Took us to a table, set down our menus and kept walking. Never saying anything to us. We couldn't believe it..!? Very bizarre and not a good experience. First time coming to the restaurant. read more

We love junction 70. I feel like there isn't a lot of choices in cottage grove but junction 70 is definitely a go to for us! Everything we've eaten there has been tasty from the pizza to the bbq meats! They also have great drink specials. Our servers are always amazing and even when it's crowded it isn't too loud! The kids menu is good too! read more

Great service and food! Nice selection of beer on tap which is always a plus. Will be back to try the chicken ranch wrap next!

In my opinion, this is some of the best bar food on that side of the city. The parking lot has ample space. The restaurant seems to always be busy but the service is good and speedy. The ambiance is very relaxed. Great for an after-work happy hour or just a chill dinner with family/ friends. Highly recommend it if you're ever passing through Cottage Grove. read more

It is definitely a bar type vibe. Despite feleing like a bar it felt very clean and well maintained. Great place for hanging out with friends or catching a game. The cheese curds were super oily and the dip that comes with them tastes like vinegar. The rest of the food was alright. Service was good/average. read more

J70 is a great atmosphere for those looking to enjoy sports, good food, and great dining. The staff are attentive and welcoming and provide great service each time. Their menu has wonderful options and their tap list is full. read more

Ignored by host and refused to be seated. Way too many place to dine to be disrespected like that.

The service is great and the atmosphere is live. They do pull tabs and have bingo there as well. The food I would rate it a 6 out of 10. The pot pie was creamy crust was flaky but there wasn't any flavor. The monte cristo my friend stated she has had better it wasn't top tier. The spinach dip was chunky the flavors did not blend well! I would probably just return for drinks and thats about it. read more

Our group was looking forward to a nice lunch together, but the manager's attitude made us turnaround and take our business elsewhere. From the moment we arrived, the manager was noticeably rude and completely disrespectful. Rather than offering solutions, they were noticeably irritated that we were there at all. His tone was dismissive, unprofessional, and far from welcoming. We arrived the minute the establishment opened in hopes to get as many tables next to each other as possible. He continued to have an attitude until finally we said we would leave and take our business elsewhere. For a place that was listed as an option for hockey teams to eat at on the tournament email, they clearly should not be mentioned. I have gone into multiple restaurants with my kid's sports teams and never once was treated this way. Hospitality should be about making guests feel valued, and that simply didn't happen here. Our families live fairly local and have all been here before. We won't be returning, and I hope management takes steps to improve how guests--especially groups--are treated in the future. Absolutely disgusting behavior by this manager. read more

Loved the breakfast burrito and lunches have been great. We also did one happy hour and it was great. Love the patio.

AMAZING FOOD I love by there and it is always the number one pick around I love this place so much way better than your average sports bar.

Took 40 minutes for us to get service in the restaurant. I finally went up to a different server and asked if we could get help. She let me know that they have a shift change. I understand but at the same time we have been sitting here. Food was great but service below average read more

My bestie and I stopped in Monday evening for some late night eats. We were greeted right away when we walked in and seated quickly as well. Our server was prompt and attentive from beginning to end. He offered suggestions and often checked in on us. Excellent service. We both ordered a Kona on tap. Large tap beer selection. We decided to share the boneless wings and cheese curds. Wings were hot and tender. Next time, I'd request double dry rub. Cheese curds were hot and good. We liked the batter and the portion was huge. We also opted in for dessert... couldn't just pick one so we got three. Tiramisu, chocolate cake, and key lime pie. All SO good! I know where I'm coming when I want dessert. Restaurant is nice. Large bar in the middle with televisions surrounding the restaurant. They also have another section with tables. I enjoyed the variety of music playing as well.... Great tunes (some even dance worthy). Can't wait to come back once the weather starts getting warmer to enjoy the outdoor patio and live music; and of course, dessert! read more

Covid-19 era review: Masks required Outdoor seating is available Food is cheap and delicious We had drinks and two entree's for less than $20 before tip. We love Junction 70. Service and food are always great. Tonight the food and staff were extra awesome!! I would recommend.

This bar/restaurants is kind of in an area by itself. It always has great food, including the chicken pot pie. It was great and I will have it again for sure. This is a great atmosphere for family and/or friends to hangout and grab drinks and food. They also have tvs, pull tabs for extra entertainment. read more

Typical cop bar hangout. Great beer selection and diverse menu, with the exception of vegetarian entrées. The service was impeccable and my date was late and the server offered to keep our food under the warmers, which was super nice! Happy hour menu is limited, but at least they have one. Quesadilla's, margarita pizza and chips / queso were all great. Their homemade chips were delicious! It's Cottage Grove's "fancy" restaurant and until we have something different, this place is pretty great. read more

It's a pretty standard American food restaurant. I've been here several times and have always ordered something different; each time the food has been only okay. I can't say the food was bad but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. What pushed my rating to a 3 is the service has always been spotty. Sometimes a waitress doesn't show up to the table for ten minutes or the order has been wrong multiple times or they made comments about the food being bad (no joke). It has always been something. Other people have said they really like Junction 70, so we keep trying but so far I just don't get it. read more

I have tried this place a few times, hoping for something better and leaving disappointed. I will note, the service is always good, the food, not so much. First time I came here, I had a pasta dish and the pasta wasn't cooked. Sent it back and got a new one, still crunchy. Thought maybe just don't get pasta. Tried the chicken pot pie the next time. Not horrible, but terribly oversalted and a bit gooey. Could have been worse. Last try, got chicken wild rice soup. If you are looking for the creamy version, this isn't it. Also horribly salty. I'll just come for drinks and pull tabs from now on. read more

Searches Yelp for restaurants in Cottage Grove for a nice lunch. Junction 70 Grill popped up and we tried it. Glad we did. Very good food. Started with the Cheese Curds. Wow. These are some of the best we've had. The house made Berry Ketchup to dip it in was a wonderful accompaniment. It was really, really good. The Fish N Chips were nice and crispy made with Summit EPA Beer Batter with a delicious house made tartar sauce. Came with very good French fries and Cole slaw. The cole slaw was delicious too. Not too vinegary and not too creamy. Next was the Cracky Mac and it was really good too. Very cheesy with added bacon and the Andouille Sausage gave it a nice kick. The Turkey Bacon Club Sandwich was also a hit. Especially the whole grain bread it was on (so yummy). Everything was fresh and it is just a really good club sandwich. Ended with a piece of Key Lime Cheesecake. It was good. Could have put a little more whipped cream on it, lol, but it was good. Service was pretty good. We had to ask for a lot of things like napkins, etc., but we got everything we asked for with a smile. Very friendly staff and the food came out pretty quick and it was starting to get busy. Will DEFINITELY go back here. Good job #Junction70Grill ! read more

I have never been to a restaurant where the manager has been so incredibly rude. He was abrupt and abrasive at us asking a simple question. When we told him we wouldn't be coming back if this was how he treats his customers, he said "Oh well" and turned to walk away. We got up and left. As we drove out of the parking lot he came out the back door and flipped us off. Wow. We used to love J70, but I can promise you we won't go back. Our waitress was excellent, the fault lies with the disrespectful manager who was too egotistical and didn't care in the least of we were happy or not. This visit was on Sunday May 25th 2025..... in case you're the owner reading this and would like to pinpoint your pathetic excuse of a manager. read more

Can definitely tell this is the spot for the locals - was super busy on a random Saturday afternoon and people were starting to line up for dinner. Was shocked at the price of the bill after two gigantic beers, huge plate of nachos, and heaping pile of cheese curds ($33). Menu has a lot of options- will likely be back to try more standard menu items! read more

Went there for lunch on a weekday, were seated promptly at the ample outdoor seating space. The server was polite and friendly. The menu is fairly extensive, there were a couple of items that honestly I was not expecting to see on the menu like a pot pie. We ordered 2 entrees and an appetizer and a couple of drinks. Overall the food and drinks were good. The portion size was decent also. The reason for four stars instead of 5 is because they messed up on our burger order but the server was able to rectify the issue. read more

Definitely one of the better quality bar and grill type of places in the east metro. There are some tasty homemade sauces that are offered, which is always want you want at places like this. The space is nice and the service has been good for me during my visits. Prices are super reasonable for the quality and very family friendly. Good specials too. read more

Nice place...nasty burgers. GF and I BOTH had burgers. My mushrooms were cold and cheese on both was thrown on last minute--not even close to melted! Neither mush nor cheese was cooked with the burger. Both GF and I had major stomach cramps and blow out sessions in the bathroom 6 hours later! Place was VERY busy and I really question WHY!?! Waitress was very good. Older gal...not a 19 yr old hot body! Will NEVER go back!! Go anywhere but there!! read more

Very poor service, food and worst management! Waitress takes orders, then never comes back! When she finally returns, she starts bussing the table. When problems brought up, she runs to the manager, who never identified herself, with crocodile tears. The manager says I need to understand the waitress is busy. Well, she isn't busy doing a good job, so the manager overloads the staff with work, since I've been there with twice as many customers and never had a service problem. Management left without listening and it took upwards of 15 more minutes of waiting for guest check. Pretty bad when the place makes fast-food joints look good! Worst experience ever! read more

Bar food fun atmosphere friendly service. Prices were great, but recent increase. Happy hour and specials are a plus.

This is our go to spot. We visit for date nights and family night. Happy Hour from 3-6pm daily, all day on Sundays is a huge hit with us for drinks and appetizers. The wings are some of the best in the area, onion rings are huge. We easily eat here 1-2x a week and the staff never miss a beat getting our favorite drinks and food to us. read more

I really want to like this restaurant. Their Alfredo is good, but otherwise they don't have vegetarian options. My drink was made with curdled milk they told me was normal. But service is good overall, and meat eaters seem to really like it. read more

Ordered the Fish and Chips. Got a boat load of chips (fries) and three small pieces of fish. It was okay but should NOT be a "signature" offering on their menu. It was definitely nothing special. As much as I try to give this place the benefit of the doubt, they continue to disappoint! The fish was small and over battered and the 1.5 tablespoon sized cole slaw was rediculous. I was served more tartar sauce than cole slaw!!! They really need to step up their game. Lots of tap beer does NOT compensate for mediocre food. read more
