Food: (4/5) Hummingbird nest or something like that:(4/5) It's a bit bland, but it has a good variety of shrimp, scallops, snow peas, and other vegetables on a crispy shell. Good low sodium option in my opinion. Walnut shrimp: (3/5) I'm not the biggest fan of sweet and salty foods, but it was pretty savory and crunchy despite the sauce. Pork intestines: (5/5) These were so crispy and oily. The spicy aroma from the peppers also isn't that unpleasant. Overall a very oil heavy dish and just as delicious. I did order another dish, but it wasn't that outstanding and I forgot the name of it. Service: (5/5) Water refills were frequent and there wasn't much else to it. Everything was quick and efficient. Ambiance: (4/5) Very quiet and dim restaurant. Even talking normally felt very loud. Decor in the walls definitely establishes the vibe. Overall a very nice experience. Prices are fair and portions are good.

It had great flavor and perfect appetizer to start the meal. The garlic vegetable was slightly overcooked but had great garlic flavor and paired perfectly with our cumin lamb. We got an array of standard fare as well as some things that I don't normally see on menus of other Chinese restaurants around town. The dumplings were good, though I was underwhelmed by the lack of spice on the Spicy Pork wonton dumplings. The flavor was very good, but it was not spicy at all. For entrees, we got Curry Chicken and Cumin Lamb. I'd never had Cumin Lamb before, and it rocketed to the top of my favorites list! It was gorgeously flavorful, fragrant, and spicy, warming as I ate. The spiced oil soaked into the rice, spreading the flavor to every last grain. It's really lovely and I highly recommend it. The restaurant is bigger than it appears from the outside, with a bright, cheerful ambience. Despite being busy, it never felt too loud, which was nice. Service was attentive and everyone inside was incredibly kind and respectful. Ordered Crab Rangoons and Beef Chow Fun, a couple of staples of mine trying new Chinese restaurants. Rangoons were perfectly crispy, while the chow fun had a delicious wok hei flavor. The noodles and beef were tender and the dish had plenty of onions/green onions/etc. The only thing I didn't care for - and this is a personal preference - is that the chow fun did have a little more star anise/five spice flavor than I care for. Otherwise, the food was hot, fresh, and delicious! Definitely looking forward to returning for a dine in visit to try out the full, very authentic looking menu.

The unassuming run down strip mall facade I hope offers a low rent lot for them to keep business going forever, and also offers customers pretty reliable free parking. Take a menu and order first at the register before finding a seat within the bare bones interior. Yes, there's a cool wall mural of a kung fu noodle girl and a LOT of (hopefully) ironic quips about working, but otherwise it's just some tables, the glass storefront, the register, and the kitchen. It's fortunately pretty spacious so you won't have to feel the heat radiating from your neighbor or their soup bowl. I like a focused menu, and Noodleholics has just a few different options that they do and do well. We opted for the spicy Chaoshou Dumplings as well as a bowl of the Taiwanese Beef and The Guilin. The Chaoshou Dumplings were good but just okay, with me hoping for an oilier type sauce to better coat each dumpling, though the sauce definitely has a kick. The noodle soups though... Wow. Both soup bases were savory rich and nourishing, packed full of fresh protein and veggies. I liked the wide wheat noodles more than the thinner rice noodles in the Guilin, but really enjoyed the mixture of pickled veggies and crunchy peanuts that often don't make it into dishes outside of a true Chinese restaurant. I do think the beef and pork could be more tender, but they really perfected the crispy skin of the pork. This is a great affordable, casual meal that just feeds your soul, and I like that once they bring your food out, everything else is self-serve so you're not waiting around for a takeout box or refilling water, which is all located at a convenient counter. Another mark of an authentic Asian restaurant is a toothpick dispenser (check!). If they ever opened a location in my area, I know I'd be a regular!

We ordered the split pot (highly recommend!), which lets you enjoy two different broths in one enormous bowl. And these bowls are huge. Totally ideal for 2-4 people and perfect for sharing. The flavors were phenomenal, and if you're a spice chaser, they do not play around. Level 1 already brings heat. They also offer vegetarian and vegan-friendly ingredients, which I appreciated. I will say it's a bit pricier than you'd expect for a small, tucked-away location, and the bill adds up quickly.
