One star is right the rating based on our experience. Our coordinator seems a little lost during the whole process. I need to help to decorate the room and seems the poor guy always full hand. We have to serve the pizza and drink and cut the cake by ourselves. We keep looking for the man to request something. Other than that, he came three or four times to remind/push us while we still have half hour to go. He failed to lead the party and the happy birthday song part just slip away. Other than that, the first and third play room smell bad. The restroom is disgusting. On more important part, when we request coordinator to help put up the background to the wall, he just gave the impatient look and the background was roughly hang there uneven. read more

Several years ago I wrote a negative review about Jumping Jacks. I been there several times since and I was notified the old manager was no longer at the location due to numerous complaints. I really must say that I was kinda skeptical going into this when I booked it for my daughters Softball team party. Off the bat: You know that you're getting a limited amount of time, so why go into it expecting more? This is literally a KIDS heaven, so yes, there will be little bits of "trash" left behind (usually seems like scraps of paper and left behind tiny toys) Kids are literally walking and talking germ balls, so if you're expecting some vacuum sealed squeaky clean establishment....turn around now. With that said, I didn't think the place was bad at all. The party room was clean when we entered it. The process to book a party online is really convenient, I opted for the Sunday Special and brought in all our own food. There are only two items that they do not allow to be brought in, Pizza and Soda because they include them in their packages. Other than that, you can bring in whatever you like. They do offer a catering menu if you want them to take care of the whole shebang! Check in was simple, the kids at the front desk were nice, attentive and helpful. They have a pretty good system for parties, presents get placed in a big bin under the kids name. They provide you two rolling carts to load your food/goodie bags/ice chets...whatever you're bringing for your party. They will open your party room 30 minutes prior to everyone being let it to it. Basically, while you're in the 3rd and last jump room. You (the host) can join your party planner in the room and set up what you need during those 30 minutes. They help serve the kids, cut cake, will help with games and help clean up. So if you're looking for a super easy party option in air conditioning without having to worry about lingering guests and cleaning your house and all that other jazz that comes with a park/house party... I suggest Jumping Jacks. read more

This is the best Jumping Jacks I've been to, mostly because of the basketball court, the size of each room and the party rooms. My kids enjoyed themselves as they attended a birthday party for a friend from school. The dark room, may be a little too dark, but the kids loved the screen on the floor, especially the smaller kids. I enjoyed the free video games. That is always a nice perk. We've been here three times now because the people at my son's school often hold kids' parties here. The prices for kids' parties are so reasonable that we will be there for our children's party as well. The place has three rooms that you get for a half hour each and the party room for an hour at the end. Each room has a different theme and slightly different things in it. The manager is really rude and pestered our group about not having snacks (and even followed one of the moms in our group asking three times and even following her about snacks, and she told him she did not have any!) he also said if the kids come out to eat any of the snacks they are not allowed to return to the play area at all. This doesn't make sense as young kids need to eat, especially if we are here for over two hours. It would make sense if the kids could eat in another area then we allowed to enter, but they are strict about this as well. What really felt unfair was he completely allowed another group to bring their snacks which they brought in their stroller and they fed their kids watermelon and other food snacks inside the actual jumping area. I'm not sure if the manager was being racist, but his rudeness and double standards are not acceptable. They also raised the price of their free jump, he said they did it recently. Seriously, probably the best and fun place to throw a kids birthday party! Depends on the package that you order, it comes with three jumping rooms, bouncers and slides in the first one, glow in the dark with bouncers in the second one, and sport competition bouncers and basketball court on the third one. We had my niece birthday party here and it was a hit! Pizza and soda was part of the package. We brought outside food that they didn't have. The only downfall is time is limited so you have rush to get out in a couple hours. But it can host many people since the venue is pretty big. Place is not super clean but the restroom needs more cleaning. Overall, probably a good place to have a birthday party for kids. read more

Our whole experience was great and it was a good value. There was a special for $399 for 30 kids (adults and under 2 free) 6 pizzas, 3 2-liter drinks, 3 jumping rooms for 30 minutes each and an hour in the cake room. We catered additional food, brought in drinks snacks, donuts, for a $15 free. I thought that 1 hour for the cake room would feel too rushed but it was ok. Kids can only spend so much time sitting to eat anyway. The front desk staff was nice and our "server" was great. She set everything up and cleaned up and organized things. When you include he cost to cover food for the 45 adults that come with the kids at about $10/ea, and get your own goodie bags or party favors, it's easily a $1000 Party. You could be more budget minded by just going for pizza for the adults too... but I digress. The great thing about a party here is that the kids play in a confined safe space so parents can talk relax and mingle. Plus it's air conditioned so if you have to have a summer party, this is the way to go. I'm not crazy about the dark jumping room only because it's too dark for my taste. We recently had our son's birthday at the San Dimas Jumping Jacks (JJ). We had previously attended a party at the Rancho Cucamonga location and had a good experience so we thought we would have our son's party at the San Dimas location because it was more convenient. When we made our party arrangements I inquired if they could blow up our own balloons (5) with helium (they were Power Ranger balloons to match the theme of the party). I was quoted $1 per balloon over the phone and via email from Paul Boulos, the manager. He also said that 5 balloons would not be enough given the size of the party room and talked me into adding 11 other balloons at the cost of $1 each which I agreed to. When we checked in at JJ the day of the event I asked to have my balloons blown up. Paul said that because they were oversized balloons that there would be an additional cost of $2 for the smaller ones and $5 for the bigger one. I said that we were quoted $1 per balloon but he argued that he actually told me $1 for regular balloons and higher depending on the size of the balloon. It would have only come out to an additional $15 but the point is that he did not say that to me via phone or email. After hearing this, my husband told me to just cancel the other 11 balloons. I told Paul we would like to cancel the additional balloons but he refused to refund us, saying that they were already filled. My husband then spoke to him but he still wouldn't budge "swearing on his mother's grave" that he did tell me there would be a higher cost. Is someone swearing on their mother's grave the type of person you would want influencing your children? Just before our party started, he approached me in front of my family and husband and asked me if he did in fact tell me over the phone that there was a higher cost for bigger balloons. I replied "no you said $1 per balloon". He then rudely replied "well I can't help you then if you're going to lie" and stormed off. Thank goodness my children didn't hear Paul, call me a liar. Kids being curious I'm sure they would be negatively affected and be asking "why is he calling you a liar mom?" Wanting to make sure my son and his friends had the best possible experience we kept our composure throughout the party. At the end of the party as I was settling the bill Paul said he wanted to apologize about the confrontation as this must have been some miscommunication and tried to shake my hand which I refused. He asked why I wouldn't shake his hand and accept his apology and gave me a sob story that he was just an employee and he didn't want to get in trouble. The way he carried himself he was more like the owner and just gave me the employee sob story because he didn't want to get a bad review on Yelp. I let him know that 1) he did quote me $1 per balloon and 2) he called me a liar in front of my husband and family so I would not accept his apology. I wish I had thought to check my email at the time but I was so upset and didn't think about it. If anyone from JJ cares please check the email reply sent on Feb 13, 2013 at 8:05 PM PST from SanDimasTL@JumpingJacksParty.com. It says "Yes we do, $1.00 per balloon." (see below) Paul Boulos had the audacity to call a paying customer a liar? Really? The person running this business has no class and little customer service skills. It's all about the money, not the customer. This could have been easily resolved by either 1) charging us $1 per balloon or 2) refunding us $11 for the balloons we wanted to cancel. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. Sad part is that it is a nice facility (albeit they should provide supervision in the play rooms at all times) and I have 2 younger kids that I would have had their birthdays there, but it is extremely unlikely that I would ever patronize the Jumping Jacks brand again unless the ownership/management changed. I would encourage every mother/father to read all the reviews about this company before deciding if they are willing to risk having such an experience. Just to know that we're fair, although we had a terrible experience with Paul, we still tipped the attendant who catered to our needs in the cake room. She was very professional. Bottom line: Read all of the other customer reviews so you can make an informed decision on whether you want to patronize the Jumping Jacks brand. Went today for morning open play. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. Half the crowd that showed up had left after an hour because of poor management and safety issues. THE COPS WERE CALLED for goodness sake!! The owner showed his face a couple times, but didnt seen concerned that so many families were upset. This was my second time here, the first time was for a bday party. At the bday party there was no employee watching the kids, making sure they were safe, which bothered me, but the kids had fun, so i was able to overlook that particular issue. however on one jumper, it was set very high and when kids would exit, they would fall out; On their heads, their bottoms, etc..they shouldve had a tumble mat there, so kids didnt get hurt. However after today's experence i would never, ever go back here. i have been to Pump It Up and Wild Kingdom, that are run MUCH better and are FAR safer for your kids. They have a worker supervising at all times, even during open play. I live in San Dimas and i would make the additional 10-15min drive to the other places without hesitation. Some other very concerning things that went down at Jumping Jacks today: There were too many small children getting hurt by older kids, so the owner came into the first room and began yelling, "all kids older than 5, go into the other room" over and over, once all the older kids had left, he LOCKED the double doors connecting the 1st room to the 2nd and 3rd!! I was SHOCKED. my son whom is 8, was now unable to get to me and my 5 year old easily. He had to go into the hallways to get back to me. I found this to be very unsafe and unsettling. What if there was an emergency??? my child had no easy way to get out, nor me be able to find him. It blew me away. The owner here seems only concerned about money and NOT about the children being safe and happy. read more

I really liked the idea of having it here so we did not have to make a mess at the house! my daughter had 12 friends come and the kids really had a blast. there is not a lot for adults to do but again it is for the kids. they got to go in 3 different rooms and then also a party room where pizza is served along with cake and presents. one of the things that I was not impressed with was the lady in charge of the party room. she was not that friendly and didn't have much of a personality. she didn't even seem like she liked kids!! when I made the final payment after the party they said would u like to leave a tip for the girl in the party room and I said well how much do you usually tip? they said 10 percent. well the party was over $400 and I definitely was not going to give her $40 to be with us less than 1 hour!! Great place for birthday parties. Lots of fun and no clean up, you can't beat that! The kids enjoyed going from room to room, it felt like they had something else to look forward to instead of one large room with no where else to go. I thought one hour in the eating area would not be enough but it actually was, I opted to bring cupcakes instead of cutting cake which gave us enough time to open gifts. We sang happy birthday on a cupcake and then distributed cupcakes as my son opened his gifts. The pizza and sandwiches are good ( I recommend just buying sandwiches here) they allowed us to bring chips and juices without an extra fee. Came here for a birthday party for a friends kid. First off they make you watch a video, I didn't know what was it about because I wasn't paying attention, but I assume it was for safety purposes. So this is what they do, there are different themed rooms of Bouncy houses. And these bouncy things are not the ones you see at people's houses when they have a kids birthday party. These bouncies are Huge and built strong and big enough for adults. These rooms are themed, sports room, then a Space room, the other one I forgot, sorry. This place is cool, the kids love seem to love it. After they take you to all the bouncy rooms, they take you to the eating area where they celebrate the birthday boy/girl. You can bring your own food/drinks to accomodate your hungry guest, and I'm sure they built up a appetite going through the bouncy rooms. Nice place to throw a party for kids other than Chuck e cheese or those other places. One thing is the bathrooms were unpleasent. Floors were always wet. read more

It seemed very organized, private and the party coordinator was great! Wish I remembered her name to give her kudos. She did things and helped far beyond what I et her role was. Finally an indoor children's inflatable place has opened in our area!! My moms group visited it on the first week for open play. It's very spacious, three jumping rooms, we used one for open play. Parking is easy and much of it. $8 a child isn't too bad for the fun kids have here. It was nice and cool inside, new, doesn't smell like feet and kids gym yet ;) The staff was nice enough but not overly welcoming, friendly or explanatory , the girl just opened the open play room door and that was that. But it's fine, they just opened. My toddler refused to jump, he was very scared upon walking into this huge room full of jumpers and scary Halloween music was blasting very loud! So we mostly just sat together on a jumpy. The other kids in our group had a blast. We will be returning as a group monthly most likely. I hope they keep it very clean and add more open play days/ times. Great birthday place. Returned for birthday parties since this...just ok. Employees are either great or terrible. No supervision for kids. Hopefully new owners will take over soon. Sad. read more

This place deserves two stars the most. (1) the staff wasn't annoyed for the outrageous amount of ice packs we needed for hurt kids (2) the kids really do seem to love bouncy houses. Now for the bad, (1) kids get hurt all the time! Constantly hitting their head, twisting their ankle (2) some of the bouncy houses are not safe! Tipping over! Kids getting stuck. One of them had a 'hole' and one is way too close to comfort by lights. (3) the bathrooms are gross and dirty (4) they should limit the kids within each room. I've had 3 parties for my boy here, he just keeps wanting to come back. Today I attended my niece and nephews party and was really blown away and touched by the compassion the staff there showed. The Birthday kids were late to their own party :( by no fault of their own, but they missed out on every single room of play! Heart breaking right!.... well the staff was so kind as to figure out a way to give the two little ones time to play in every single room! Wow!!! We had a birthday party for our son this past weekend as soon as we walked in and I seen the three staff members that were at the desk swiveling around in their chairs and on the cell phones I knew we were off to a bad start. They looked messy and and very unprofessional. The guy was nice with the two girls that were there did not greet us. They were too busy, laughing, talking amongst each other, and on their cell phones the entire time the place was disgusting. It was so dirty I was soo embarrassed to have my guest come and celebrate with us in the party room. The first room was dirty, and had no ventilation. The second glow in the dark room felt like we were trapped in a Sauna with no air. They forgot about us and left us in there for 45 minutes!Finally, when they open the door, we felt like we were finally free!!and could breathe!but just to walk into another disgusting room the windows had a film on them, and the floors were sticky, When I went into the party room, it was so dirty. There was still trash in the trash, cans and trash on the counter from the other party. Also, there was food on the floor and the counter was so small it barely fit the food!I had to put my drink on the metal crate that they provided. We should've got a nice clean room and the workers should've been tentative for $425. We were very very disappointed! I will never come back here, and I will never Recommend this place to anyone if you are thinking about having a party here, think twice! This place was filthy! We came for a party, the carpet in the basketball area looks like it was not vacuumed in weeks. There was trash on the floor, opened water bottles from previous people. Dust balls all over the borders. Kids don't notice but as a mom of a toddler who picks up everything, it's nasty. Hallways and restrooms are gross. The Women's restroom had a clogged sink full of water. I wonder how nasty the jumpers are. Pizza was good. The party room was ok, it was roomy. I went to Jumping Jacks last December when I went home for Christmas. My mom thought that we should spend a bit of time there to have fun with my niece and nephew before I left to go back home. My brother, mom, boyfriend, and my niece and nephew all went, all pretty excited to go. When we got there, they were closed for the open jump! Deflated, we asked to at least check out the facility since we (my bf and I) had come from Texas and it would be our only opportunity. Waking around, there were no parties going on, and no one in sight, so they decided since we came all this way to let us jump in one of the rooms for a half hour on the house! I had never been so excited, lol. After about 15 minutes, all of the adults were jumped out. I am still very happy with their kindness. A quick note before you go: Make sure you check the hours and find out if you're able to go at that time (because you can't jump during a party hour slot). They do not have people to supervise your kids. If you are having a party, bring a chaperone because the good news is.... Adults are free! (Although, you will quickly find out how in shape you are...) Overall, I really fun place, the staff were friendly, and I enjoyed my time there. read more

I love this place. I was one of the first parties they hosted at jumping jacks after they opened. I communicated with Sam the owner before they opened. He was very good at responding to emails and was there when we had our party. They had smaller bouncers because their permanent ones were on order. I didn't complain. Everyone was super friendly and would go back. I have been back to jumping jacks twice as a party guest since I had our party and no complaints. They have large jumpers now and kids have a great time. To all the people with complaints about supervision. Since when did jumping jacks become a baby sitting service? I know it's custom for some parents to go and drop off their kids at a kids party and think they will be fine since someone else will watch their kids. I go to all my son's birthday parties even when I don't know the parents which I believe is more of a reason to. What happened to parental involvement? As a parent you have a responsibility to watch your kid not think a place like Jumping Jacks to do it for you. I am not judging those who complain of lack of staff supervision from jumping jacks but come on people, where's your common sense? I like the fact that the kids are allowed to play and thier is not a manager or employee yelling at the kids at all times for being kids. Thier are a few differant rooms all clean and spacious. I tried to play a little with my boys but I was tired very quickly and retired to a near by bench. The price is very affordable and even the vending machines arent ridiculous with mark ups like you tend to see... We had our son's 5th birthday party at Jumping Jacks and he had a GREAT time with all of his friends. Even the parents had fun and were getting in some of the bounceys with their kids. It seems like the 30 minutes in each room just flies by! The only thing I would suggest is to bring your own juice boxes since the ones they gave out were basically sugar water with no juice in them. Also, when you have adults at the party, it is better to have a pasta and salad with the pizzas, so that the adults can have a choice. That worked out best for us. On a side note, after reading some of the reviews, I noticed that people complained about lack of supervision by the staff - well isn't that what the PARENTS are suppose to do? We specifically mentioned in our invitation "no drop offs please." I agree there could have been more presence by the staff, but it is not their job to watch your kid - it is YOUR job! read more

TOTALLY IMPRESSSED!!!!!! I don't normally do bounce houses, because they are dirty and my two year old hates them. She normally is clung onto my leg, and so they are useless to go to. I have been avoiding going to this one because of both of these factors. I wish I would have gone sooner!!!!! It was clean, and smelled good (usually they have a sweaty kid odor), and the staff was very helpful and safety conscious. My two year old within minutes warmed up and was bouncing, laughing, going down slides and dancing to the fun music that they played the whole time we were there.
