I learned that Anne was responsible for altar arrangements at the church I was getting married at,…read moreand subsequently asked her to assemble flowers for my Bridal Party. Anne was very accessible, open to my ideas and offered sound advice to keep my flowers beautiful, but in my price range. My wedding was in September, and she suggested Circus Roses as a theme for my Bridal Bouquet and Boutonnieres. She also incorporated these delightful flowers into her altar arrangements for the church. Anne's arrangements were both beautiful and sturdy - My bouquet was abused for many photographs and still looked lovely at the end of the day. I have since had it preserved to last as a centerpiece for several years. Thank you Anne! Scott and I were so happy with your work, and hope your business continues to thrive!

I'm sorry to say I have my first unpleasant experience here today. I was in the bakery to find anything red velvet for my son's birthday. We couldn't find anything on the grab and go selves so we waited to talk to the bakery staff. The person in back was busy with a customer and his two sons. We waited patiently until she was done with them. When she was finished she walked away despite us waiting to be helped and never acknowledged us. I know she saw us there. The second bakery person came up as I was going to say something. I asked her instead and she pointed to the frozen section, when we got there it still wasn't easily seen. The second person came behind us so I thought she came to help but instead she got a cake out the bottom shelf. When she say we couldn't find the red velvet item she just pointed behind her and said right there and kept walking. Very rude and surprising for this store. I mean not the worse experience I've had but it will definitely keep me out of the bakery.

The following evening, after the funeral, I called Davis to see what had happened. I've ordered flowers from Davis via their Web site on multiple occasions for friends who live in…read morethe area. The arrangements have become increasingly smaller over the past few years. The last time I ordered flowers from Davis (Fall 2011), when given the option online, I paid more to double upgrade the arrangement so that it was a "super deluxe" arrangement with exponentially more roses and the like. With delivery and tax, the arrangement cost close to $100. My friends took a picture of the arrangement and sent it to me with a thank you. I was horrified and embarrassed when I saw the picture. The arrangement could not have been smaller---it was about the size of my hand---and from the picture I could not distinguish any roses at all. Quite frankly, there were barely any flowers in the arrangement---maybe about five to eight in total. Suffice to say, I was embarrassed to think that the recipient of the flowers probably thought I had spent $25 on such a small and cheap-looking arrangement. I will not use Davis again. Be careful of the bait and switch if you choose to use this florist.

Never had a problem with customer service or the engravings that were done for those 5 years. However this past Saturday was really something that caught me off-guard. 1) We entered the store and waited 5 minutes to be acknowledged as a customer. 2) The store associate Michelle did finally walked over to the counter turned her back to us and started engraving some other item that has been sitting on or near the engraving machine since we entered the store. Again no acknowledgement that we existed. 3) When we were finally acknowledge with a pleasant "Hello, what can i do for you today", I presented the plaque with a request to have it engraved. Her response after a quick glance was "No we cannot engrave this thing". I told her it was done here for the past 5 years. "Here at this store?". "Yes, here at this store". REDFLAGS and siren should have gone off then. "OK, the font is Times and I'll get another engraver to do the engraving. We will call you in 24hrs when its done". 4) The phone rang in middle of discussing the work to be done, and Michelle took the call and told us the customer standing right in front of her, "Please hold-on". I stood there, surprised as i waited for Michelle to finish talking to the person on the phone. Results. Never received a phone call, the font was wrong, the size of the font was larger than the other engravings (Yes we did request the fonts and size to match the other engravings). And to top it off the engraving was crooked. DISAPPOINTED. with the customer service, Disappointed with the end result. Disappointed.
