Hiring Tyra was, without question, one of the best choices we made in the lead-up to our wedding…read more My (now) husband and I both had a strong vision for how we envisioned the day, but wanted to be able to take it in without fretting about logistics. Then we met Tyra and signed on for her Wedding Management services. We started out with monthly check-ins, where she would track our progress and provide helpful recommendations. We felt immediately comfortable that one of the biggest days of our lives was in the right hands. At a month out, we did a walkthrough of the venue and Tyra connected with our vendors to start taking logistics off our plate. On the day of our wedding, Tyra and her team were amazing. Little things always go awry on Wedding Day, so having someone on hand to make sure relatives know where they need to be, to troubleshoot when furniture breaks, to hunt down missing shuttles, and to make sure the couple getting married have space to eat makes a huge difference. We were particularly grateful for the enthusiasm and respect she brought to her communications with our vendors. It made a real difference on our wedding day and created a truly warm and positive environment. Tyra is amazing and we fell lucky we got the chance to work with her.

Planning a wedding is already a feat, but doing so during COVID is no joke, as many folks know, especially for my husband and I who had been and still are super duper cautious about avoiding risk. Tyra supported us through it all and guided us along the way. She helped with everything from negotiating with the venue to providing the most amazingly organized agenda for the wedding party, setting up and taking down decorations, to MCing, to music duty. She went above and beyond in the months leading up to and on our special day, and we are so grateful for her.

It was an absolute delight to work with Yodit and her team and I couldn't imagine my magical day…read morewithout her by my side! While I could truly write for days, I will share a few highlights for the next guest or partner of Yodit: - Yodit is a calm presence. From every phone call, meeting in person, email, or text, Yodit was affirming, supportive, solution oriented, and fully confident. If I had concerns or questions about something, she was really great at providing details, answering, and confirming that I felt clear, better, or otherwise. - Yodit is very in tune with her clients. When working with other vendors, she would often share, "my client is visual - could you please provide pictures?" In addition to learning how we processed and made decisions, she would also present vendors who she felt aligned with our energy, wedding vibes, and could work well with us and one another. She truly understands people and how they feel, react, and work together. In moments of challenge, she also prioritized how we could feel, managed any dynamics with vendors, and felt comfortable troubleshooting. - Yodit is very open to feedback and able to have harder conversations. She values the relationship with her clients and vendors, and truly wants to be able to engage in open dialogue. - Yodit is extremely respected in the industry. Each vendor we worked with spoke so highly of Yodit. People were very honored and excited to work with Yodit and be selected by us. In turn, the deliverables were all on point. Again, this goes back to Yodit's relationships. On the day of my wedding, the vendors were so happy to see one an other, work with me, and invested a lot of time into making sure every detail was covered. - Yodit is fun, loving, joyful, and caring. After working together for so long, she truly grew into a person who I could exchange life updates with, learn from, and enjoy special moments with regularly. Lastly, I'll just share that Yodit loves what she does and without a doubt knows what she is doing. From planning, to vendors, to which flowers are best in certain seasons, to color shades, choosing chairs, and more - she's solid. She knows the tricks of the trade, offers good advice, and it ready to be with you on the journey. She is strategic, well experienced, and has high integrity. She moves knowing her name is literally on everything, but more importantly, that this day, event, experience is so important to the client. Her team also shares these qualities and invests deeply in your wedding, experience, and caring for you throughout. Yodit is amazing.

I want to share a few stories from my wedding that illustrate just how incredible of a wedding…read moreplanner Tiffany is! Back in July 2019, I interviewed 10 wedding planners. I sent out a survey with questions that I asked everyone to answer via Google surveys (for some reason!). Tiffany was the only planner who filled out the survey. This is to say that she is the one who understood that this was something that was important to me, so she made it important to her too. This is the quality of Tiffany's that set her above everyone else; from the very first time we met, she worked to make my priorities her priorities. The sound system wasn't working correctly at the beginning of our ceremony, which was such bad luck- we overheard our DJ successfully test the equipment while we were getting our photos taken. It resulted in about a 10 min delay before the ceremony started- in that time interval, Tiffany got warm cider for my mom and my (now) husband's mom, while simultaneously corralling the bridal party to keep them organized and ensuring the momentum of the event didn't get lost in the delay. Everyone cheered when the mic started working again, which diffused all of the anticipatory pre-ceremony tension. Our moms talked (and are still talking!) a lot about the warm cider Tiffany got for them. When faced with the inevitable hiccups that happen during weddings, I promise you that you will want Tiffany there to deal with them. You will not be in a state to deal with it yourself, and knowing that Tiffany, someone with the knowledge, experience, professionalism and temperament to handle it, will absolutely make your day. No matter how big-hearted and generous your family is, it is difficult to get people to do the parts of the wedding that are actually work, like, for example, making the place cards that have the guest's name with their table numbers on them. It's also a big favor to ask of relatives, and it is such a relief to know that you have someone in your corner who you can really count on to get this stuff organized and done. For example, when the aforementioned place cards at my wedding didn't get done beforehand, a detail that was brought to our attention several hours before guests started arriving, Tiffany got all 120 place cards printed that day. Truly incredible, I wish our federal government was like 1/4th as effective as her, we would definitely all be cruising with free health care by now. Tiffany is the wedding industry's equivalent of Olivia Pope. When I asked my husband what wedding advice we would give to other couples, it would be to hire Tiffany!! It was the best decision we could have made. We are so happy with how everything turned out- we were guests at our own wedding!! We just got to enjoy the day, which is exactly what we wanted to do. I never expected a perfect wedding but that's what I got because Tiffany was there to handle it! We love her!
