I called to make sure they had the balloon and told the young lady I would be there in the evening to pick up. Party Place is nestled in the corner of Burtonsville shopping center. Getting into this shopping area can be complex but I was able to find a spot this Saturday evening. The store is small but has a vast variety of balloons, party decor, utensils, holiday decorations & more. A young lady name Ena assisted me and she was super sweet & pleasant. I walked through the store while she blowed up my balloon and I ended up adding a few more balloons along with some decor for the table & cake. The Party Place will now be my go-to spot for balloons & more. They are affordable, the store front is clean, there's no long wait and service by Ena was great. In order to keep them both happy, we knew that we had to hire not just a princess, but her friendly side kick Olaf. I was thrilled to find this company, which offered a wide range of princesses, including Elsa, along with the snowman. I had no idea Olaf would be so tall! He took it all in stride and Elsa helped him get into my house for my kids' large birthday party. Admittedly, I had low expectations for the performance. But I have to say, Elsa was on point. Not only was she able to manage the many kids, but she kept the show going with interactive games and she had an incredible voice. Olaf was also really good with rolling with the punches. The kids were so excited to see him and he continued to stay in character even if the 5-year-olds were pushing to see him. I had several parents ask for a referral. It was a wonderful addition to our party theme and our kids are still talking about it. I was somewhat reluctant to have a character appearance, but I'm so happy that I did. I could tell our kids felt special in that moment and seeing them smile and jump in delight when they arrived was well worth the money spent.
