I was able to purchase some items for upcoming events and admired several others. The shop even has sensory toys for children that could benefit from sensory toys. The shop has a set of handcrafted items by young artist as well as teas by an organization called Skirted Soldier - which is a female Veteran Owned company. I cannot wait to try the Cold Weather Gear tea (gingerbread house black tea). This bag of loose tea includes tea bags. Nice touch! I enjoy shopping and supporting local and/or small businesses. I loved the thoughtful Black touches throughout the space: the toilet paper, the napkins, even the chocolate-covered strawberry we received on arrival was dipped in rich, luxurious black chocolate... and yes, it was absolutely delicious. The energy from the moment I walked in the venue was welcoming, inviting, and just chill. My friend and I were a few minutes late, but Michelle and the rest of the team were so gracious. Even though we started late, we still got the full experience. The staff guided us through the process step by step, helping us select our jars, choose our fragrances, and create our candles. While our candles were curing, we were able to select from a wide variety of fun games to play, including Black Card Revoked and Cards Against Humanity. What was meant to be just a candle-making class turned into a hilariously enjoyable experience. This is such a fun and creative way to spend an afternoon. And who doesn't love a good candle? If you're looking for something fun to do with friends--whether it's a girls' day out, a bridal shower activity, or just something fun to do on a random day--I highly recommend this spot. We we were heartbroken and wanted to at least send them something since we couldn't come to the hospital to meet our grandson- by the time I felt up to calling it was 12:30pm on Friday afternoon & the delivery driver was already out for the day. Well, after explaining our sad story the team got right on it, got a call into the driver who agreed to come back for the delivery and they made a beautiful flower basket in no time at all and had it delivered to the hospital!! Our kids loved it, it made us happy, & they thought it was perfect that Kai's first taste of the outside world would be beautiful blooming flowers for their beautiful blooming boy!!
