When she first joined, she had absolutely no gymnastics experience or exposure, and even going 1x per week at Aerial has helped her immensely. When my daughter told me at age 4 that she was interested in joining gymnastics, I combed through so many Yelp reviews to ensure we chose the right gym to begin with. If there was even one safety issue review, I refused to take her there. Happy to say that we made the right choice, and our youngest daughter has now joined as well. The teachers are so patient and supportive while also challenging the kids. The gym is really clean and large, has enough chairs for parents to sit and watch, and even a small play area to entertain younger siblings during class. For us it is worth the 25-minute drive for my daughters to attend classes, I highly recommend them!

Our heart will always be in the Torrance location though. Teachers are fantastic, caring, the restrooms are clean the entire place is clean, air conditioned doesn't have that "GYM" smell, oh you know what I am talking about. Class sizes have not changed so other post talking about classes getting to large is strange. Parking is not easy, the place is packed during the week. There is a reason for that because its the place to be! Weekend classes are much lighter. We love our Aerial Gymnastics Club and so do so many others which is why its so popular. We couldn't be happier AGC Family and proud to be!

We have had a few privates before and my daughter was so close but something was missing and she wasn't able to hit it. We did a one hour private, within 20 min of our private my daughter nailed it!!! Coach Abby was able to identify the problem, make some adjustments to her form and she nailed it! I could not be more thrilled of this instructor who took the time to get to know my daughter on a personal level and make her feel comfortable and silly but also know how to change tunes and when to focus. Flight school was a very clean gym, clean bathrooms, ladies at the desk were very friendly. You can tell the students who are currently enrolled at this gymnasium have been there a long time and truly love what they do at this facility. Thank you flight school!

All in all I would…read morerecommend it, but there could be improvement in a few areas - teachers could do a better job introducing the students to each other and creating a more team like environment, even with the younger kids. Also, I have some slight concerns about gym cleanliness. The waiting area smells, the chairs are dirty and stained and the floor is always dirty. The gym mats look clean from a distance so hopefully it's just the guest area that's being overlooked.

Made it up the smaller wall and we signed up for Flips & Tricks classes. The staff is THE BEST. My son has difficulty making/keeping friends and "doesn't like to talk to grownups", but he loves the staff here. As a middle-aged mom, I would call the coaches themselves "kods" because they are at least half my age, but they are AMAZING with my son. He "got hurt" his first class and yelled/cried, but the coaches let him have his feelings, got him ice, and taught him how to avoid that situation in the future. After only 2 official classes and 2 longer events, my son has more confidence and says that he "loves the coaches". Hopefully he will make some friends his own age soon too because they have the same love of literally jumping off walls. Photo from the Halloween event which was epic because I saw a ninja turtle and a pickle climbing the wall when I dropped my Little Dude off.

Coach E is an incredible mentor who genuinely care about all of the athletes. They do more than teach gymnastics skills, they help develop discipline, respect, confidence, and teamwork. AFKG feels like a family, and we are grateful to be part of it. Watching my daughter grow from a trial student to a competitive team gymnast has turned into an incredible journey, now she is in her second year on the competitive team, and has been fantastic. She loves being a gymnast and is proud to be part of American Flips. We highly recommend AFKG to any family looking for a supportive and encouraging gymnastics community.

My review reflects the direct experience of my daughter and I. As I was the only parent present…read moreduring the initial interaction with coach E at the photoshoot, others who were not in the "restricted"area do not have the context of what triggered the incident. I have never denied entering the back area. I went in to assist my distressed daughter while the lights were on and families were departing the gym. When I entered, I did not yell, I simply asked what was happening. Coach E response was hostile and he incorrectly claimed that I blamed him for her missing attire, which I never said. He pointed his finger in my face and yelled at me repeatedly. Despite my requests for him to stop and asking his wife to help de-escalate the situation, no one intervened. I only raised my voice after this treatment and things escalated. I was then ordered to leave, which I was already doing as soon as my daughter gathered all her belongings. There were far better ways to communicate with me, explain the situation, or ask me to return to the lobby. Furthermore, the video footage you mention does not disprove my account of events. Characterizing my presence as aggressive, threatening, or harassing is inaccurate, and why I expressed my belief that the situation would have been handled with much more respect if I were of another race. Instead, inquiring about my daughter's well being, I was labeled aggressive. Additionally, your note of the police presence who did not intervene contradicts the claim that I posed a threat; if I had, you would have approached them or they would have intervened. Finally, your account of the incident remains inconsistent. You initially claimed that I blocked traffic, but later stated that I blocked the coach's path which was on the sidewalk. Disputing my review with these shifting inaccuracies only highlights the flaws in your own response. This experience was embarrassing and disheartening for both my daughter (who's heart broken) and I. It is imperative for all parties involved to be honest, respectful, and take accountability for their role in this unfortunate event.
