Finding new places to yelp! about. On to the review!!!!! I had just left a store not too far away from the Pink Pump and had a great experience. It was my birthday, I'd just finished breakfast with my BFF, the sun was shining brightly and I was off work! All was right with the world. PAUSE. Until I entered the Pink Pump. Now I've shopped the Royal Oak location plenty of times and always had a great experience. I even wrote a review for it on this great website called yelp! You should check it out. Upon entrance we were greeted but it really didn't give me a warm and fuzzy. I felt as if I was intruding on someone's break or nap time. You know the kind of feeling you get from the employee of a store that is closing at 9pm and you walk in at 8:50pm. Yeah sorta like that. This Pink Pump location is a bit smaller than the Royal Oak location but the layout is the same. I typically buy my Jessica Simpson shoes from the Pink Pump but didn't see any at this location. I could have over looked them but thinking back - had I been asked if I were looking for something in particular maybe I would have found them. Oh well. Who knows at this point? All in all if I had to do it over again I would have kept walking to get to the frozen yogurt shop.

I chose to work directly with them instead of going through a third party to have some high-end fleeces and vests embroidered with our company logo and they turned out absolutely beautiful. One of the women who worked on our pieces has 20 years of experience and it shows in the quality of the embroidery. Their prices are very fair and worth the drive to Westland to drop things off and pick them up; I'm sure you could also have items shipped directly to them to be embroidered. Every time I went in, they seemed to be very busy, but they always made time for me and even put a rush on an order for me when I left out a few pieces. Thanks to them, I still hit my deadline! They offered to replace my original white background stickers with a clear backing version since I'd ordered the wrong type by mistake. The white ones worked perfectly, but the clear ones were a major issue -- the logo and wording kept peeling and ripping on all but one of the stickers I applied, even when following proper instructions. When I called today to explain, the man on the phone repeatedly interrupted me and made assumptions about what I was doing wrong (like the type of cup used), even though I'd already clarified those details. When I pointed that out, he told me he could help if I stopped cutting him off. Then, without asking for my name or order number, he abruptly said he'd refund me because "he had my number." Another worker mentioned their email inbox was full when I said I'd already sent pictures and a video showing the issue. The man never asked to see them or pull up my email. Overall, the product quality and customer service experience were both disappointing.

I have not been happy with the finished DTF prints. I have consistently received prints with a…read morevisible white outline that is not part of the design. Many times, it's not an outline that is centered around the letter so it's not neat. When I bring it to their attention, I'm told that "everything" I submit has the white outline which is not correct. Then, I was told that DTF will "always" have a white outline around it. Then, I was told, "Well, just put it on a lighter shirt, and you won't be able to see it!" Lastly, it was just met with a shrug - however, I know that the machine can be adjusted, but it seems that they aren't willing to do that. I ignored the smeared print before and started checking everything before I leave the store; but I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of working to make things right especially after I have paid my money!! Do better!
