From the first e-mail and phone call that Shannon and I exchanged to our last text message the day after my wedding, she was an absolute pleasure and delight to work with. She knew every detail of our entire wedding weekend, she flawlessly executed my ceremony and venue decor set-ups in concert with our venue's banquet coordinator and she kept our entire bridal party on schedule the entire day. When I would think of something, I would turn to Shannon to say it, but she had already handled it. She had a smile on her face the entire day, and made us feel loved and provided for, as if we were her own family members getting married. But most of all? She took care of OUR MOMs so that they never had to stress or worry about any moment of the big day. I hope someday I have some reason to hire Shannon again. If you are looking for a wedding planner or Day of Coordinator in the Buffalo/Niagara region, you must hire Shannon. You will not be disappointed.

Today I watched a woman try to change tags and get a stack of plates for $5 she yelled at the 2 men working because they simply stated " I am sorry but that price is wrong " they didn't humiliate her ( I would have) they said "I am sorry but those are $20 .. she argued and ended up yelling "BAD BUSINESS!!" And ran out to her car parked in the tow away zone ! Classic "karen" anyway ! That's not the point ! The point for me is ... the staff handled the situation with professionalism/ courage and grace .. BUT .. the best part is that tucked back on the left of the store are aluminum full and super sturdy full size chafing pans for .... .99 cents !! I kid you not !! Then sterno for .79cents !! What ????? I pay $2.50 at walmart and have to stack TWo pans to prevent them from collapsing!! Sterno is $3.99 !! Sad for you .. I bought them out thinking they were on sale !! BUT the knowledgeable staff told me that's standard pricing !! Ok so long story (well) longer .. great staff - great convent location- amazing selection - Super PRICES !!- and locally owned !! I love that they have a showroom you can visit to see everything in person before you order it. They also let me (for a reasonable fee) have early drop off a few days before my event so I could make sure it was set up how I hoped. I also found them to be more affordable than a lot of other local rental companies. The boys on the truck who dropped off our table and chairs (on June 29th 2019) were very nice and helpful. Shannon helped me revise my quote multiple times so I got exactly what I needed, she was also great. Thanks again!!!

"We talked to Evan, he is very nice (he's new so I think he needs some time to figure things out),…read moreabout keeping the volume lower than he usually does at events (due to the age of our guests) and emphasized the importance of lowering the volume during the reception. Our guest(s) approached the DJ and requested the same. Unfortunately, the volume was too loud (for a couple of our guests), and they left. My mother-in-law was one of them. It was important my guests enjoyed themselves and having to talk over the music after requesting it be lowered was a concern. If there were questions about their requests, I should've been approached to discuss the situation. None-the-less, a few of my guests left and complained to my husband about the volume. Suggestion: The bags from your instrument and the DJ equipment were on the dance floor. One of my guests almost fell due to the placement of the bags, which were not folded or hidden. In the future, please ensure the bags are put in a safe place for the guests." I emailed Matt, the owner, and he talked with Evan. He appreciated the feedback. Evan was great about playing the introduction songs I requested, and created our introduction perfectly. I requested a couple different sounds and song to play, he sent me a copy, and it was perfect! I also gave him a music list with YouTube links to help him with some older songs our parents used to listen to. He even picked a Polka dance for me and my Hubby to dance to. My bridesmaid (Ukrainian) had to come in and take over. Apparently, my Polish husband wasn't going fast enough. We did have an open bar, if you catch my drift. The sax was my favorite part of the night. I think if there could've been more sax playing, along with DJ'ing, it would have been better especially with a small wedding and venue, and older people. The younger crowd (there were about 15-20) enjoyed the music and danced a lot. If the music was lower, it wouldn't have affected them because they were close to the speakers. Other than the volume and the bags, it was great!
