Is this a storefront restaurant in Koreatown? The website only mentions a Topanga location.

I drove to the address listed here and the restaurant was not there.

Really good 치킨! The…read moreserver we had (I think it was the owner) was really attentive. This was my 3rd time there and the food and service always stood out. We always get the Bulgogi Fries (Fries with Cheese, Spicy Mayo, Jalapenos, a creamy salsa, onions, and LOTS of sweet bulgogi), and the Honey Garlic Wings. Also definitely recommend the original marinade or even plain (anything but boring). Seating is plentiful. Lunchtime is never too busy, which really surprised me. I love that they give us gloves. Alcohol is served too, so I think I'm gonna have to come back for a 회식 with my workplace.

I'm adjusting my review, because I don't feel I was being fair. Driving thru downtown while HANGRY…read moreis not a recommendation. This is also no dig on the quality of their chicken. I've eaten from there before. It's well cooked, juicy, with a good crunch, and light flavor. If you're gluten-free, like myself, you can only have two different sauces, and of course you have to pay for those separate. Not a fault, just an observation. Having any Sauce at all, is awesome... My complaint and withholding of a star is that The Only individual sized portions you can get is a chicken sandwich (I'm one of those dreaded * duh..duh..dunnnnn,* "Gluten-Free" peeps. After that the next size is half a chicken (to much for me to eat in a sitting.) and it Doesn't come with any sauces or sides. I'm not saying that's it's a bad price, for the amount and quality... It's absolutely fair. But an individual option, be it wings, tenders, something easy like that. Something comparable to the chicken sandwich, would be really appreciated. That's Star worthy to me. To add insult to a sour moment, I had to pay for parking... for only 3 to 4 minutes. While not truly a fault of the restaurant, it is a part of the experience, and should be noted. Lest others find themselves in a similar situation. And a final note. The manager was never anything but courteous and professional. He put up with my braty hangry behavior like a champ.

Ordered the chashu pork (got double chashu!) Really hit the spot. Casual and clean on the inside with high top tables and can accommodate larger groups as well but come earlier to make sure you beat the rush! There's a parking lot outside but they share the plaza with a lot of other businesses. Meters available but it's a busy street too so that parking can get tough.

REGULAR SLURPIN RAMEN BOWL 10/10: This is a really good…read moreramen! I have tried ramen from all sorts of places and I have to say that this is a really good place to go to for ramen! The portion is quite generous and you get an option for the smaller size or the regular!! To add an add it's a 3 dollar add on (~18/19 for the ramen itself so like ~21/22 for the bowl). ALSO I got no spice but requested spicy on the side and I added it myself.. the spiciness hits and it hits in a good way. I would suggest this more for people who, like me, prefer a more basic... broth, meat, noodle, and MAYBE egg ramen. It does have seaweed too! GYOZA 6/10: The gyoza were fairly standard. I would perhaps suggest maybe getting the fried gyoza instead. I felt that the gyoza were slightly oily on the outside, more than I expected, but nothing too bad. The taste was good and it was good with the sauce. FRIED CHICKEN (WITH SAUCE) 10/10: I so loved the fried chicken and the SAUCE was just so good!! I think it was like a spicy and sweet mayo mixture thing, to be honest I don't know exactly what it was but either way- it was bomb. And the crispness was good (maybe don't get it if you are particular about your chicken being mega crispy though) but it was crispy enough for me. :) SERVICE 9/10: Pretty good service, nice servers, nothing special stood out to me so reasoning for the 1 point dock down. ALSO there was no wait time and they said bye when we left! AMBIANCE 10/10: It's such a chill vibe here. There are stools around these big communal tables and then there are more seats at tables that line the walls. Moody lighting, not too bright, and perfect place for a cute little date or just outing with your friends/family. NOTES -- - Bathroom yes! - 3 dollar valet parking... not bad and honestly a reasonable price!

It was superbly crafted, with flavors that were both rich and perfectly balanced. It truly offered a delightful taste of the region, making it a must-try for any visitor. Complementing the meal was their exquisite coffee, which was brewed to perfection. It had a robust flavor that wasn't too overpowering, providing a soothing accompaniment to the meal. The atmosphere at Levant is another highlight it's remarkably peaceful, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed dining experience. The service was impressively fast without sacrificing quality, ensuring that everything arrived promptly and with a smile. To cap off the meal, I indulged in their apple crumble for a little dessert, which was simply delicious. It provided a sweet and satisfying conclusion to an already wonderful dining experience. Overall, Levant Bistro and Bake Shop is truly a gem, offering delightful cuisine in a serene setting.

Both times the waitstaff were strangely rude, like remarkably unfriendly, and hard to get a hold of. The entrees we ordered were oddly small portions, like bizarro small. And for being kinda pricy and so small, the food was just okay. And the atmosphere was not good either! It was cold, with all the doors open, and the music was so loud we could barely hear each other. I really wanted to like it, how nice to have a Lebanese place close to my house, and returned thinking maybe it was a fluke the first time.

Service is excellent here and I recommend dining in for optimal dining experience. However, all my leftovers were still fire, as well. I would recommend getting all of these dishes: *~Green Curry Dumpling ($12) - This may be a sleeper hit but the green curry surrounding the steamed veggie dumplings is a nice level of spicy and just makes my mouth watering thinking about this appetizer. *~Crispy Duck Rolls ($14) - They're fresh & feel so refreshing to eat with a few pieces of roasted duck inside and their fresh Thai slaw with some hoisin sauce, all wrapped in rice paper and lettuce, of course. I'm obsessed with this appetizer, as well! *~Pad Thai Meltdown ($22) - This is the most fun spin on pad thai of all time! I'm a basic girl and goodness do I love pad thai. Well their recipe is absolutely delicious ~ but this dish has melted cheese on top, as well! It's not as weird as it sounds, it's actually amazing just making the dish taste more creamy, not really cheesy tasting. My only disappoint was they are supposed to grate & melt the cheese tableside and that didn't happen. I went on a busy lunch though so I'm assuming that's why we didn't get the tableside show! Maybe next time! *~Chef Katt's Special Fried Rice ($18) - If you're going to get a fried rice, this classic Thai one may be the one to get with sweet Thai sausage slices and bacon pieces throughout. Loved this fried rice! Honestly, this was the best Thai food I've had in ages! They are adding little spins on dishes to make them fresh and new, and most importantly - delicious! I'll be back soon!

The amount of papaya salad was also very sparse. Probably would just go for regular papaya salad next time. Service is also great - they are very attentive. The location is next to a motel but there is plenty of street parking.

LET ME SAY THIS: If they upgrade the icing? This would be the BEST Strawberry cake I've ever had in my LIFE. The cake itself is so soft, flavorful, and sweet without being overly so. The icing is chalky and doesn't live up to how fantastic the cake is. I would absolutely love it if they swapped it out for vegan whipped cream and fresh strawberries. It was so bad that we moved tables! But that didn't help. These flies were downright terrorists! And I could not continue the uncivil and unholy war with them. So I couldn't even finish my food. And guess what I did? In the spirit of these Army Veteran flies, I FLED the scene! When a place has flees and flies like this, they should CLOSE down and address the issue. I could only imagine what their kitchen looks like. And that probably means they don't wash their food or other items properly. Go to ANY location EXCEPT this one. Do NOT come here.
