We ordered wonton soup, fried wontons, chicken wings and BBQ pork fried rice. Everything was flavorless. The wontons barely had any meat in them. The wontons wrappers are so thick and did not have any taste. Wonton soup tastes like water. Chicken wings are tasteless. Breading doesn't have any taste either. Only flour. I wished I had some salt and pepper to put on the rice. But staying in a hotel doesn't help. Don't waste your money people. Go somewhere else. read more

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the spice level. I like that you can pick the spice level and it was perfect. That being said, the fried rice was bland. Important Details: GOOD: Service and some dishes BAD: Sit-down decor, some dishes, prices a little high (25.85, 1 person) I visit York often as an entry point to Lancaster and wanted something different than a chain restaurant. I tried Jumbo after the seeing some good reviews. Let's get the BAD out first. Like some reviewers said, some of the dishes were bland. The eggroll was very crisp, but needed flavor, the pork in the Chow Fun was good but the dish tasted flat. Also, not trying to be picky but if you are looking for sitdown Chinese this is important. The restauant is more geared toward take out (giant take out with tables). I was given a paper take out menu, take out bottled water and there are backroom supplies in the dining area. That said, like many reviewers said, the lady running the front was sweet and provided great service. Also, the fried dumplings were the STAR. I highly recommend them. I ordered from her a few months ago and the food was great! So I ordered again. The food was inedible. The crab wontons were like cardboard. The GSO's was all bread, no meat, and difficult to chew. I was hoping it was a wone time thing but that one time cost me $24. I threw it all out. :( read more

I was not impressed. Egg roll was small. General Tso was adequate and pork fried rice didn't have much flavor.

Currently this place is carry out only. Their menu may be a tad bit bigger than average. They are very helpful with what I ordered. They customized my order by putting in the vegetables I wanted and even made suggestions. I could understand Stand them. This alone was a big help. My order came out in good time and was hot. The flavor of everything was good. It did not really have the Heavier oily taste you get in some. All the meat was tender and vegetables were cooked to my liking. The wonton soup had the thinner wonton noodles in it. Even the egg roll tasted fresh. I know why now this place is a big hit with coworkers. This was very good take out Chinese; I was staying at a hotel nearby and this was the Chinese place recommended by the guest information booklet in my room. The first night I started with my usual litmus test for takeout Chinese by ordering Chicken with Broccoli and egg drop and wonton soup. All were superb. I had them deliver it, which took about 45 minutes, which is about an average time I have found. The food was delivered hot and came complete with plates, utensils, napkins, and all the other accessories one would hope for. A couple nights later, I ordered from them again, and tried the General Tso's. It was very good, although not as spicy as some versions of the dish I have had before. I have never actually seen the restaurant, and I have only a vague idea of where it is located, but based solely on delivery, I would definitely recommend Jumbo. read more

Food isn't bad. Service is in carry out plastic. Zero ambiance and zero sociability. Dining room has horrible booths and is used as a storage room. Don't bother unless you want food to go. There is a Jumbo II on. W. Market St. 85 degrees outside and the front doors are propped open. Place is clean and food is good but it was 80+ degrees inside.
