Out of the 4 plumbers I contacted on Yelp, he was the only one who took the time to discuss all the technical details with me beforehand and make sure everything was planned right. He came out and did an incredible, high-quality job. The new setup looks very clean and beautiful, and he even corrected the tension issues on both the 2-inch and 1-inch lines to ensure long-term reliability. His pricing was completely fair, transparent, and honest throughout the entire process. He is definitely going to be our first-choice plumber from now on, and I'll be recommending him to all my friends and neighbors. Highly recommended!

He also pointed out a few upgrades I should consider for my main water line to improve both water pressure and safety. I really appreciated that he took the time to educate me without being pushy--it showed that he genuinely cared about making sure everything in my home was working safely and properly. Tai is professional, knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely nice to work with. I really appreciated how efficient and transparent he was throughout the entire process. I asked them to install a tankless water heater. The plumber did a fantastic job installing the water heater. Except, as a plumber, he didn't do electric work. He used an extension cord running to the back yard to plug it in, said the job was good and asked for payment. We didn't pay him because the electrical work wasn't finished, nor did we receive the permit as part of the job. The next day, I had to call them about the electrical work. It hadn't been scheduled, and the job had been marked as finished. They did send out an electrician to install the electrical outlet. The work was great. Again, the electrician asked for payment. I reminded them that the permit was still outstanding. The next day, they had my credit card number on file for a different job, and just used that number to charge for the work. But the job wasn't finished. I paid them a good amount of money, that they charged me for to get the permit for the work. For three weeks I have been trying to contact them to finish the work. In the past, you could talk to someone. Now, every time I call, I get a AI service rep that sends me to voice mail. I have left many, many voice mails, and I have never gotten a call back. I did get a call back from Hank, the AI agent, who then again sent me to a voice mail. Honestly, it pains me to say that they are not the same company they were a year ago. And now, for the first time in 20 years, I now need to find a more reliable plumber.

Now I have a fountain spraying my backyard, necessitating turning off the water to the entire house. Needless to say, a Sev 0 plumbing emergency. After posting my project on Yelp, Allstar Plumbing immediately contacted me, and with the hour Josh arrives at my fro t door. He clearly explained his two options for fixing the faucet, one less invasive and if that didn't work, a more invasive solution that would involve crawling under the house. Fortunately Josh was able to release the soldered-on coupler and attach a new brass hose bib directly to the copper pipe which would eliminate the corrosion which caused the original faucet to fail. It was a very clean solution, and no damage to the stucco on the wall. I'm extremely happy to have the water back on for the three day weekend. Thanks Josh!
