Lupe suggested I get the ceiling tiles on my own and just pay him labor cost. I lucked out and located the ceiling tiles on the cheap brand new at Lowes. I set up for Mr Cerda to come and do the work on a Saturday, and they were fashionably late due to another job that held over. No big deal. They completed the ceiling tile repai in about an hour and a half and cleaned up and were on their way. I highly recommend Guadalupe for your drywall needs!

It took less than an hour for him to unclog it with a snake and then the charge was 447 plus 69 so the total was $516!!! Apparently I have since learned that this is about 3x the normal rate. A good example of dishonesty with the rate and taking advantage of a female. I should have gotten bids but was worried. This company gives the plumbing business a bad name.

One of his workers was at our house within the hour for a free estimate. During that one hour wait, I talked to the other plumbers who replied who also gave estimates based on the description. Several charged a high after hours fee ($150+) and some others wouldn't come until 12/26, unlike P&G! When P&G came, the worker dug the soil/mud until he found the leak and gave a very competitive estimate $250 (better than the other plumbers!) which included materials and labor as well as 1 year warranty. It was all done in an hour after arrival. Highly highly recommend!
