I had a horrible experience with this office, and this is your warning to stay away…read more I was extremely clear that I did NOT want NAD+ added to my treatment because it was not being billed through insurance and I did not agree to pay for it separately. I never received a separate NAD+ IV, and at no point was I clearly told that NAD+ was being added to my regular IV bag. Then afterward, I was sent a $250 invoice for NAD+ that I do not believe I ever received. When I questioned the charge, I was suddenly told that the NAD+ had supposedly been mixed into my regular IV bag. That explanation makes absolutely no sense based on what was communicated to me during the appointment. I specifically declined this treatment. If something is being added to a patient's IV, especially something they already said they did not want and would not pay for, that should be clearly explained and consented to beforehand -- not claimed afterward once a bill is questioned. The communication and billing surrounding this were completely unacceptable and seriously damaged my trust in this provider. Patients should know exactly what is being put into their IV and exactly what they are agreeing to pay for before treatment begins. Based on my experience, I would absolutely stay away from this office.

For the contents of our conversation, it should have been a courtesy call. And I told her it was not a great time because a family member of mine was passing away. For her to still bill me for this conversation knowing that she did not offer me any medical expertise but just to tell me results I already knew is really disappointing and tells me this doctor only cares about money and not about her patients. Now the office won't do anything about the bill so I am writing an appeal letter to my insurance company. It's so ridiculous how you go to get preventative care only for doctors to find any way to bill you. I am never seeing her again and wanted to warn others.

Exceptional Care That Saved My Life…read more I cannot say enough wonderful things about Elevate Health Group. The care I have received here has been extraordinary, and I genuinely believe Dr. Tovmassian and Nurse Practitioner Leah Ghadimi saved my life. Their compassion and commitment have made an immeasurable difference in my life. They have treated me with genuine humanity while navigating some incredibly difficult health challenges. Also shout out to Nurse Colette -- one of the sweetest people you'll ever run into. The facilities themselves are outstanding and welcoming, exceptionally well-maintained, and reflect the high standard of care this organization delivers. It's rare for me to find a healthcare environment where exceptional medical professionals, compassionate treatment, and outstanding facilities come together so seamlessly. Dr. Tovmassian and NP Leah Ghadimi deserve extraordinary recognition for the lives they touch and the difference they make. Elevate Health Group is truly a remarkable healthcare organization, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking exceptional medical care. Thank you for everything.

I asked, but she only takes geriatric patients and I'm not quite old enough yet. But she helped me find a great doctor in the same network. She cares deeply and she listens. After I went to the hospital for stomach pain and came in to review my cat scan, they were at a loss for what could've caused the pain. There was really no follow up or treatment plan suggested. I also recently called when I was super sick and asked if I could come in and get tested for strep and mono and they said they don't do that there and to go to an urgent care. I'm very confused by a doctor's office that doesn't have the basic tests available to diagnose illnesses - It seems like this would be an integral part of the job. The last thing Is that they told me they could do an in-house breast ultra sound with their technician because I had had some irregular results in the past and didn't want to go all the way to Beverly Hills to see my regular breast doctor. But, I never received the results from this. While the bedside manner is lovely, the actual execution of effective medicine is yet to be seen.

Throughout my entire appointment, Dr. Uraizee allowed me to ask every single question I had in my notes and was so easy to talk to! My brother and I have had a tough history of doctors being impatient and seemingly trying to hurry the appointment along. It can come off as rude and inconsiderate. I'm aware that they see countless patients a day and things can get a bit repetitive ...but on our side... this is all very new and "in the moment," and we would appreciate a little kindness, patience and compassion...and Dr. Uraizee delivered every single one! His broad scope of expertise, humanity, tact, and sense of humor have made a lasting positive impact on my life. Like most of his other patients, I can say without hesitation that I consider him and Peggy to be a part of my extended family. I will never forget receiving an unprompted call from Dr. H late in the evening many years ago after they learned of a sudden health crisis that my parent suffered. Thankfully, my parent's crisis eventually resolved; but that brief check-in from Dr. H touched me deeply. I knew that I was not alone and that he genuinely cared. Unheard of in modern medicine, when you call their office after-hours and connect with the emergency line, the phone rings at Dr. H's house. They trust their patients not to abuse that access; but the small number of times that my family needed it, Peggy and Dr. H were on the other end of the line, providing useful information and reassurance, even at 4AM. My experience as a patient of Dr. H's played no small role in my own journey towards becoming a physician. I often find myself trying to recall one of his totally unique and pithy one-liner jokes when I need to break the ice with a new patient. Family practices like this one are virtually impossible to find these days. The world would be a much better place if everyone had a medical team like Dr. Horowitz and Peggy.

With covid and how things are run differently now, communication is KEY! Peggy sent me all the health forms that needed to be completed in a timely manner via email. She was wonderful at responding to my emails, and she made things so easy! They went out of their way to see me in person in a really short notice as my visit required necessary clearance for my nursing program. They only have certain days for appointments but she made an exception for me as my work schedule conflicted with their in-person office visits. Peggy also sent me my labs on a Saturday as I requested if she could send it to me as soon as they receive it.. they are closed on Saturdays and she did that for me (I am so grateful!). I also want to say that I drove from Monterey Park to Dr. Horowitz's office on a Friday during the time that there is so much traffic (traffic alone in this area if you already know is hideous) but I would do it again! Thank you so much Peggy and Dr. Horowitz!!
