The salon itself is very clean and relaxing, the ladies there are very decent and quiet, even the gentleman at the reception is super nice. I drive 45 min because it sure is worth it. Just an abysmal job, which cost me over $90 for two minis. What a shame

But to want to charge $85 in between 2 week lash appointments for lashes that just start falling out is just ridiculous! I seek expert help when I notice that my brows are slightly unsymmetrical in photos (see attached) and to the point that I don't know what to do to fix them. I recently moved to the Weymouth area and Kathie's proximity + glowing 5 star reviews suggested she'd be the right one to get me back on track. I requested an appointment here on Yelp and she responded within minutes giving me times to choose from. I saw her the next evening. It's never an easy feat when someone new is about to alter one of your most important facial features, but she made me feel comfortable right away by thoroughly explaining and showing via a mirror not only what she was going to do but also why. We also discussed my medical history that might affect the sensitivity of my skin. She brought out shape ideas that were hiding in my mismatched brows that open up my eyes and frame them even better than before. The result is attached, and I only fill them with powder. She's also very reasonably priced - the same as most waxing services I've gotten. Looking forward to radiating my renewed brow confidence and having Kathie maintain them.

I contacted Kate needing a set of lashes I'd had put on in NYC removed - I'd moved, it had been too long, I needed to try a different system and find my go-to place in the Boston area. One of Kate's staff expertly and patiently removed the prior set and a day or so later after hiding in the house with no lashes, Kate applied a flawless set of individual lashes for me. I'm a firm believer in go big or go home - so I opted for the set with the most lashes and volume and length lol. But the great thing is, had I wanted something more natural Kate offers a full range of lashes - some with more of of a curl to them, others in different lengths and thicknesses so you can truly customize the look your achieve at this salon, and it's amazing. Unlike the previous lash bar I went to Kate also offers different glues - the one I opted for is waterproof, oil proof and keeps my lashes damn near perfect so long as I keep my 2 week fill appointment (everyone is different, I beat mine up so 2 weeks is my optimum fill time lol) The location is easy to find, easy to park at, and it's well appointed - it's chic, comfortable and the staff at the Lash Studio are not only friendly and accommodating but really carefully trained - lets face it, you don't want just anyone near your eyes with glue and a pair of tweezers. I understand that so many people are concerned about price-point, but if you want the best looking lashes in Boston, this in my opinion, is the only place to come to. It is immaculately clean, the staff are all knowledgeable and a stress is put on keeping the health of the lashes underneath - Kate's dedication to her business and craft really shows.
