I am the first renter of a new complex. I moved in & my unit had not been cleaned. It's a brand new…read morebuild so there was a lot of dirt on the floors, debris on carpet, sawdust in my drawers. Cleaners came 3 weeks after move in & vacuumed, mopped the floors, cleaned toilets and changed trash. They were there for less than an hour. After move in, they changed my house number. No notice was given, no lease amendment was signed prior to change. I found out when I got back from visiting family. I then was told "It's not a big deal just call the companies to get everything fixed on your bills". it took an entire morning (4+ hours) to get things fixed, with no compensation. I still do not have my mail key and I have been here 3+ weeks. Every time I ask, they tell me to go to USPS & it's not their responsibility. I went to USPS and they did not have the keys which I told were dropped off. Still no mail. Overall, not a great first impression. I am military & move around a lot. I would not recommend this property management to future movers. I love the builder, Maurice. He is very kind & attentive, he's actually assisted more with the utility switches than anyone. The place is great, minus all of the things listed above. Moving across the country starting over again at a new duty station, this has been less than ideal. Very much added stress that could have been avoided. I believe they moved me in way too early. ******** Within an hour of posting this, they did reach out to me and were incredibly professional & attentive to my feedback. I was assured it was taken seriously, so I do believe these issues will be completely resolved for the next tenant.

We used the buy before you sell service from flyhomes and we think it is pretty great experience…read more So we are trying to sell our old house and buy a bigger one. But we really don't want to deal with the hassle of selling first, renting a place and moving out all the stuff and then buying and moving to new home. So we worked with flyhomes agent Eminlee on determining the value of the old home(this way, the house can guaranteed to be sold for at least a minimum reasonable value later without worrying about market downturn). We then find a home we like, flyhomes brought the house down for us so that we can directly move in to new house. They also help listing the old house for sale. After we sold the house, we can use it as down payment and have the rest as a regular long term loan(that you can shop around for, altho flyhomes itself also has mortgage subdivision). I think overall it is a painless and smooth process. If we are to sell the house first then buy it could be quite stressful. The agent we work with Eminlee is also quite knowledgeable and experienced. Very responsive to our question and explains to our concern well. I also like how she provide good advice for picking a good house/what to look for. I probably will use this service again and we think this is how house changing process should be done.
