We let him know it was our first time in town and he also gave us directions to a Vista point he recommended. His customer service was excellent! I did a lap around the shop itself, but didn't check out everything in detail. It looked like they had a large variety of different candies, either packaged or sold by the pound. Definitely a solace to check out if you're exploring Julian!

Though I still feel the southern California wines aren't as good as the northern California wines, I'm glad that it's becoming more and more common and I do have to admit that it's improved greatly over the last 10 years. Long ago, I tried these tiny heart shaped pie crust cookies covered in cinnamon and sugar - Apple Memories! These are crisp tiny bites of love that you want to take home every single time! There are actually two buildings. One where you can grab a bite to eat, the other has all the merchandise, and both have whole frozen pies to grab to go! The building where you can dine has a small inside dining area, it can get cozy in there, but on a chilly day, that is exactly what you want! We made the drive out to grab one of their pies to bring back and try. I was impressed they had 8 different types of pies the day we came. The staff was really nice and answered all our questions. We ended up getting their Summerberry Apple pie which was an apple pie with all sorts of berries in it. It was absolutely insanely delicious. It was perfectly sweeten, had the perfect filling to crust ratio, and the crumble on top was heavenly. It was a hit with our friends back home and highly addicting. I recommend it. Besides their popular pies they also had cinnamon buns, cookies, sweet and savory pastries. I did also get a blueberry scone which was alright but I probably wouldn't get again.
