So good! Quiche, egg pockets, muffins, pizza, bagels, sandwiches. Love supporting them! Quick service.

Good pizza. Friendly and fast service. Nothing better than grabbing a slice sitting outside and gazing at the mountains. I Borrego springs.

It's a small shop but they have a large variety of foods and drinks here. We tried their pizza (sausage, pepperoni, and onion) and it was very, very good. Lots of toppings, good buttery crust, good flavor all around. I would say, just a tad more sauce would have put it over the top. We also tried some of their cookies which looked and tasted very homemade. There are very few restaurants in Borrego so it's nice to find ones that stand out. I would definitely return.

Tasty Pizza but prices have doubled for the toppings.

Revisited 10/27/2021 After reopening with new owners I had to check it out. I've always enjoyed the pizza here and wanted to see if it was still good. Martha, Mario and their son are the new owners and have fixed the place up really nice. Fresh paint a wonderful fresh new menu and a very nice patio setting out front for seating. Sadly the prices have gone up from what they used to be but that's to be expected after COVID-19. Service was excellent very friendly very helpful. They still have some bugs to work out I'm sure the place will improve with them doing a great job. I ordered their supreme pizza. Definitely a bit pricey at $24.00 for a large 14in pizza. The ingredients were fresh and delicious and overall the pizza had a fantastic flavor. Unfortunately on this day the pizza dough was a bit tough that is the reason I had to give them only 3 stars. But as I said the pizza was delicious and I will definitely come try them again and hopefully the pizza dough won't be quite so chewy So that I can upgrade them to four stars instead of three. As they work out the bugs from just re-opening with new owners I expect this place will improve to 4 or 5 stars. Can't wait to try their meat eaters Pizza next round.

Extremely slow service, waited an hour for a simple lunch order for two people. Food just ok, not anything special.

Good food and good service in Borrego Springs, easy to get to, close to Christmas Circle. They have a couple nice patios and indoor seating.

While not all Mexican food is created equal, I do tend to think that it's a type of food that is really tough to completely ruin. Unfortunately, I was proven wrong with this visit. I decided on a cup of the tortilla soup, and I ended up only having a couple of bites them throwing the rest out. The chicken was full of bones, which was so gross and not normal or expected for this dish. There were mixed feelings among the group I think, but those who were seating near me did not enjoy their food across the board.

We then headed to RED OCOTILLO for Breakfast. It was utterly FANTASTIC, from the service to the food. We had as our server GLORIA. It took us a couple attempts on the LOOP to get the right EXIT. We walked in and were directed to a table by our SERVER GLORIA. We got a great table right up front by the window. She started, by taking our drink orders. We looked over the menu, admittedly looking at it the night before. I selected the HEUVOS RANCHEROS, and an Arnold Palmer. As for my partner, he had a CLASSIC DESSERT BURRITO. We added Chips and Guacamole, made fresh on the spot!!! It could not have been a BETTER EXPERIENCE!!!

I also ordered their Peppinator sandwich, which is pepperoni melted cheese sandwich. It was good but it would be better if it was toasted a little longer just to make it more crispier. The only thing I didn't like about this place was there was a trail of ants running back and forth around the counter area. Not sure if some of them made it into my drinks. The cashiers are friendly, there are plenty of seats around. I can see this kind of shop at a music festival, they would make tons of money selling drinks and food. I noticed a trailer right next to the shop selling burger, but they aren't open that early, so maybe I will go back next time to try them out.

This has become a go-to spot post-hike in the area and always is the treat I look forward to. On my most recent visit I had the BLT which had avocado, an egg, and chipotle mayo on brioche - hit the spot. Each sandwich comes on a different type of bread, which adds to the flavor profiles for each. Sometimes places just put it all on wheat or sourdough, but I like how the bread is paired to add to the sandwich. There's seating inside and out and always plenty of parking, though I can imagine on the weekend, it's more competitive. Although the spot has been around for a while, I just recently got introduced to it on enthusiastic recommendations from others, so I pass that enthusiastic recommendations onto you.

Maggie misses the fresh baked fruit bars and were soft and full of sweet fruit flavor.  Cashier told us they are only baked on Saturday now.  We touched the fruit bars and they were all hard from sitting around half the week.  It's sad as we loved stopping here after a trip to Julian for fresh baked treats and Doc Brown's Root Beer.  Looks like we will have to buy all our baked treats at one of the Julian bakeries like Apple Alley that bakes their pies every morning.  https://www.hungryones.com/2021/10/apple-alley-bakery/ Staff was nice and efficient.
