All I wanted was for them to be filed and shaped to the same length as the shortest nail. I specifically said - "I want them to look the same shape as they do now, but all as short as the shortest nail." I had long nails when I walked in. One had recently broken halfway down (so still somewhat long). I was busy talking to my friend while she was working, and when I looked over, this is what my first hand looked like. Nails - gone! She didn't clean under them, she didn't buff them, they're not even the same length! WTF?!? I have no idea why I let her do the second hand. When I went to pay, I told the guy at the front desk that I've never had anyone butcher my nails like this. He looked at them and apologized, gave me $15 off. So I paid someone $10 to have them basically cut off my nails completely, unevenly, not buff them... they look like man's nails now. I'm not even complaining that they didn't have massage chairs, that she made me reach over one hand to the other side even though she could have moved herself to the other side of me (it was empty), or that she didn't buff them when they were "done". I just wanted out of there. The desk guy said that when I come back, he'll make sure she isn't the one who would serve me. Ha! "When" I come back... like that's gonna happen. Do. Not. Go. Here.

She was also talking to someone in Russian on her ear pods while doing my manicure. This is what happened to at Tintin Nails when the owner was too busy making appointments while doing my mancure and cut in to my right finger cuticle, causing pain and swelling. I made it clear, that if not, I would simply come back the next day. He proceeded to ask me to take a seat at one of the chairs. Moon came right over and started my pedIcure, which was excellent! Then, after 5 minutes, Tim came over and started my manicure. He was constantly on his cell phone via his ear pods, making appointments with customers and not focusing on my manicure, especially cutting the cuticle skin. When I got home, my finger was throbbing, sore, swollen and red. I texted TIm. He said he was sorry I was in pain, and if there was puss coming out, to seek medical care! We were leaving on vacation in one day. I had to apply neosporin and a bandage for 4 days before it healed completely. When I texted him again that it affected my enjoyment of water amenities at the hotel he replied, "He did his best to accommodate me and recommended coming at my scheduled appointment next time so we can make sure the appropriate technician can have enough time reserved for your service!" Just rude offer to remove 2 hours of work. This is my only day off- to simply have to take all this work off is a waste of my time. Also a little glue is ok I'm sure.
