Man. I have been coming to juicezone for a while now and really only order the chocolate bliss. I have a tree nut and banana allergy so this drink seems to be the safest (or so I thought). The smoothies are very good and I highly recommend them ONLY IF they aren't busy. We went on a busier day and the service was very poor. I believe this is partly due to the fact that they scribble your order down on a piece of paper and then just call out what you ordered when it's ready. No order number or name which is extremely confusing when multiple people order the same thing. They also make you wait outside and just bring the drinks out and set them on a table so if you aren't waiting within ear shot you have no idea if your order is ready. The ordering system is primitive, the cashier writes it down on a very messy piece of paper. The receipt has no order details nor an identifying number. Yesterday my order was completely missed because the piece of paper it was written on was misplaced and a new one was started, so several people that ordered after me got their drinks first until I finally asked what was going on. Had an awful experience with this place. Such a bad vibe! The incident occurred on May 9, 2023, at 12:30 pm. The staff named Sophie and a lady that presented herself as co-partner/co-manager, Debbie was rude and had an offensive manner of dealing with customers. I was RUDELY ORDERED and TOLD to wait outside the store after an order was placed for a large smoothie. Along with another customer, we were asked to go outside the store harshly and condescendingly. Since this did not sit well with me, I asked to speak to the manager to no avail. We tried to call their office and got the same person (Debbie) who told us that was their policy. I asked if it was their policy to rudely treat customers and she even laughed off my complaint and told us she is only a co-partner so she can not do anything about it. Apparently, Tom, the other partner, should be the person to speak to. And to make things worse, while we were expressing our frustration about the incident, she abruptly ended the call by hanging up. The rudeness of their staff does not seem to be new. Several people have posted complaints about their behavior of poor customer service on both Google and Yelp. It's a shame that in the effort to support small and independent businesses, JuiceZone needs to be reminded that treating people with courtesy and respect goes a long way. Needless to say, we are no longer going there and taking our business elsewhere and will warn family, friends, and acquaintances to stay away. read more
