Love, love their juices and smoothie bowls. Juice Caboose is the first place I've seen these smoothie bowls. There are a lot of copy cats but here, you'll get the real thing. Their cold press juices and detox waters are delicious and refreshing. Juice Caboose has great customer service and the vibe is unique. Only in the Northside can you find a mesh of goodness and uniqueness, a taste like no other place. I'll definitely be coming back!

I walked in after looking for a juice bar around my house. It's not too far, maybe 15 minutes away but I'm glad I walked in to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised at the location and the interior. It's so amazing and I give props to the owner! I wanted to try the charcoal bowl but I was beat by the woman before me when she took all 4 bowls the bar had made. They don't make them to order so be prepared that what you might want/crave might not be available. Try coming in before 6pm and you might be lucky. I had the spirulina bowl because it was recommended instead of the charcoal- I have to say it was so good! Bottom line, I recommend.

almond berry toast was very delicious and filled me up !

Walking into Ironworks it's impossible to miss this stand. I never thought I'd be so invested in…read morerevisiting a storage container! That being said, and knowing acai bowls aren't a trend in Houston, I hope they receive the same love from the community as they put in their product. While this spot DOES offer more than acai bowls, I highly recommend ordering an acai bowl! I was super surprised when I received my bowl. It did take a bit of time to arrive, but you can't rush greatness, I guess. The bowl was appropriately tart, fresh, chocolaty (with added cocoa nibs), and the toppings were well mixed throughout (not just on top). They offer the choice of honey or agave as a topper, which I appreciate. And it's hard to deny, the location is not your ordinary storage container food court. There's so much packed into this spot, and it's decorated and laid out appropriate to allows folks to shop, grab a sandwich, coffee, taco, shop for your fur baby or score a tattoo before or after your bowl! The only feedback I have is the price. I paid around $15 for my bowl which is still about $3 more than one of equivalent quality in the River Oaks area.

Stepped inside at 6:50PM to find they already put up a "closed" sign and had drawn the curtain. Turbo lame. Just take down your hours of operation if your actual hours are just "whenever." 5-12-26, bummer.

They had the same menu items and I noticed the prices increased since I last been. The cashier was a bit timid, he talked so low but he was as helpful as he could be. The ambiance is exactly the same. It's intimate and small, cool for a private or solo outing. I would say the music was up a bit louder than expected but it was cool. Now shall we????? The food. Cali ($13) : 4/10 - simply put. No flavor. Fried well though. Not the same. Lil Red BBQ ($12) - 8/10 - The jackfruit could've been seasoned more but the texture was great. My girlfriend liked how soft the bread was also. The BBQ was also good. Notyo Salad ($13) -8.5/10 - This was the most consistent item on the menu. The only thing I can say about it was that it needed more sauce to cover the amount of arugula and micro greens that came on it. But y'all ITS FLAVORFUL. The lime flavor with the avocado. It's MUAAAAHHHHH :* Sweet Potato Fries ($3/each) - 8.5/10 - Fried well. Good portion for price. Left us feeling light. My rating... this is an affordable and great health spot. If you're paying attention they inform people about their needs, ingredients included in the meals, and what the benefits are. If you are new to vegan food this is a great start. This was actually the first vegan restaurant I ever been to. And I enjoy it every time. This time it was less explosive coming back 5 years later.

The açaí bowl was perfect and refreshing & also freshly made right in front of me! My husband got a smoothie and he enjoyed it. They also serve food that doesn't fit the healthy esthetic of the place but it's just as delicious. We got there wings & fried rice and it was bomb! Weird combo to go with a healthy açaí bowl but it was good. Everything was made fresh to order. Definitely worth trying there healthy options & also there indulgence options!

Surrounded by fruits of the day with plenty of plant greenery, it sits on a prominent corner of the food hall making it almost impossible to miss. As a "raw fruit bar" they tout the freshness of the ingredients while noting that nothing has added sugar, preservatives, and is beneficial for nutrition and overall wellness. I've had a number of drinks, mainly smoothies, as well as their bowls and have come away incredibly impressed each time. I'm not one to buy into hype, especially since most drinks are in the $10+/- range but they're just *so* good. For those that want to keep it simple, shoot for an agua fresca, which leans heavy into fruits like watermelon, mango, pineapple, strawberry, etc.. For me, the standouts are the pineapple cucumber lime ($9), strawberry lemonade ($9), watermelon pineapple ($9) and guava pineapple ($10). The wellness based drinks are concoctions that contain additional things such as honey, chia seeds, turmeric root, and even ginger. My favorites here are the Better Than Paloma ($9.50), Thriving Blue ($10), and The Big Ginger Shot ($10). For another $1, one can add more turmeric / ginger root or chia. They also have papaya bowls, fruit bowls, and overnight oats for those looking for a little jumpstart to the day. The smoothie bowls are also really excellent and feature a house-made granola with no powders and made to order. They also have salads and soups, but I have yet to try either. They all range from $11-14. The real treat for me has always been their "artisan" smoothies. They're perfect for on the go and I was surprised to learn there wasn't additional juice, ice, or artificial sweeteners given how hearty they tend to be. I'm the last person who wants to drop $10-12 on a smoothie, but I continually think about the Peanut Butter Cup ($10.50), Peanut Butter & Berries ($11.50), Dragon Fruit Delight ($11.50), Berrylicious ($11), and Purple Goddess ($12). Supposedly the smoothies with PB are the best sellers and I'm thankful they're all in a 20oz cup. Lastly, the owner is such a sweet woman. She and her employees have always been excellent with the service and do a bangup job with everything they put out. I see lots of potential for this Latin-owned biz and am hopeful that others can also indulge without the guilt. __________ (#1) Formally The Conservatory - Midtown.
