From the wine list to the food offerings, I have no notes for this place. The idea of ordering a cruet from a wine tap instead of a bottle of wine is still very interesting to me but each pour tasted like it was fresh from a bottle. To eat, we ordered the chicken biscuit, brussels sprouts, and the daily pasta special. All food came out fairly quickly, and each item was absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend.

The most recent visit last night might've been a 3 for one bit of bait & switch though the food was good & service adequate (our guy was pretty unfamiliar with the menu but was a bit charming/funny about it). The problem - one of their specials was advertised as a French bone-in ribeye in their weekly email. The waiter read it from his cheat sheet as same. Brother-in-law & I both ordered it. When it came, we cut in, only to find that they were giant pork chops instead. It was good but we asked about it. Befuddled, the server went & confirmed that it had been changed & said it would be discounted, which he did, so all's well that ends well.

I barely remember what I ordered. Here is what makes it a one star review : We were surrounded by multiple tables of young teens. Like 12 -14 years old. There had to have been around 20 of them yelling and talking loudly the entire time. Our table became surrounded by them. Not a parent in site. They over took the tables in the bar area. We left before being done eating. Awful experience. Whoever the manager on duty was should be fired. To allow your bar area to become a teenage hangout is unacceptable.

The weather was so breezy, mild, and nice that day, I had to look for places with outdoor dining…read more We saw that there were dog-friendly and had a little gated "dog park," so we decided to give this place a shot. Firstly, the service was great. The host and our server did nothing wrong. My husband had a couple of beers and thought they were great as well. That's why I'm giving 3 stars. They saved it from giving them 1. Phew. Now, with that being said, I write this review a whole day later because I cannot NOT write about our disappointment with the food itself. We ordered mozzarella wedges and fried pickles as appetizers. The fried pickles were fine, but we all took turns laughing and showing off how hollow each one of our mozzarella wedges was. It was all puff and no cheese. That was the start. Then we got our entrées. We ordered wings, a pepperoni flatbread, Cajun pasta, a chicken club sandwich, and fish and chips. My daughter liked the wings, but everything else was not good. I'm trying really hard not to use the word "terrible." My daughter described her pepperoni flatbread as, "I guess it's OK. It tastes like Chinese buffet pizza." My husband, who tries never to complain about food, said his chicken club tasted extremely burnt. I tried it and spit it out because it was so bitter. The pasta was just so very sad, and the garlic toast that came with it was even sadder. My fish and chips were not great either. No one liked the cold fries. We almost finished everything because it was late, we were starving, we're not necessarily picky, and the portions were extremely small. Again, my daughter liked her wings, so there's that. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews, but I also don't like paying a decent amount for bad food in this economy. I didn't want to complain to management because we weren't there to get anything comped, and I could already tell there was nothing I could suggest that would fix how bad our food was. I just could not, in good conscience, fail to warn the next customer about what to expect from the food

Classy ambiance, perfect porch vibes, and a steak that steals the show…read more I stopped into The Cigar Cellar in Kennesaw and was immediately impressed. The ambiance is very classy--warm lighting, upscale decor, and a layout that invites you to relax and stay a while. They've got a great front porch setup for enjoying a smoke outdoors, plus a comfortable seating area inside and a well-designed bar that feels both elegant and approachable. I chose a Casa Fuente cigar, expertly recommended by Chris, the resident cigar sommelier. He knows the humidor inside and out. Paired it with a Maker's Mark Old Fashioned, crafted by Bezi, who was not only skilled but super friendly and welcoming. Talked sports with some locals--Tampa Bay teams, cigars, and whiskey. The crowd was relaxed and conversational, which made the experience even better. But the standout? The steak. I ordered the ribeye after my cigar, and it was incredible. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and served with crisp broccolini and parmesan-dusted house chips. Honestly, this meal would rival a dedicated steakhouse. Highlights: Elegant front porch for outdoor smoking Classy, cozy lounge and bar interior Outstanding cigar and drink selection Staff who truly know their craft (shoutout to Chris & Bezi) Full dinner menu--do not skip the ribeye Clean, well-ventilated, and welcoming If you're in the Kennesaw area and enjoy cigars, bourbon, and great conversation in a high-end setting--this is your spot.

Our…read morefirst time here was 3 years ago but we didn't stay because we were not treated very well by the hostess and we didn't have a reservation so we left. Let's just say we didn't feel welcomed. Fast forward 3 years and this time I made a reservation which we were promptly asked if we had one at 6:15 on a Friday night in an empty restaurant. The restaurant is very nice inside with an open kitchen and the smells were enticing. It smelled amazing in there and the wood fire oven was blazing! 1st impressions were good so far. The staff were very, in a word, stiff. None of them seemed brave enough to look like they were having fun working there. No warmth although the lady who took our order was pretty nice but again, not warm and not inviting. Very regimented. It was like pulling teeth trying to get a recommendation out of her. I almost felt like I was offending her by asking because evidently "everything was good" but the dishes are all different sooooo. Not helpful but evidently in a hurry. Hello! First timers!? We started with the Caesar salad. It was light and delicious. There were 2 small pieces of white anchovy which I really loved! I wanted more anchovies. Next we got what we THOUGHT was focaccia bread. This was absolutely NOT focaccia unless there was a hidden meaning in the description that we missed. This was wood fired pizza dough with some oil and a hint of garlic and some parm. I didn't intend to order plain pizza dough but again I must have misread the menu. Clearly said focaccia. My entree was Porchetta. It was a beautiful plate with really nicely roasted potatoes and veggies. The sides were excellent! The Porchetta was so incredibly greasy and had zero crisp to the skin. I love pork belly but there was wayyyy too much collagen going on. It was just slimy. I really tried to find a good bite but the fat coated my teeth and stayed there til I left. Incredibly disappointed. The flavor was nice but I couldn't get past the collagen. Then there was my wife's dish, the Amatriciana pasta. The pasta was waaayyy undercooked and swimming in oil. There was a pool of olive oil at the bottom of that bowl. I told my wife to dip her plain pizza dough in there. The sauce was supposed to have a little spice from the menu description but all we tasted was olive oil and literally no other flavor. My wife ate none of it and was so disappointed. There were many awards in the restaurant and maybe we just don't know if this is what authentic Italian food is supposed to taste like, but this place wasn't for us. We eat out a lot. We never complain IN restaurants when they have one shot to wow us. To the reader, don't hesitate to give this place a shot. It's popular and has been around this long for a reason. Maybe it was just an off night.
