Found this local spot on my way back from golf at Knollwood after searching for place to get a good smoothie. The menu was a bit overwhelming, but Nanar was really welcoming and extremely helpful in recommending the Maui Mango. Smoothie was delicious, service was great. A definite recommend to check out.

I have come here before but unfortunately I had forgotten to write a review. The people who work here have been nice to me whenever I would ask questions. I ordered the 32oz Earth juice $20 that has kale, spinach, cucumber, celery, pineapple, lemon, ginger. He asked if I wanted it strong and I said it was fine because I didn't want it to be too sweet with the pineapple. The juice came out really good. I liked their flu killer shot (ginger, lemon , cayenne). It was nice and strong. I was not a fan of the revive (elderberry, oregano oil, ginger, lemon) shot. I think it was the oregano oil because I'm not used to the taste of it. For the sunset pressed juice, it had Beets, Apple, Lemon, & Ginger. It was a little too sweet for me. I enjoyed the detox&glow pressed juice with spinach, cucumber, parsley, green apple, lemon , & ginger. The juices were expensive but I needed that extra boost. It came out to be $80 for a 32oz juice, three 16fl oz juices, and three shots. They also sell snacks, protein bowls, gelato, smoothies, and even healthy dog food. Check them out! This location is in a large lot with other stores/restaurants. No restrooms and no indoor seating.there is outdoor seating.

Went back for the second time! I've lived in Granada for awhile and only discovered it now. But I enjoy this place so much bc you can tell it's very health driven. I usually get the supergreen with seamoss, feels good to drink it. Give this place a try! Their menu in store is pretty big than the ones shown online. Hi, This review is for the owner. I think your Godzilla smoothie is amazing when one of your "kindhearted employees" makes it. I order a lot, almost everyday or every other day on Ubereats, name Shannon K. However, I think I will stop for a while because I think I am ordering too much for one of your employees. I have had an order canceled for no reason one day and I have also been given very icy smoothies (almost little to no protein). This is frustrating because the smoothie is $30. I'm confused by how an employee could become frustrated by a customer ordering? Isn't that the whole purpose of why they choose to apply to work at a smoothie place.. to make smoothies? So how can you become frustrated by someone ordering? I'm not being rude, mean or any of that.. I'm just confused where I'm going wrong by giving nearly $30 a day to a business, which in other words, supporting someone's business. If you don't want to work, stay at home for that day because it's unfair to cheat someone ingredients when they're not cheating you with the payment. ESPECIALLY if it isn't YOUR business. To the owner, thank you for your amazing smoothies. Your place is great! It's just one employee (not sure who) that's clearly frustrated by how much I order (in other words pay). Smoothies Yummy tastes, I like that they are not made too sweet. The ingredients mix well together. My bf and I were really craving some soft serve ice cream last night and just so happened to be out because we had to take our dog to a vet to get a rash checked. Turns out this spot came up in the same plaza as the vet so we decided to check it out after! We walked in and it is a lot taller than you would expect (the ceiling I mean). There were large photos and menus on the wall of a lot of different things they made. Another couple was ahead of us waiting for their order and a security guard also waiting for their order. We checked out their gelato since it was the next best thing to soft serve/ice cream. Tbh their gelato looked lacking. Not sure how often they make a new batch or if they were just that busy that day due to it being almost completely out (and super hot lately). We asked what the flavors were regardless and the one the young lady couldn't describe was one of the ones we ended up going for. The other young worker described the flavor as "Ferrero Rocher, the chocolate" so we immediately went for it. We love that chocolate and I love hazelnut flavored things! The other two flavors we got were pistachio and mint choco chip. They were out of small cups but the lady gave us a single scoop of each in larger cups which was completely fine. It's been a minute since we've had gelato and it was all very good! The pistachio has a very nutty/natural taste to it unlike most pistachio ice creams (which kind of have a fake taste to them). I really enjoyed the mint chocolate chip and my bf really liked the ferrero one. I love the fact that they have stamp cards! Keeps me wanting to go back and it's super close too! I also wanted to order a Frappuccino which was on their menu and the girl turned around and had no idea what I was talking about. She then said the menu is outdated and that they don't serve a lot of the items anymore. Kind of a red flag but luckily she was able to make me one anyway. I ended up asking for an iced hazelnut coffee instead which she said she could do (wasn't on their menu at all). It was just ok, nothing crazy. I definitely want to come back for their gelato tho! HORRIBLE PLACE-- horrible Açaí. The açaí was bitter, super watery, and had a foul smell to it. Definitely not like other places. Therefore save your money and go elsewhere. read more

I have passed by this place so many times telling myself I would come in one day. I'm so glad I finally made it in! It is so cute and they have so many smoothie and juice options. I got the almond joy which was delicious. I like that most of their smoothies are vegan and they use natural ingredients. I can't wait to try out some of their other smoothies and juices, as well as the gelato! read more

We had a leaky tire so we had to swing into Pep Boys for a patch. Decided to give this spot a shot and was AMAZED!!!! The lady behind the counter was SO patient and helpful with our three kiddos, then answered all my questions and gave us the PERFECT two recommendations. I seriously can't wait to come back and wish I had gotten her name to give her a shoutout! But we just left, she was Caucasian with dark brown hair, and so nice! We ordered the South Beach and the leaf detox juice, and both were absolutely full of flavor. THANK YOU!!!!! read more

Wanted to grab a quick protein shake before my kids' basketball game and found this little gem. The service was great, and the shakes were delicious. I had the Rambo, and my friend got the Godzilla! The fruit cocktails are amazing. Oh my gosh. The ashta. The fruit. The consistency. The flavor. Amazing flavors! I want to go back and try something else from the menu, like right now! And I just left! Any ways, I tried their 4X4 and it was packed with a lot of fruit, and a lot of flavors! I loved their sweet white whipped cream it's soo yummy! And they top it off with pistachio and natural honey! I highly recommend you check them out! read more

Walked in to a wonderful welcoming greeting. Talked to another customer about her favorite drinks from here. Very peaceful atmosphere. Ordered Forever Young, and chatted with the owner for a while. I'd give Juice Barrel 10 stars if I could. I have a 2-3 juice/ smoothie go to spots in the valley and this is my number one. Friendly staff, attentive, rarely make mistakes (nobody's perfect), Family owned and on more than a few occasions the owner has been behind the counter working, meeting and greeting customers on many occasions I've been there, and he's a really nice guy From my experience all ingredients are always fresh and available, the list of ingredients is high on my list for a juice/smoothie spot to rank high and Juice Barrel does this better than most other establishments. The menu is plentiful pleasing all my needs from shots, juices, smoothies açaí and other items! Hours of operation is from sun up to sun down and I believe 7 days a week!!! (Don't quote me) haha Seriously though they're always open when I need a fix, other than the rare 3-4 times they were unexpectedly closed during normal business hours... (I was so let down by my cravings expectations lol) Cons: I've had a few bad smoothies from here, but I believe that was due to new inexperienced staff member that had just been hired (turnover rate tends to be higher than avg at these types of establishments, from my experience) No biggie bc I've had 50-60 smoothies maybe a bit more from here in the 6 months or so since finding Juice Barell So in conclusion go! You won't be dissatisfied read more

Delicious quality and taste blended into a healthy protein smoothie. You get plenty of nutrients and supplements with your drink of choice. Customer service is great, quick and easy ordering, parking easily available! Recommend The Arnold or The Rambo for a rich, almond butter and cocoa taste. read more

I was looking for a good juice place in Granada Hills area and came across this on Google...read the reviews first and thought it worth a try. (Usually go to Kreation but none located in the area) Great selection of juices and smoothies. Staff not so hippie dippie as Kreation. Definitely will be my go to for juices However I did notice the negative review regarding female staff. My staff person (female) was ok. But that's all...just okay. And another staff person (male) could have been a little friendlier...but wasn't rude. I just think sometimes the younger generation service industry don't quite understand what real customer service is. (Ex.greet with a smile, eye contact, some energy in your voice, "have a great day"...etc. ) Especially located next to a Smoke Shop...customers might think the lack of energy has something to do with being a bit stoned... Lol! Just smile... read more

Been here multiple times and get the same juice every time and usually they're amazing however today I went and the girl took forever to make my one juice and one smoothie after receiving both I realized she gave me a 16oz instead of 20oz so I had to go back to get my correct order. After driving away and trying my juice I just about threw up, she must've added all lime juice to make up for the 4 missing ounces. Very upsetting because I cannot even drink this juice because of how disgustingly sour it is!!! *make sure to try your juice before leaving the store* read more

One of my favorite things to have when I was growing up in Lebanon was the chunky cocktail drink with Ashta on top. Ever since I moved to the U.S. I have been on the hunt for authentic Ashta. 19 years later and I can finally say that I have found this Ashta I was seeking so passionetly!!! Today, thanks to google being its creepy self and all up in my business, it suggested to me an article from USAtoday that talked about this amazing Ashta. I drove for an hour and a half in LA traffic to get here. After having dinner first at Saj Bakery next door( same owners God bless them) we moved on to dessert. I got the Beirut exotic and it was heavenly!! The Ashta is so authentic and just out of this world hug your soul delicious!! My cousin raved about this new place in Granada Hills. She told me that I had to go and write a good review because she loved it. I visited the same night she told me about it because I am all about supporting local businesses and trying new foods. It's a late night spot where you can enjoy some healthier eats like acai fruit bowls and fruit cocktails including ashti, a Lebanese cream used in pastries. They also serve gelato. If you're coming out to Granada Hills, I would suggest grabbing a "destination restaurant" meal at FurnSaj and walking over to Ashtala to try ashti. I tried the Beirut exotic cocktail containing Avocado cream and mixed fresh fruit. Creamy and refreshing because of the fresh fruit, I didn't feel that guilty eating it. It reminds me of the Mexican mangeonada without the tamarindo. This plaza is slowly turning into Little Beirut and that's not a bad thing! I love all our ethnic enclaves in LA. -- If you're coming out from far away, I would hike at O'Melveny Park (second largest park in LA) to make this trip even more worth your while. If you have more time and you're into architecture, take walk to see the Eichler mid-century modern tract homes in Granada Hills' historic Balboa Highlands. There's also a Trader Joe's in the same plaza where you can do your shopping or visit the pizza parlor nearby featured in the film "Drive" with Ryan Gosling. Make it a day trip and visit the San Fernando Mission or visit celebs at their final resting places. Fred from "I Love Lucy" is buried there and Bob Hope next door at the Mission. There's a map online for that if visiting famous dead people if that is your thing. read more

My friend recommended this place. I came in today to try the Ashta. And I couldn't have been happier. Ashta is a Lebanese dessert and it's very difficult to master the flavor. Well I found my place away from home. AshtaLA makes it homemade style. The flavors are so pure. They had samples of forever young juice that was delicious and greenie that was yummy too. With juices they have to have the right proportions that's consist so the flavor is just right. And I have to say it is just right. The Açaí is a must try. They import it from Brazil. Friendly staff. Open super late I'll be coming back ! read more

By far this is the best cocktail I've ever tried! If you're looking for a cocktail with fresh fruits you should try ASHTALA !! Their ashta on top is sooo good topped with honey and pistachio They've got the middle eastern taste which is hard to master but they do it perfectly Even the gelato is yummyy The service is great .. staff is friendly Place is nice and cozy Highly recommended !!! read more

my first visit today and was a turn off i wouldn't return to this establishment for few reason here is why: a. super overpriced just because it's organic? still too much to spend. b. a very rude employee trying to teach me about organic food thinking i'm stupid and haven't heard about it in my life. c. not wearing a mask indoors and working with food after i placed my order i asked her to wear her mask while preparing my drink, she said "do you want me to wear my mask?" i said absolutely yes so she gave me this big attitude. so this what experienced today in this local store which it turned me off i wouldn't visit again there are plenty of other places i can take my business to...rude attitude along with high prices andddddd no mask on the top of it is a big no for me. read more

Came for the first time today and such great service from Arman. He explained the different types of smoothies and took extra care in going over the ingredients. He even went as far as to ask how much sugar we wanted, considering the dessert came with quite a bit of sugar. Will definitely come back again. read more

It's a love-hate relationship because each bite is more delicious than the last, but that also means that I'm going to be finished soon. I wish they made a size bigger than 32oz because it is just so damn good I can't get enough. You ever try something new and it suddenly becomes a part of your life like you can never be without it? That's exactly how I feel about this place. My go to order is: 32 oz Acai bowl, chocolate chunk granola, strawberry and banana, Nutella drizzle, and an extra topping of bee pollen. Parking is never an issue so it's easy to get in and get out fairly quickly. The only issue I've come across so far has to be the customer service. I placed a large order recently and realized I made a mistake. I called within 2 minutes of placing the order to fix it, and was told that the bowls had been made already. I was perplexed because when you order through the app, "ASAP" means it will be ready in 20 minutes. I ordered four bowls, and it was ready in less than two minutes? Yeah something is off here. I asked if I could fix the mistake I made and was met with "no there's nothing we can do because it's been made already". I explained how that couldn't be my order because I had JUST placed it, and it's advertised that it would be ready in 20 minutes because I chose the "ASAP" option. They then said that sometimes if they're not busy, they can finish an order in 5 minutes.... Okay. Well this one was done in 2 minutes so they must have The Flash working there. So just a heads up to everyone. Even though 20 minutes is what it'll say in the app if you select "ASAP" your order will probably be ready way before that so don't wait longer than you need to. Since they weren't remotely interested in trying to help me out, I figure I'd just have to take the L on this one. I sent an email to the address they have listed on their website (hello@beariesacai.com) for further help, but don't even bother trying that. The address is invalid so it'll get you nowhere. They should fix that because it's listed on their company website. They have a different email listed on their instagram page (beariesacai@gmail.com) But they haven't responded so I wouldn't count on getting any help. So make sure ya'll get it right the first time, Otherwise you're just out of luck. It's still absolutely delicious though.

I really like fruit cocktails and Ashta so I thought Id give this place a try. I was very surprised how bad it was!! The fruit juices tasted like they added tons of sugar to it.. it was sooo incredibly sweet I couldnt even enjoy it. And the ashta was old tasting.. like they made it the day before or something.. and the texture was lumpy. I was hoping it would be as good as Fruzion in Chatsworth.. but it didn't even come close!
