I am in love with this place! The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that it's cash only. I rarely carry cash BUT when I do have it on me I will make a stop here! The raw juice is delicious, they don't add all the crap you get at other juicing and smoothie places, so the natural flavors of the fruits and veg come out with every sip! It actually inspired me to start juicing at home since I can't justify spending $5-7 on juice everyday but I will always keep this as my healthy go-to treat! I come to get fresh juice at least once a week after work out. They have great selections and all the employees are always so nice to my son and I. I love the you're kalen it which is sweet but still very healthy and have tried the cbd oil and really enjoyed that as well. They only have one little table inside so it's really more of a to go place. They also do awesome deals on juices that are 5 dollars when they have too much and it's about to be expired. A little pricey but worth it. Also i love my juices cold and they are always the perfect temperature with out needing to add anything else. They sell granola as well and all around a great place. Juice Bar is doing it right! The owner, Sue, knows her stuff, and has created a menu that makes juicing easy and easy to understand for someone who hasn't juiced before. She is willing to consult with her customers to help them find the right combination of fruits, veggies, herbs, etc. to achieve their nutrition goals. I tend to go low carb, and she has told me how to tweak some of the sweeter juices to make them better for me. I happen to go to the best yoga studio (Orlando Power Yoga) next door, so the addition of Juice Bar is awesome! Fresh made juice to order after a sweaty yoga session is a treat! It's cool to see (and hear) all of the ingredients go in to the blender once you order your drink. And, she keeps the juice blends up to date and seasonal - based on availability of the ingredients. I have sampled almost all of the juices, and they are all amazing! I love Hail to the Kale and also Beetlejuice. It's cash only, and they have a punch card so that you can get a free juice after you purchase a certain amount. Also, I have my eye on the acrylic tumbler that you can buy and refill. Tiny mom-and-pop juice bar in Milk District area. You cant hang out here because its too tiny but you can pick up a juice and roll out. They have a special every day and their regular juices. They have two sizes and the small is five bucks. Its sort of pricey but I get why - the juice is great and you cant really find this anywhere else. The owners were friendly to me and I will be back. It's right by the barber shop, paint store, bakery and yoga place. I would've really liked to give the Juice Bar a 5 star, but I have to take one star for each offense. The first one is that they only accept cash. These days that just seems unacceptable. There is an ATM machine on site which, besides looking unsightly and taking up a good percentage of space in this tiny establishment, charges $2 per transaction. When you're buying $4 juice, it's hard to justify the transaction. There are a number of apps that facilitate credit card transactions, you can even find folks at the farmer's market using these. The second offense is the service. There is a lady that works there (not sure if she's the owner or an employee) who was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The rest of the staff that I've met, about 3, maybe 4 guys, are at best impersonal, at worst rude. One of the previous reviews says they seemed overwhelmed, but I can't imagine how overwhelming making juice can be, especially when I see so many truly overwhelmed service workers in other establishments who would never interrupt, dismiss, or not even make eye contact with their customers. To be more precise, they acted annoyed when a customer didn't know what to order right away and asked for recommendations (like she was wasting their time), or whenever I asked a question I was interrupted with what seemed like an automated answer without finishing my question. I, like a previous reviewer, also got the wrong change once, exactly $1 less than I should've. They also acted annoyed that someone didn't know they were cash only. On my last visit, I think they noticed my displeasure, but one of the guys still gave me an unapologetically forced mock smile on my way out. Left a bitter after taste on my juice. I still give them a 3 start because I'm glad there's a juice bar in Orlando, and I hope they improve. Many people juice because they want to feel healthy, full of energy, and happy. First time here and very new to juicing. I'm not a health nut. I am 50 lbs over weight. I'm not a vegetarian, nor do I plan to be one. However, I know that raw juicing is way more better for you than smoothies. I told them to be nice to me in order to ease my way into a more nutritious lifestyle. They prepared me a "Hail To kale". Not bad! I could drink that stuff all day. The problem is That I live in Lake Mary and have no business in being in the downtown area. Bummer.
