Wow. The guy that works here (owns with his family) is SOOO rude. I have been ordering the same drinks for years. From previous owners and the new owners (thinking I'm helping small business even though it's super $$ for these drinks). Today before class, like I always do. I ask to order my same smoothie and wellness shot to pick up after my yoga class. I usually stay after yoga to shower and chat w the instructors and other yogis. One day I was late picking up but I eventually got there. It seemed fine. I remember the interaction bc the original owner was there who is never there and I was so happy to see him. He was telling me about the new location he opened DT. Then the next time I asked for my usual before class the arrogant guy was there. I said sorry I threw my stuff down and just throwing in my order and I'll pay when I pick up. He says. Yea well you forgot to pick up last time and didn't pay. I was like "what?" That can't be true. I always have my routine. And I pick up right after and I notice if I pay bc it's cost $17-19 not including the tip I give EVERY SINGLE TIME. I explained I always pick up. And I definitely always pay. I think of small businesses as something I want to help keep open. Not add to the burden. His arrogance was over the top. I was so offended. I realized he was talking about the day I came late. My drink sat probably 20m longer than usual bc I got caught up talking to an instructor. And I noticed how late I was to pick it up bc the juice was colder and the protein settled to the bottom. It didn't taste as good. But also I saw the NICE brother/family member who took over and started this location. He worked every day w out any time off. And he was the NICEST guy unlike his brother/family member who is arrogant AF. I was so happy to see him and we chatted and I apologized for being late. His arrogant brother was talking about that day and how he took my order and thought I never came back bc he left and never saw me pick up. If you're going to accuse someone of something. AT LEAST BE RIGHT. Instead you're such a bad business owner that you're willing to not only push out a customer over nothing but also someone who consistently purchased from you. What a terrible business decision. Of course I am not only sharing my experience on here but w everyone I know in the studio to say: Please do not give your business to a man like this. He is cold and dead inside. And SMILED when he accused me of something he was WRONG about bc he his emotional intelligence isn't at a level to understand he might not know the entire story. I love this spot! They are so friendly and always wave as they see you in the window. I love supporting small businesses that put their heart and soul into the ingredients. I've had their Spice of Life juice many times as it always quenches my thirst after a workout. I love that they offer turmeric in this recipe. Today I tried the Snickers Bowl with banana, dates, cacao and almond milk. The peanut butter drizzle in this is so yummy and creamy. These ingredients go so well together and the bowl comes with 3 toppings. I chose banana, strawberry, and kiwi which were all sweet and fresh. The perfect break to my fast at 1:30 after an intense Saturday afternoon workout. My dad enjoys their tropical blast smoothie as I like to surprise him with this healthy treat ever so often. I come here often and I'm always pleased to get a punch on my loyalty card that always comes with a warm smile. A fabrication by definition is a factual falsehood... for example: (A) you did not in actual fact remove my order from the refrigerator as stated, I removed it myself. (B) Your employee did not give me "enough straws [plural] for my order, he gave me one singular straw for my four juices after I asked him for straws. (C) I did not enter your store without a face covering; after seeing the posted sign that masks were required, I made a second trip to my car to grab a t-shirt to wrap around my face which is how I walked in... whereupon you the store owner were seated maskless in violation of your own policy and CDC guidelines, facing the front door at the table a few feet away from the front entrance. The fact that the mask was fogging your glasses is noted... I think everyone can relate to the fact that masks aren't always the most comfortable; however, you were not wearing glasses while you spoke to me, nor did you make any attempt to put on a mask or cover your face in any way before you began speaking. I've never been called a Karen before so thanks for that! I needed a good laugh today and your review hit the spot as well as serving the dual purpose of providing all the insight necessary for me to know not to come here again. There is an alternate universe in which, as a business owner, you address customer feedback with basic decency- i.e. not calling people names like "Karen" or to "bugger off". In therapy, you'll learn someday that not all conflict resolution has to be contentious. This exchange was an opportunity for you to address a repeat customer's concerns (inclusive of clarifying things such as the fact that all of your single use plastic is recycled) with professionalism and the universal respect in which all people deserve to be treated. The fact that you reply to every negative customer review in this way, not just mine, is pretty informing and makes me wonder how you treat other people in your life that aren't even paying customers. This establishment is off of South street, before the light. Pay attention because you could miss it and then have to drive around the block again because of it being one way. There's parking available to the left of the establishment. Just make sure to pay attention to the spots as some are designated to the barbershop, Jusincredible Cutz. Inside of the Juice Bar, you're greeted with vibrant colors and some fun decor. If you look around you'll catch the various cats ;). I didn't get the woman's name, but she was so nice and helpful. My daughter who is 13 got the El Sol (Apple, carrot, celery, orange), and I ordered the Popeye (spinach, apple, cucumber, lemon, ginger). We both enjoyed both juices. The Popeye is great for those that don't like the juices too sweet, like myself. The blends of fruits/veggies go together well and compliment the ginger. The flavors most profound on my palette were cucumber, ginger and lemon. Great combination! There's also bottled juices and kombucha available for purchase in the cooler to the left when you walk in. This is a very cute little place! My friend and I went on a Saturday morning and there were a few other people there in front of us and the service was pretty quick, and everyone was very nice. I ordered the pink pitaya bowl with strawberries, bananas, peanut butter, and honey. The pink pitaya was not very good in my opinion. It was very fresh but had almost no flavor. The topping on my bowl were great though and all the fruit was fresh. My friend ordered the blue majik smoothie and she really enjoyed it. What I like about this place is that they are very customer friendly. I started coming here after Whole Foods destroyed their juice bar by doing away with the make your own options, raising the price, and shrinking the cup. I love that I can come here instead. I can get a make my own juice with whatever I want. I don't have to wait in massive line like at Whole Foods, and I can support a local business. They don't take credit cards which does seem crazy to me in this day and age. However, if you know that and are prepared its not that big of a deal. The cheapest place I've seen thus far for a healthy fresh pressed juice! With great customer service! I definitely recommend the Hale to Kale which has kale, apple, orange and lemon. It's the most popular drink there :) I added beets and ginger to it which adds more detoxification :P They also serve pressed juices in bottles already prepared to grab on the go. Some have almond milk in it which sounds really tasty, I'm going to try next time! And at the end of the day, they sell juices which are called the "last day of freshness sale" for $5. You just need to inform the cashier. Otherwise, there $7.25 I believe but it's still a good deal with all the great ingredients they have. Tip: It may be hard to find when your driving, so make sure you gps it and drive slowly because you'll see that it's in a plaza strip-like area on the side of the road.
