I was so happy to find this place while I was staying at Fairmont Orchid. Friendliest staff and good smoothies. I really enjoyed the bagel with hummous, tomato, sprouts, & avocado. Easy walk with my kids from Fairmont. The staff at the juice bar can call the hotel shuttle to pick you up so you don't have to walk back with food, or if your kids can't handle the walk back. Kids smoothies are made with fresh ingredients (not that dairy base stuff they use at the Fairmont poolside bar - ugh). If you're in this area and want fresh stuff make sure you visit this juice bar. read more

I love Juice 101! The ingredients are fresh from local farmers and what they serve is unique. As far as some of the other reviewers complaining about price and speed of service, this is the deal: you are on an island of paradise, so relax and let it go. The island is an expensive place; have you looked at what it costs for a gallon of milk?! So you can't expect a business owner to eat the costs of all the fresh ingredients that are purchased from local farmers! As far as speed of service, you're on island time. If you want fast and cheap go to a Wal-Mart on the mainland. read more

How is this place still even in business? My family and I went here for a light dinner and there was a live insect that crawled out of one of our salads! The people who work here are extremely unprofessional, loud, and although they refunded us, we felt sick the whole night after the consumption of this CRAP. The ice cream was too sour, they made our order wrong 3 times, AND we had an extra side of protein which we did not want. (Our little bug friend). This is a great, casual breakfast spot near the Fairmont Orchid. Very friendly staff and extensive menu options. The Açaí bowls are fresh and flavorful (the small size is more than plenty for one person). The egg and avocado wrap is tasty as well and a good portion size. read more

My family and I stayed at the Fairmont Orchid for 4 nights and every single morning we were excited to eat our breakfast at Juice 101. The food is amazing and the owner Breanna is fantastic, so friendly, warm, and funny. We all loved our meals and including the hummus and veggie bagels, acai bowls, pesto sandwich which were made with fresh ingredients. There is also a kava bar which is pretty neat to try, the ice teas are delicious and the fresh juices are amazing. Overall do not miss Juice 101 it is a great fast and healthy choice. read more

Ok they didn't have acai that day when I went, so I opted for the pitaya bowl. Wow what a mistake. Maybe it's just a bad batch, but the pitaya puree had a FISHY taste. I have no idea why that would happen. Initially I thought maybe that was just pitaya in general since it was the first time I had a pitaya bowl, but nope. My boyfriend and I decided to grab a smoothie from here for the first time after watching some 4D movies across Juice 101! Being a sucker for smoothies, I was more impressed than I thought I'd be! We ordered a regular size Purple Haze Smoothie! We should've ordered the largest size! It was SUPER DELISH and healthy tasting at the same time and I think they definitely put Jamba Juice to shame. Dirty place. When you enter, take a look around and you'll see a place that isn't cleaned very often or at least cleaned very poorly. Also there is an employee behind the counter that is so loud when she talks. All the customers were looking at each other with grins and confusion on their faces...."why is this person yelling". As we waited for our 2 smoothies, it took 20 minutes, a customer came in and was promptly told that the wait to get a smoothie would be 45 minutes. Mija has a great smile and makes a great caprese panini. Actually better than great. My husband ordered it but I gladly accepted his second offer of a taste. I don't remember having one better anywhere. I had the Pirates of the Hawaiian Islands smoothie and although the only ingredient I wasn't really excited about was the bannana, the other ingredients blended well and I barely tasted the bannana. The owner also said it was 100% kona....she is a total peach, very friendly and she offered suggestions for things to do during our stay. The juice tastes fresh and I love how they give you the option to customize your juice. Prices are also as expected. However, I'm giving them 2 stars for the service. It's not bad, but each time I come here, they are severely under staffed. Only two people to man the register and make the juice or sandwich etc. one time I literally waited 30 minutes for juice. I know it costs money to staff a third person but the service is just too slow which usually deters me from going. But I also love juicing and getting in the veggies in one shot. If you are not in a hurry, the smoothies and frozen yogurt here are really good. Daughter likes the B52 smoothie; husband and I both enjoy the pineapple and passion fruit frozen yogurt...perfect snack after scuba diving. We will go back for more while we are on the island. read more

This place is fantastic! My husband and I were on the Big Island for our anniversary. We stopped here on day 2 after we got tired of resort prices and food. We returned every day until we left the island. Tried the paninis for lunch (turkey mozz and another one with prosciutto) with salad. The turkey mozz is the best panini I've ever had and the other one was great too! The salad that comes with the paninis and the Greek salad were awesome. On our last day we took a jog and stopped for smoothies (with papaya and mango and coconut) with whey protein added. So tasty and filling! I highly recommend this place! I'm giving two stars simply because they have Friendly Staff. However, they need to work on getting food out quicker. It was a lot of chit chat behind the counter when they could have been making our food. Waiting nearly 30 mins for a wrap is ridiculous, especially with an empty restaurant. We saw a staff member leave to use the restroom, come back and then serve the food to another customer who was in front of us. As if the other four people behind the counter couldn't do that, they were too busy talking really LOUD! It's one thing to have fun in the workplace but do it when all the customers are taken care of. read more

We found all that and more at Juice 101! The owne Briana (hoep I got the spelling right) was awesome. Full of energy & interesting stories. Her staff was also great. The food was outstanding. The egg wraps, smoothies, Acai bowls, etc. And, of course, the authentic Kava. One morning I actually woke up with a back spasm. Two Kava drinks later I was feeling like a million bucks!
