SUPER DISAPPOINTED... TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.. Will sadly not be going there again... I prefer…read moreto drive further for decent customer service. This was FAR from it. I sent my daughter in to buy herself and my son a booster juice as we had been racing doing errands on my only day off and they had not yet eaten and was 3pm.. (yes.. bad mom..lol) Trying to feed them healthier on the go and obviously more $$ than a quick drive thru but I am health conscious and I do not mind spending more money on better alt3ernatives when eating out. They came out 15 minutes later while I was next door at Chopped Leaf (AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE) ... They came out and she took a sip of her BERRY smoothie and it tasted minty... She asked me to taste it and it was definitely overpowered by a minty flavor.... I thought it was odd.. So I sent her back, she was nervous but these are not cheap to just throw away and she was hungry and I was in a hurry.... She explained to the staff that it tasted minty and she didn't like it... They replied that she should have looked at the menu board as it has BASIL in it.... She apologized and explained that she did not see the basil listed and thought her drink was a berry drink ( not really expecting to have basil in a berry drink... ) They told her it was too bad and that there is nothing they could do. She came out crying.. (by this time I have missed my Dr appointment) so I decided to go in, thinking that maybe she did not explain properly as I could not understand why they wouldn't offer decent customer .service as I would in my business. For the sake of good business, they should have explained that this time they can fix it but next time, please be sure to double check the menu before ordering) We live close by and are good customers there and other stores in that complex. It was definitely overpowered by basil and I told her to taste it if she didn't believe me... I am not a complainer... all of the other businesses nearby know us and are always happy to welcome us with great service and smiles. The lady basically told me the same thing, I showed her my daughter outside in tears and in front of everyone said too bad, she should have looked at the menu, and walked away. I was shocked.... not one bit of empathy or customer service and this is disappointing in our amazingly supportive community. Other custmers standing there were in shock too.... was awful! She was bordering disrespectful with her response to me and I was extremely polite as I always am, Businesses are struggling, I know this but having staff that provide terrible customer service skills without basic manners or politeness makes it worse. I hope that the owner sees this.. As a business owner myself, I understand the struggles we have been through and I support local but after this experience, we will be driving to Langley Booster Juice in hope of better service for the money we spend there. BAD SERVICE is killer for businesses, please Walnut Grove, get it together :) Staff need to start caring for the sake of these business owners... treat their business as if it were y0ur own.. whatever happened to work ethic ?

The selection at Nature's Fare Markets was mind-blowing…read more My husband was wise and grabbed a seat in their cafe area - since it was evident that I was waaaay too thrilled to be walking down every aisle in this healthy oasis. This place is not cheap - but they have put together an incredible assortment of organic/healthy grocery items. They have it all when it comes to keto, gluten-free, vegan, sugar-free items and much more. I picked up some vegan cheese, some paleo snacks, and a single serving of matcha. I was actually surprised at the restraint that I showed - especially with the array of mouth watering desserts beckoning me as - you enter (the vegan/gluten free carrot cake looked amazing). They also have some decent looking pre-made take-away options, as well as freshly made smoothies - if you're looking for a quick nourishing bite. Support local and get your grocery on. I guarantee that it will be hard to walk out of here empty-handed. Trust.

I was able to find my favourite coffee beans from 'the drive' here; Moja coffee. The prices are exorbitant, oat milk coffee creamer is $6.99, which is outrageous but I think overall food inflation is a global issue not just locally. It's a nice big store and I will post photos on my next visit.
